Asana is a great PM tool that needs to upgrade its data visualization features.

Tricky but Worth the Effort!
What do you like best about the product?
If you take the time to learn all the features in Asana, it can solve a multitude of problems and keep a remote team on task with various projects across many differnt departments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the best features/functions of the system take a lot of time to build and a lot of effort to understand. It's been a challenge for me to learn even using the wiki/faq/kb but once I've mastered creating something it has been a very useful tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The cross-communication between departments when we are addressing a task that someone from another team needs to do/assist with or a project that requires multiple teams in a remote setting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try a demo first and really make sure you learn the features before you roll it out.

I was learning project management and it helped me set reminders and plan the progress in an easier manner.
Honestly for me it is just additional added work

I find it more time consuming to upload documents, add right people; I also don't find it much phone friendly

Nothing honestly just have to use it; i would rather just email the document to people

Asana now act as a pretty good competitor of JIRA. I can do the same thing that I do in JIRA with Asana.

I think Asana still needs to go a long way. Bug tracking and logging is one thing which is very annoying with Asana

Asana is an alternative to JIRA that makes Project management and tracking easy.

What do you like best about the product?
The calendar feature is very useful when working on several projects at once. You can use the calendar to review the entire month. This is essential in any company where many teams produce products and rely on others. The process of creating and describing the task is quite simple in a few steps we can create tasks and assign selected members to them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like asana that I can't add color to any custom fields or anywhere else. Asana offers so many customization options that it's hard not to be able to add colors. I think it would increase the appeal of this platform!

Asana has helped me gain experience in project management. It allows you to schedule and manage tasks. It has helped me plan a variety of projects.

Best part is it is accessible on any platform web & mobile, has helped a lot in improving the management skills and tracking the resources to their best efficacy. Just simple to use & makes life a lot easier & lets you focus on more productive things in life.

There is nothing that I dislike so far. Everything thing is beyond expectation or it just suits the things that I need for my daily operations in my day-to-day life.

Helps me manage the resources in a central place, helps in coordinating between the same team as well as different teams & helps in increasing the productivity overall.

If you are a manager of any sort & are tired of the tools you are currently using... switch to Asana ASAP!

Looking at previous tasks takes time and organizing it.

Collaboration makes it easy to collaborate tasks with my colleagues because Asana clearly shows a progress of a task.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You definitely must try Asana. Its a complete collaboration platform package. You have you project management,task management. Its the same thing with other apps out there but this one is also cheaper

What do you like best about the product?
What I like about Asana is that it allowed me to manage either my personal or work related projects. It allowed me create custom design or layout based on my preference and set deadlines and even people to help you with the projects I'm working on. You can easily sort and organized tasks and identify on going and finished projects which help me stay on track
What do you dislike about the product?
Since that I am only using Asana in a free version, I only get limited access to other features. Their premium account is a bit expensive for me at the moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to write every ideas and later organize and sort them based on their category is very helpful and Asana helps me with that. Also, Asana helps me track any project I have with my client so I don't miss any important deadline.
