Works with everyone's buyin
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is really helpful when trying to organize and plan a large project or event. It allows many people to know the status of a project and what their part on it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful is it's not user friendly or intuitive, it is clunky and can be hard to use and to train staff on. Without full buy in I do not feel it is worth the money.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is solving the large project and event problems that have dozens of tasks and stakeholders. If there was a free option that I could use for only one event a year I would love that option.
Perfect for Event/Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
As an event manager, I love Asana because it is nice to have all of my event tasks in one place. I also love the ability to add notes to my tasks, set due tasks, and assign tasks to others on my team. It has been really helpful in keeping me on target.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I haven't found anything about Asana that I don't like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps me organized and helps my team understand where I am in terms of planning each event. Should something happen and I'm not around they will be able to see the status of my events and keep on going.
Excellent worklog / task manager for me
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use interface which was a requirement for me & quick to use features
What do you dislike about the product?
not dislike, but I would want a feature to add effort hours to each task
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage a team & staying on top of all the work is difficult, this is what Asana is solving for me
Asana is an outstanding basis for group project management.
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how easy Asana is to use. I don't need a lot of training or coaching to get started and figure things out. Creating projects, tasks, and subtasks and then assigning them to team members is quick and easy- exactly what I need when trying to get things done. Additionally, it's flexible in that it can be customized according to individual needs instead of the other way around. If specific tasks become frustrating because they're repetitive, automating part of the process using Asana can help alleviate some of that frustration.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are several features that I dislike about Asana. One is that several components can only be accessed online, not on a desktop. This makes it difficult sometimes to locate my IDs for projects and tasks when working online (something integrations require). Additionally, I find some features difficult to understand without having dedicated training from Asana first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our employees find that seeing all tasks in one place allows for better collaboration and coordination. However, some departments are not using Asana as efficiently as possible due to a lack of understanding of how the tool works.

The problem is that some departments are not using Asana efficiently due to a lack of understanding of how the tool works
It is hard to imagine project management without Asana
What do you like best about the product?
The completeness of the solution. From a personal to-do list, through team meeting agendas, to complex team project boards, Asana has you covered. I love having all my tasks in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not having the power to introduce the rest of the company to Asana. ;) Honestly, I would have to think really hard to come up with one thing that needs improvement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having all tasks in one place. Being able to create complex projects involving many different team members. Sharing the progress of the projects with everyone easily. Cross-referencing tasks in different projects. All this saves a lot of my time.

Good project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Nice user interface and experience - works well to manage multiple projects with contractors. I like the columns where I can shift activities into different stages and automated emails are sent to assignees.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's pretty good so nothing major to report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps with project management with a contractor I'm using. I drop tasks in there for him to pick up.
Asana: A platform for collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that I can tailor Asana to my specific needs. Setting up alerts and notifications is extremely helpful in ensuring we stay on track with our projects and meet deadlines. Creating tasks and delegating them to team members is also very easy, regardless of whether they use a mobile device or the web interface. Another great thing about this platform is that it can be used with other applications to get even more value.
What do you dislike about the product?
It isn't easy to prioritize projects when multiple are active. Notifications seem random, and there's no transparent system for managing them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Asana system is solving the problem of team tracking. It benefits me by displaying the progress of past and current projects and keeping track of any collaboration or integration.
Great Project Management System

At the moment there isn't anything in particular I can think of that I don't like.

Bird's-eye view of business projects and tasks.
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is great because it is a flexible project management platform that does not impose a predetermined workflow on its users. Due to its user-friendly interface and customizable views, Asana can be utilized across industries and departments for various purposes. In addition, I appreciate how Asana gives management a bird's-eye view of the company and each department while giving employees a clear picture of what they need to accomplish daily, weekly, and monthly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some users might be discouraged by its steep learning curve. This may be especially true for those just beginning to use the tool if they lack a consultant to advise them on the most suitable practices and demonstrate how to digitalize their processes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is an indispensable tool for seeing the big picture for your business, team, or department. This allows you to find the data you need to complete a task more quickly and with fewer unnecessary interactions.
