Asana: A Powerful Tool for Managing Projects and Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a powerful project management tool that has greatly benefited our team. We love its intuitive interface and rich feature set, allowing us to track and manage our tasks and projects efficiently. The ability to create custom workflows and integrate them with other tools, such as Slack and Google Drive, has benefited us. We also appreciate the flexibility of Asana, which allows us to customise it to fit our specific needs and workflows. Overall, Asana has been a valuable tool for helping us stay organised and on track, and we highly recommend it to other teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana can be a bit pricey for some teams, especially if you need to upgrade to a paid plan to access certain features. While Asana has been helpful for us, it may not be the best fit for everyone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is helping us solve several critical business problems, including managing and tracking our projects and tasks, staying organised and on track, and improving communication and collaboration within our team. By providing a central platform for managing our work, Asana allows us to allocate our resources better and ensure that we are making progress on our goals. Creating custom workflows and integrating them with other tools has also been beneficial, allowing us to tailor Asana to our specific needs and processes. Overall, Asana has been a valuable tool for helping us run our business more efficiently and effectively.
Very useful for tracking tasks/projects
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a great tool to keep track of task deadlines and also to collaborate with others in your team on projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the home page was more customizable in terms of how things appear on the screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a variety of tasks I have to keep track of. Some recur on a daily basis and others I do once a week. I also have ongoing, long-term projects and also short-term projects. With Asana, I can create separate sections to track each.
Smarter Task Management
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has made my life easier in terms of my to-do list. I was feeling very frazzled before because I would have to write down my tasks by hand or have them in my notes app. Now, I have a section for each day of the week, so whenever I have something to do, I add it to that day. I start my day by looking at Asana and frequently check it to ensure I'm staying on task. We also use Asana for project collaboration, so it's beneficial for me to see where our team is at in terms of a project.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't actively think of anything I dislike about Asana.... I think before, I just didn't know how to use it and thats what made me dislike it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving the problem of reactively doing work. Now, I'm proactive in my tasks and am ahead of schedule. There are some days I won't have much to do because I've already knocked everything on my list! Staying focused has improved my satisfaction and performance times.
Great project management platform
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to sort tasks by date, but it also can be organized into sections to ensure that project steps stay together. As well, I enjoy the ability to make templates, as when preparing for marketing campaigns, it's useful to reflect on what was done last year, and what will work for this year.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't particularly appreciate that it doesn't have a dedicated chat function. Comments in tasks can get clogged up, especially in a project, so having a chat function could help streamline the project management system. Other than that, Asana is a great platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helped our team stay organized for upcoming marketing campaigns and keep them organized by date and project. Overall, it is an excellent program for project and task management.
Great project management tool for marketing team, UI could have been better
What do you like best about the product?
Hassle-free project collaborations, integrations, Kanban views especially the in-mail notification when some task is assigned. Compared to its competitors the User interface is still a bit old and stereotyped.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way the interface handles recurring tasks is completely not feasible for marketers, they should find better ways to handle these recurring tasks inside the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Co-ordination on marketing tasks, collaborating with team members, keeping up to date on the daily tasks the most important problem it solves it acts like a content repository for all our marketing collaterals.

the one thing which i dont like from this application is we cannot se the status of the employees who is online and offline so please give an update so that it will be easy to track

its a great tool to manage your entire life
What do you like best about the product?
The design is beautiful, and the interface is intuitive and straightforward. Has a lot of valuable features, and the templates are just great; it helps you get started in a plug-and-play way
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not have a native time-tracking feature, and sometimes integrations stop working or repeatedly ask for permissions as actualizations are released, which is often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Management, teamwork, workload, organization, event organization, life organization, planning, free and personal time planning. It benefits me by helping me save time, stay focused and organized and get things done.
Great program for task management
What do you like best about the product?
I liked how easy Asana makes it to complete a task. You can create projects and sub-projects to organize the tasks. Once the task is complete, you can mark it complete and the task is archived. Not all task management apps do that.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't believe there are many downsides. Sometimes when you get behind, the tasks left can be a bit overwhelming because they show up bright red. But that is me nit-picking at things.

Task Management. Not all programs have built-in task managers. Asana is a great task management program.
A must for personal task management

What do you dislike about the product?
They should have a view just for today's tasks (which you can then sort per due date or alphabetical order as well); it's actually the thing i miss the most.

Organizing hundreds of tasks (planned at least 3 months in advance) and dozens of projects in a very broad job scope such as Inbound Marketing
I love Asana for consulting projects and my clients feel the same way.

I guess the free version could be better; besides, it works perfectly.
