Organization is key
What do you like best about the product?
Having the option to set different projects with different formats, as we use Asana for all of our company areas. Our tasks tend to be quite different depending on the area and Asana caters to all our needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish some things were more customizable, but definitely not a deal breaker. I also think that when you create a task it should open on the right side so you can start adding info right away. Whwn I'm on a big project with several tasks I usually have to look for the new empty task instead of just typing away.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Asana to improve the communication between all areas of our company, and also as a way of documenting the developing processes and keeping the information in hand. Being able to easily search for information has saved us a lot of time!
UI could be more interactive

Its simplicity and user-friendly working.
What do you dislike about the product?
IT should have more fields for the users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me to manage my leads and helps me to convert leads into projects.
Great Task,Project and Time Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has very clean and modern user interface. We are able to separate clients different projects and aslo able to customize them differently. Team collaboration is well designed and we able to share task very well among team members using this application.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana has been powerful application in management of our projects. We have no dislike so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana was very easy to implement. Their pricing is very competitive . Technical support has been helpful since implementation and are available on major online platforms.

What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing is not very competitive specially in the local market here where everyone is tied with Microsoft products which mostly comes included in O365 now with very low pricing if not free.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most of project planning tools are hard to use and understand and indeed requires a learning curve which is not the case with asana , also I like how the collaboration is implemented

I like Asana because it gives me a variety of ways to view and manage my projects and tasks.
On Kanban boards, lists, calendars, portfolios, workloads, and schedules, I can work on my tasks.
My Projects can be configured as updatable and customizable dashboards.
I can transfer Google Docs, PDF and JPG files between team members.

The mobile app has some limitations and works best on a full computer screen.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is useful because it gives us a clear picture of where we are with our projects.
I am able to automate workflows, repetitive operations and processes thanks to it.
Teams can coordinate schedules and stay informed of any changes or developments without exchanging emails using the calendar view.

Great and versatile - with a learning curve
What do you like best about the product?
Super versatile platform for assigning and tracking tasks or projects. Notification to other team members is super simple too.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve to ensure that you're seeing the right tasks, etc. also it's frustrating that your "tasks" are only those assigned to you now, with no option for creating multiple subsequent assignees to coordinate a team project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me work within a remote company with ample room to monitor tasks, assign tasks, and complete on schedule
Too prone to monetize
What do you like best about the product?
I use Asana every day for several hours. Asana is almost my company's internal homepage. Asana is robustly designed, with a very well-thought UX. Good and well-documented API, for those interested in custom reports
What do you dislike about the product?
In the balance between long-term value-added goals, on one hand, s and short-term monetization, Asana is too biased toward making money: little meaningful development, weird membership plans, a partnership with Harvest, that is the most expensive and rude time-keeping platform;
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is a quick way to assign and follow assigned tasks, and a decent way to visualize the progress of a project. And has a decent "guest" membership that is very useful to us.
Easy to use software for project management
What do you like best about the product?
It's a very simple and convenient software. I used it to handle marketing ops at my firm, and i could just track what projects we were working on. Delegation also becomes easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to be honest. The software is pretty neat and comprehensive. It has great utility and the kanban boards are pretty awesome. I don't see any scope of improvement.

Asana is typically ideal for those businesses which have a pretty tight schedule in terms of the work they want to get done and need a software to keep a track of every single task.

First-hand user requires more time to adopt it.

Organize not just the daily task, but also can backup the documentation with the internal search functions. It really helps me save time to find docs.
Asana for Research Task Management
What do you like best about the product?
The wide variety of modes and functionalities, including which tasks you want to show or not (you can arrange this by date/name, etc) and the ability to mark it as complete and have it automatically moved to another "file". Overall, a great task management platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana can be quite complicated to use in the beginning. The layout is polluted and confusing, full of different parts and modes, which you can't hide. However, once you've been using it for a while, it gets easier. Glitches are also somewhat common.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Asana to manage different research tasks that our team has to complete. It also allows us to track automatically which team member completed which task and mark it on a separate google doc.
