Misleading Pricing and Rigid User Blocks Overshadow an All-in-One Platform

  • February 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Everything in one place - project and porfolios
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost is really expensive. In fact the cost page is misleading, as the cost per person is wrong, only in the small print does it say "blocks of 5 people". Additionally, the fact that we have to remove user blocks if reduce users is just horrible.

Time tracking isn't great either. We have to use other tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing a variety of projects. From ISO to client to marketing

Streamlining Nonprofit Operations with Asana

  • February 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Asana has many views and that you can chat directly inside a task and make comments. It integrates well with Slack and Google Drive, and it helps cut time down when I'm trying to communicate about projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think sometimes it's hard to know how to get it to work. For example, when we were trying to create dependencies, it wasn't clear the first time we were trying to do it. And I had to look into documentation, which there's a lot of, but it can definitely be overwhelming to start.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to track the progress of multiple projects and for recurring reminders for annual deadlines. It helps cut down communication time about projects and simplifies seeking clarity without more meetings.

Clean Task Lists That Make Follow-Ups and Progress Tracking Easy.

  • February 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is most helpful for tracking client action items post-meeting and review. I personally utilize it to assign follow-ups, set due dates, and track progress. The layout of the task list is clean and makes it simple to identify what has not been addressed without having to sift through emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
When priorities change rapidly, it is not uncommon for tasks to require manual reordering based on priority.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before, follow-ups were managed via inbox flags and shared sheets, which sometimes resulted in missed follow-ups. Asana has improved this process by providing better visibility into client task management.

Asana Keeps Projects Organized With Clear Visibility Into Tasks and Deadlines.

  • February 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
ASANA provides a solid organizational mechanism for my client's project needs by providing one central location to assign post-review action items for my project managers, manage deadlines, and gain insight/visibility on open tickets from our clients. ASANA's timeline and list views also allow me to easily see how all my tasks are progressing without having to search in my email inbox for information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, when I have prioritized tasks, the order of tasks will not be all that needs to change; new tasks may need to be added to keep everything aligned with the overall project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the past, I would be able to track follow-up actions by keeping a shared spreadsheet and marking follow-ups in my email account. ASANA provides a much more straightforward task assignment method as well as a much greater sense of accountability to my project managers than I had previously.

Asana Makes Milestones and Ownership Easy to Track at a Glance.

  • February 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is best used for planning activities and tracking ownership for groups. I use it to divide activities into milestones and track the ownership of tasks using the timeline view. It is easy to read and understand the overview of the activities at a glance, which is important for weekly governance meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is necessary to manually adjust the activities due to the high dependencies involved in the process flow. This is because the process flow logic is not easy to implement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Planning activities were previously done using trackers that were not easy to read. Asana helped me better plan activities and made it easy to understand the ownership of tasks for groups.

Helps Me Stay Organized and On Top of Tasks Daily

  • February 14, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana has been an essential tool for keeping me organized. The setup was quick and straightforward, allowing me to start organizing tasks and projects without much effort. I didn’t need a long onboarding process, the layout is intuitive and I quickly understood how to create projects, assign tasks and set deadlines. One feature I find especially useful is the 100+ free integrations that come with the Personal plan. It integrates smoothly with apps like Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and Slack, which saves me time and keeps everything synchronized across the tools I use every day. I’ve connected my Google Calendar and Gmail and it has made tracking tasks and staying on top of deadlines much easier. I also use Asana for basic project collaboration, where tasks can be shared, updated and tracked in one place. This helps reduce confusion and ensures everyone involved knows what needs to be done and by when. I use Asana almost daily to manage my tasks and monitor project progress. It has become an integral part of my routine, helping me stay on top of deadlines and manage my tasks efficiently. I can quickly add new tasks, assign them and track their status in one place. The only downside is that while Asana offers helpful documentation and community forums, the customer support options on the free plan are limited. Most of the time I don’t need direct support, but when I did look for assistance, I had to rely on self-service resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Personal plan provides basic task management, but several features are limited or unavailable. For example, features like timeline view, advanced reporting, automation and custom workflows are locked behind the paid plans. These limitations can be frustrating when managing more complex tasks or projects. Additionally, while the Admin Console is available, it doesn't provide much functionality on the free plan. Many settings within the console prompt you to upgrade, which can be inconvenient when you want more control over the workspace. While the free plan is sufficient for personal use or simple projects, it becomes clear that for larger teams or more advanced features, an upgrade would be needed to unlock the full potential of Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before using Asana, I struggled to keep track of tasks and deadlines across multiple apps and tools. I often found myself juggling between emails, sticky notes and calendar reminders, which led to missed deadlines and a lot of mental clutter. Since I started using Asana, it has significantly streamlined my workflow. I can now create tasks, set deadlines and track my progress all in one place. The free plan’s integration with Google Calendar and Gmail has been especially useful for staying on top of things, tasks and meetings sync automatically, saving me time and keeping everything organized. Asana has reduced my stress around missed deadlines and helped me stay focused on priorities. The ability to assign tasks and track them in real time has made managing both personal and small collaborative projects much more efficient. I no longer need to rely on multiple tools to get things done.

Streamlined Project Management with Asana, But Needs Template Improvements

  • February 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like Assign tasks, due dates, and custom fields in Asana. We use custom fields and due dates to drive automations like rules. The initial setup of Asana was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Project templates could be improved by adding the ability to use variables. I would also like the ability to add people to roles after the project is already created, but it currently only works using a template.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana for project management, helping with calendar planning, assigning tasks, due dates, and using custom fields to drive automations. These features streamline organizing projects and improve efficiency.

Comprehensive Project Management with Cross-Linking Excellence

  • February 12, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the cross-linking features in Asana. It helps to have things in several spots for going about certain projects. Drilling down on the details and seeing a bird's eye view of everything is helpful. Asana can give users all different ways to organize their work and make rules work best for their work style. Once we got the hang of it, using Asana was a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
Seeing comments that have been edited is a challenge for us when using Asana as a documentation tool. If an employee changes something, it's hard to keep them accountable for the information they already sent. Also, the initial setup of Asana was overwhelming and took a while to figure out how we wanted our organizational projects structured. But once we got the hang of it, it was a breeze.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana for keeping track of changing deadlines and communicating about priorities. The cross-linking features help ensure nothing falls through the cracks, and it offers flexible organization to match different work styles.
