Paywalls existing features, otherwise lovely.
What do you like best about the product?
The UX is a cut above any other PM software I've used, even better than the one I have chosen in place of Asana (ClickUp). I love the frilly stuff that you can enable/disable depending on the tone of the project (I love my flying narwhals).
What do you dislike about the product?
Paywalling existing features is the quickest/easiest way to get put on my denylist for SaaS software that I will eventually pay big bucks on. It is a betrayal of trust that represents a flawed moral and/or ethical compass of the company's decision-makers. Perhaps some transparency about why it was done may have swayed my opinion in one direction or another, but there wasn't any, which indicated dark patterning to me. An ironic position to be in, given that I think their UX is otherwise stellar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Does all the things I need in project management software. The UX not only makes it efficient and easy, but also fun. Knowing all the little hacks like making cats appear is rare in SaaS and I absolutely love it.

Giving daily updates to manager is a tideous task, asana makes it easier

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a perfect tool for managing multiple projects at the same time. It's easy to use, and setting up and configuring your board takes only a few minutes to start immediately. The Asana dashboard includes all of the features required to manage your projects. Project templates can be created in bulk, allowing you to work on multiple projects simultaneously or start a new project without first discarding the old one. Team members you invite can then effectively collaborate. It is possible to automate tasks and monitor team performance. With Asana's reporting feature, you can view statistics for (un)completed, this month completed, and overdue tasks. The ability to convert this to a PDF for emailing is a convenient feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Asana's project management features are excellent, the app's other features, such as creating/configuring reports, setting goals, and building portfolios, are not user-friendly. No comprehensive educational materials can be a significant barrier to entry for newcomers and those who have never used any task/project management tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Asana to stay organized and never miss a deadline again. Asana notifications have assisted us in staying on top of our projects and maintaining open communication lines so that everyone is on the same page. We can also quickly transfer and share files related to the overall project or individual tasks when we work together.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how user-friendly Asana is! It's perfect for our distributed team's project management and communication needs. Plus, workflows automate various mundane tasks that would otherwise need to be performed manually–which makes it superior to similar apps. Viewing my day as a timeline or calendar has also been extremely beneficial for keeping me on track and revealing where I've been investing my time ( wisely or not!).
What do you dislike about the product?
I prefer a visual representation of my tasks as well as the project as a whole to track my progress. The overall aesthetic of the program could also be improved in comparison to other available options
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is a valuable tool for preventing chaos in large projects involving multiple people. By keeping track of tasks and deadlines, Asana helps ensure that these projects are completed efficiently and on time.
Very organized and valuable tool for a marketing team.
What do you like best about the product?
It allows us to submit detailed creative requests that can be accessed quickly and keeps the creative process moving without hiccups. Teams can provide feedback in the form of comments in an organized manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can sometimes be confusing and requires a bit of setup before you can get everything moving along. Permissions for individual members on posts can sometimes not apply and requires approval from someone else.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When moving to a remote capacity at work, Asana provided us with a platform to organize and present our creative briefs so that all members in the process were aware of the state of a project and how to keep it on track.
Fast and Swift
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is really helpful for all.

There are few bugs in the software that is making it lag behind sometimes, but it runs smoothly and swiftly

I can collaborate with my team and meetings more efficiently. Saves my time like a lot and takes care of all the things I forget
Good for small scale organizations
What do you like best about the product?
I like how good the software is at managing the workflow. Multiple projects can be handled with ease. All teams can manage the project, and the assigning tool and notification system to keep you updated with the project helps keeping track of all the frequent changes happening within the system.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say I like that getting someone started with no experience with such software is not easy. It takes time to get used to the UI and navigate your items through multiple inputs made by other people and implementing it with new people and training them on this software takes time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my organization, all the projects are carried out using asana. Asana mainly helps us keep track of all changes happening to the product and keeps the employees in the loop with all the updates. Not only that, it helps us track employee work output and contribution.
Scalable tool with lots & lots of features inbuilt
What do you like best about the product?
Workflow management, project management, better goal projection and team alignment.

Time tracking is not available and assignments are limited

Very easy to onboard, drag-and-drop is intuitive and simple, appreciate being able to view in different formats to best suit project.

It's a bit tricky to set up automations. Integrations can be clunky.

Ability to layout to-do list items and share with involved parties.
