Easy to tailor and use
What do you like best about the product?
It's very visual, and easy to use. I really like to work with remote teams, it helps a lot to create projects, and analyze the process. I used to work with trello or todoist, and I always come back to Asana.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I dislike is the way to export, and import projects, as it's not easy for individual users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solves project definition, schedule and owners. Also very useful to keep all your links in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana can serve multiple purposes within a company. It allows us to create numerous types of boards and has been incredibly useful for me in stressful situations that require quick decisions. The ability to monitor and manage your tasks from a single location significantly improves over previous methods. By submitting a project in Asana, collaborators can communicate and assign tasks in two directions, eliminating the need for lengthy email threads. Therefore, the project's status is always transparent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana's help center and feature set are inferior to its competitor monday.com. In addition, you are allowed only to assign a single team member to each task, making it challenging to assign tasks to multiple individuals and forcing you to duplicate them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team has used Asana as a task tracking and project management tool. We have been able to monitor and report on the development of a project in real-time from the beginning to the end of its life cycle. Asana enables simple document tagging and sharing, status updates, and more. In addition, we've used it to build an agile backlog, which has assisted us in planning for future projects.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Asana has become a lot smarter and easier to use lately. The AI features are actually helpful, things like task summaries and automatic updates save a ton of time.
I also love the new dashboards and workload view. It’s much easier to see who’s working on what and spot bottlenecks before they become a problem.
Overall, it feels more than just a task manager now, it actually helps teams stay aligned and get things done without constant follow-ups.

What do you dislike about the product?
One thing Asana could improve is making it easier to find tasks or tickets without having the direct link. Sometimes searching for something specific can feel harder than it should be, especially if you don’t remember the exact project or wording.
Improving search and making task discovery more intuitive would definitely make the tool feel more handy and user-friendly.

A Great Product with Lot of Features for Project Managers
What do you like best about the product?
The best part is the integrations and continued development orientation by the team Asana. Connecting my workflow with outside 3rd party apps is much easier in Asana as other apps also support it. It's superficial but very deep inside. Managing projects and my activities is something I love to do. If there were any lifetime deals on Appsumo, I would grab it immediately!
What do you dislike about the product?
Firstly it has a slightly higher learning curve when compared with its competitors, which can be compensated with good training videos and free certification by Asana. I appreciate the Asana Academy, but there should be courses on different aspects of using it (project managers, daily routine use, productive powerhouse, bloggers and marketers). Unlimited guests are not in the free tier, a significant limitation for free users.

A To-do list is the first go toward managing my tasks and activities.
Managing my team and client activity is another great role of Asana in my workflow.
Other 3rd party apps are super-willing to connect to Asana, and I can find Asana in their integrations.

I used asana with my current organisation and found it to be very easy to use.

The best part about asana is that it offers a free to use plan which has very powerful features.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit difficult to work with on their mobile app as compared to their website.Also the emails from asana are very frequent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Earlier our team used to work with google sheets for managing tasks which was not very good. Now they switched to asana and it is very helpful.
Great management tool, but costly as the team grows.

Some of the syncing issues - but nothing bad overall and great integrations with all of the software we use
