Excellent solution for strategy and project management
What do you like best about the product?
Automation is the best feature. I can assign a task to anyone, get an update, and set the trigger time ahead of schedule. I like that it gives us the flexibility to customize while giving us the opportunity to create project spreadsheet templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the large number of email notifications you receive as a result of setting up alerts can be distracting and overwhelm your inboxes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company uses Asana as a project management and collaboration tool, including traffic management, file storage and versioning, communication, and finance.
Awwesome project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is the best project management tool. I have used asana to manage multiple projects based on customer requests and I really found it awesome. I was able to assign, manage tasks as per my expectations and my customer was able to see the updates on real-time basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have used asana for a few of the projects on customer request, as they were managing all the projects over there. I have not found anything which I did not like but I realize it is the good software from the one we are using on daily basis
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to manage multiple projects on asana. I was able to create tasks, assign tasks and track them on a real-time basis. Moreover, I have added my team to the project and I was able to track every single task very easily
Amazing Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
So much. A sampling of my favorite things: Ease of cross-team collaboration, keeping track of all tasks and when they're due, the flexibility of projects (e.g., I can use Asana projects to plan an event, prep for a meeting, or plan and track a complex project), and the intuitive and pretty design. I also love that I can prioritize daily/weekly tasks in My Tasks, and that I can stay apprised of project status through Inbox.
What do you dislike about the product?
That at our subscription level we don't have access to workload, portfolio, and goals. We're a small nonprofit, so the bigger pricetag doesn't work for us even though the functionality would really help our team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems we're solving: Missed communication due to using too many comms channels, dropping the ball, not following up with partners, poor workload management due to lack of understanding of how much each of us is actually working on.
Benefits we've realized: Clear communication, accomplishing projects in a timely fashion, knowing where bottlenecks and hurtles are.

Staying Connected with Asana
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the high level visibility Asana allows. I can view my workload within all of my active projects through Portfolios. Compared to its competitors, Asana is easier to navigate and resulted in a smaller learning curve.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of using Asana is it doesn't allow you to customize your view on the homepage. I would like to add notes to the projects
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have more productive 1:1 meetings due to Asana. I am able to share project updates in a consistent format. I am also more productive because I can prioritize my tasks by due date and I have built in reminders. I don’t have reminders on paper and it can result in a missed deadline.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend having a change management plan in place if you are rolling out Asana company wide. The tool itself is easy to use, but to ensure adoption, you will need to identify the quick wins in your organization.

What do you dislike about the product?
A lot to learn. However, when you become more familiar with the product and capabilities it makes sense.
Some advanced training and walkthroughs based on current workflows and business setup will really help users take Asana to the next level and likely upgrade.

What do you like best about the product?
It gives basic administration of everyday undertakings, an extraordinary teaming up on things, and a simple technique to tag and appoint. It's great for both a self-task rundown or a group dealing with a venture together. The new group's usefulness was a tremendous advance forward for them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I try to avoid that firmness with what tasks' identity is relegated to. There's not exactly a simple fast method for showing individuals need or where a specific job sits in your line.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is extraordinary for more modest business, most likely not prepared for big business yet. However, I'm confident that they'll develop out a portion of their elements to prepare sure that they are for big business soon.
Easy to pick up with huge potential to customize.

Some of the integration with other apps, such as harvest, have had some issues.
