How we keep our tasks organized!
What do you like best about the product?
Keeping everyone on our team in the loop about each others' tasks and progress. Our lists on Asana help move along more complex projects by informing everyone of where we're at and how close to completion we are.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the details of a task are hidden more than I would like. A user interface with the option to view all subtasks and details more efficiently would be appreciated!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps keep everyone on our team aware of what steps must be taken to move the project forward. It allows us to communicate the needs of a task and the overall project succinctly and clearly. Because of this, we've become significantly more productive, and our business performance has increased.

While Asana may seem daunting initially due to its extensive capabilities, it's well worth investing time to learn how to utilize it effectively. Asana offers a range of features that make it a helpful project management tool, although its flexibility may not match that of competing platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of Asana's top features, that helps me a lot, is its ability to categorize tasks and details into boards, lists, and calendars, providing transparency and prioritization. The feature of setting deadlines for projects also encourages collaboration and teamwork. Asana's real-time project status monitoring and prompt updates ensure that all team members remain informed and aligned throughout the project. Additionally, Asana offers a drive to store and access all project and task-related files and attachments, which is especially beneficial for large-scale projects with numerous deliverables.

What do you like best about the product?
Subtask management is beneficial. With subtasks, assigning the same task to several people without doubling the parent's assignment is possible. It is also helpful to see how many studies each team member has completed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana can be used in many different ways by each user. Maintaining consistency and ensuring everyone is on the same sheet makes it challenging. Additional project-wide rules functionality, more reporting capabilities and the ability to retrieve orphaned tasks would be greatly appreciated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my organization, Asana has been instrumental in coordinating efforts across departments. It used to be challenging to keep track of all the moving parts in these projects, but with this new tool, we can set clear deadlines and easily assign responsibility.
Not *totally* beginner friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I like how you can organize in an old fashion way but digitally.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has a huge learning curve as it is more for people who already have project management experience rather than a student like me who doesn't have a considerable workload.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As said before, it is neither beginner-friendly nor a good resource for students. I wish there were more customizable ways to see everything. While there is Asana with students, it doesn't seem to work too well with modern student workflows.

I like about Asana that has a very user friendly interface: minimalist and useful. The mobile app, calendar and gmail extension are very useful too.

Too many premium features that are free in other task management apps like ClickUp. I would like Asana with more customisation options, in order to adapt the app to my needs as a solo user.

Asana is always implementing new features that users ask, so I think that the Asana developers always listen to the users. This is very important because there are so many task management apps right now and users are always looking for the best.

This can be a significant drawback for users who are on a tight budget.

The collaborative features of Asana are also incredibly impressive. It is so easy to share tasks and projects with team members and track progress in real-time. I like having all the information I need for each project as well as the due date for when it needs to be completed. I like that you can post updates and create subtasks. I love being able to attach images/content as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is confusing because not all the assignments show up unless you toggle between upcoming and overdue. It sends a lot of notifications unless you adjust the settings.

Asana helps me know what my manager needs to be done. It keeps all my tasks in one place, and I love checking them off as complete each one. It also lets me create further jobs for myself and change the due date if I need to.
