  • October 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to keep planning of all my tasks and projects in one place
What do you dislike about the product?
Not too much - would like more customisability with colours for tasks etc
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping everything together - I only have to come to one place to look at the progress of multiple projects instead of checking multiple platforms

Great for Team Organization and Project Tracking

  • October 31, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Asana makes it easy to organize and track projects in one central place. The interface is intuitive, and features like task assignments, due dates, and project timelines help keep everyone accountable and on the same page. The ability to integrate with other tools (like Slack, Google Drive, and Zoom) is also super helpful. Overall, it improves team communication, boosts productivity, and ensures that deadlines don’t slip through the cracks.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of Asana is that it can feel a bit overwhelming at first, especially for new users who aren’t familiar with project management tools. There are so many features and views that it takes time to learn how to use them effectively. It can also get cluttered if projects aren’t well organized, and some advanced features are only available in paid plans. Additionally, notifications can become excessive if not managed properly, which sometimes makes it harder to focus.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has been instrumental in addressing issues with team coordination, task visibility, and missed deadlines. Prior to using it, tracking responsibilities and due dates was a challenge. With Asana, everything is organized and easy to find—tasks, deadlines, priorities, and progress are all centralized. This clarity helps minimize confusion, enhances accountability, and ensures that projects continue to move forward smoothly. Being able to view project timelines and dependencies has also made planning and collaboration significantly more efficient.

Effortless Project Management and Outstanding Support with Asana

  • October 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
We use Asana as a project management tool in our company and it is easy to use. I set it up for the business in just a few days. One feature that made our work easier is using Asana form and automating the tasks. Instead of going back and forth on the tasks to assign it to people, it can be automated and automatically assigned which lessens my workload.
What do you dislike about the product?
None. Everything the organization needs can be found in Asana, and whenever I have questions, I can easily email one of the supports, Allan Way, and he'd happily schedule a meeting with me. Simply the best!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Asana, all the tasks were communicated on Whatsapp, Email, or calls. Now everything is in one place. We can easily see all the projects, deadlines, tasks, and even the time sheets!

Extremely User-Friendly and Intuitive

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is extremely user friendly and intuitive to beginner or first time users.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like Asana to provide a Gantt level view for multiple projects. I had to integrate with another application for this, although it was an easy process it would be nice to have in one tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy project management and executive level views of project milestones.

Great for Small Teams, But Needs Better Template Options

  • October 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana offers a free version for basic users and allows for customization to fit your needs. While Asana is not specifically designed as a scrum tool, you can adapt it by setting up sprints and organizing tasks within them. In the free version, the admin retains control and can add multiple users as well as numerous tasks. This makes it a practical option for small groups maximum 10 people looking to collaborate effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana lacks quality templates for users. It would be helpful if they offered more customizable templates or provided an option for users to create their own personalized templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Like I said there are many free tool, but Asana is a very easy and simple to use it.

Essential Task Management, But iPad View Needs Improvement

  • October 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to easily assign tasks to project team members and create parking lots for tasks that anyone with capacity can complete. We can't see how we would manage without the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The iPad version is a little small, and I can't easily see all the details in the list views.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped us better manage projects and milestones. We see more tasks being completed on time and a redcutnion in project overruns,

Versatile Tool for Team Collaboration, But Notification Settings Need Improvement

  • October 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a huge part of my work experience. I literally spend maybe 15% of my total time at work on Asana, as I work in operations. There are tons of different uses for it, to list a few that I use: 1. Content calendar for email marketing 2. Board for review dates of internal knowledge articles and templates 3. Personal boards for each of our team members listing tasks 4. Team boards that show each team members list of capacity (overlaps with 3) 5. Meeting boards where anyone is welcome to add a card into a 'to be discussed column' where we discuss ideas in a weekly meeting
What do you dislike about the product?
The notification settings can be confusing - if you have a busy inbox, you can easily miss notifications if you are not tagged in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accounting processes, setting and reviewing tasks, reviewing articles we have written

Helps me bring structure and calm to busy, multi-team projects

  • October 28, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I love most about Asana is how it brings clarity to complex, ongoing work. In my previous roles, I often juggled multiple administrative and implementation projects — onboarding new systems, tracking requests from different departments, and managing deadlines that moved constantly. Asana made that chaos much easier to manage.

I especially value the way tasks can be grouped under projects with owners, subtasks, and due dates — it feels like a digital project manager quietly keeping things aligned. I used the timeline and board views frequently to track progress and see which pieces were lagging, which really helped with team accountability. The integrations with email and Google Drive were also practical , I could attach relevant files directly to tasks instead of hunting through threads or folders.

For collaborative work, Asana’s comment and tag features saved a lot of back-and-forth emails. I liked that updates were transparent, so everyone involved could instantly see what changed and why, it built trust and reduced confusion.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the number of notifications can get a little noisy, especially when several people update the same project. I also wish there were more intuitive templates for recurring administrative workflows , I ended up creating my own structure over time. But overall, those are small things compared to the visibility and consistency Asana adds to daily operations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has been incredibly useful for bringing structure and accountability into team projects. In my previous roles, I often managed cross-functional tasks onboarding new systems, tracking implementation milestones, and coordinating updates between teams spread across departments. Before Asana, it was easy for small details to slip through email threads or spreadsheets.

With Asana, every task had a clear owner, deadline, and progress view. It helped us avoid duplicate work, manage priorities better, and close communication gaps. I also found it helpful for reporting and follow ups, instead of chasing updates, I could view everything in one place. The result was fewer delays, more visibility, and a calmer workflow overall

Flexible and Familiar, But Needs Better Setup Guidance and Customization

  • October 27, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1. The ability to related single tasks to multiple projects or single projects to multiple portfolios
2. The status update functionality on projects
3. The general flexibility I have with custom fields, custom automation, etc.
4. Overall UI mirrors Excel, so it's an easy tool to manage and pick up
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Asana is very easy to overengineer, which leads to low adoption or utilization. I wish there were more resources or structure around how to set it up and deploy it in phases.
2. Project templates are great, but I wish there were more things to templatize like status updates and descriptions.
3. Lack of customizability at the project level (see Overview tab)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping my team organized and focused on a limited set of tasks and communicating key updates to the organization (especially stakeholders).
