A digital tool for workflow and project management with easy collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
The feature I love most is that we can customize the tool according to the needs of the user. The alerts and notifications can be customized s well to remind us of the tasks, deadlines, and important works related to the project. The creation of tasks and assigning them to any teammate is quite easy as it allows them to operate this platform from any platform whether it is a web version or mobile version. Also, it integrates with the other tools as well to make it more impactful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Whenever you have lots of projects at the same time, it is very difficult to navigate them altogether. The management of notification, in this case, is very irritating as there is no priority-based system available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Basically, this platform is used for keeping everyone in and out of the team. Especially, about the past and ongoing projects, it allows about the current progress, tasks/sub-tasks, or even updates about the integration or collaboration.

easy to navigate and see where the bulk of the remaining work is.

i wish we could export different column types on a project or task without having to export all the data on the board.

What do you like best about the product?
I never miss track for my project and it is simple to create a task and to my team and get a real-time update from a teammate
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really it was easy to get on board and easy to support from a team but paid feature as expensive compared to other tools
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it will help to avoid unnecessary communication and we can discuss the only task, bug fixing, and many more as well.
My base for project management, even If I use others This one I use for Myself and smaller projects

It is simple, keeps everything organized, I keep lots of different projects, with different teams, all in one place and organized with all the info, its my HQ to work from

Some nicer features are paid, and can be quite expensive for a bigger team, but it manages every type of project that I can think of, visuals are quite simple and some teams have preferred other tools

organizing my projects, connecting with everything I have. I always loved keeping control and times for tasks, I can chat on it and keep focused conversations, and well the integrations

you can create milestones, dependencies, upload relevant documents and give share with team members

I'm unable to create different folders for the documents I upload therefore I find it hard to organize the documents

we want to have a centralized space to update status for our projects and our company went with Asana.

What do you like best about the product?
The application is user friendly and also there are many ways to get in touch with the work we have assigned and completed in a company or small organization by creating groups and scheduling tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no time tracking feature. As this is a project management software which focusses on management but there is no time tracking available in the software. It also requires some experience to get to know the environment of the software better .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I was working in a startup there were less employees. So we were not having a person whom we take to track the projects. But using this software, no human being is required to track and manage the project or project related tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If any company needs a tool to handle the project or tasks, Asana is a very good software

Notifying every time is so much distracting.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to add projects to the system and mark steps as being completed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there are a few too many steps to using Asana. It's not as straightforward as Trello.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been able to submit many articles to clients that use Asana. It's also a helpful way for me to organize and track work.
Much better workflow than legacy project management tools
What do you like best about the product?
It helps me manage all types of tasks, not just tasks that fit into a spreadsheet format.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is another inbox that I need to check every day. Not sure if this is really a bad thing because it keeps a lot of clutter from my email inbox. But there are days when Asana is easy to ignore and then I miss an important task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a Product Manager at a SaaS startup. My team of 10 has many, many tasks to accomplish with most of them having dependencies on others. Not sure how we could be this efficient without Asana.
