What do you like best about the product?
It is a wonderful software where we will be informed about the deadlines of our work, the tasks pending, and who need to perform which task which I find extremely useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free version is just providing 15 members, which should at least be increased to 30. If the time tracking is possible to bring in Asana it would be more helpful in assessing the time spent by members.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During covid, it was difficult for us to manage our tasks properly, Asana had made it possible for us to work and collaborate together as a team. which indeed increased our efficiency.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a wonderful platform to collaborate as a team and complete your task with high efficiency, Please go for it!

    Financial Services

Get a 360 degree view of your project and people

  • June 17, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana's intelligent interface helps me break down projects based on timeline and people so I can quickly identify the bottlenecks in my work process to solve the problem and get my project on track faster. Its automation feature is also a life saver. I can avoid micromanaging things, and my team also has a clearer view of where the project is going.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana tried to put everything accessible from the mobile app. Which makes it a bit clumsy. I think they should spend more time to come with an option to let us customize what we want to see in the mobile app
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to use excel to manage my projects. It offers collaboration from team members but soon becomes unmanageable as our client number grows. Asana made all these go away by streamlining our workflow. Email notifications get in the way but nothing proper filtering can't fix.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you work for an organization where you need to monitor new projects constantly, then Asana could be a great choice. But for simpler workflows, Asana might feel a bit costly. Asana's billing doesn't offer much freedom when customizing your team size either.

Asana most helpful for project management

  • June 16, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The calendar visibility and functionality are excellent. It shows you deadlines and keeps you on track to complete what you set out to do. It allows you to view the tasks in multiple ways, which is excellent. The reminders and home views help with task management.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have the option to alter the order of tasks. It is difficult to view the task description without clicking a "load more" button. Apart from those, I am pretty satisfied with Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Delegating tasks to coworkers via Asana eliminates the communication barriers typically associated with this. Asana has helped us to notice a greater communication rate. It is accessible to all who have access to it. This creates a sense that there is an emergency and that you are responsible for completing the items.

Great tool for managing tasks and keeping teams aligned

  • June 16, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
In addition to task allocation and progress tracking, I really like the different project views like list, board, and timeline, which make it easier to visualise work depending on the team’s needs. The ability to assign ownership, set deadlines, and track updates in one place has improved collaboration and transparency across teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the number of workflow options and task stages can make it slightly confusing to quickly understand the current stage of a project. Having more simplified or standardised workflow stages for projects could make tracking progress easier and improve overall usability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Crisp tracking of work in the organization and ease of allocating the project to teams and members. Provides a great helping hand in project reviews. Keep up the good product

Seamless project management

  • June 15, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is an excellent software for the overall management of projects. It's intuitive and setting up your board is seamless, helping you get started right away. The dashboard for Asana has all the tools you'll need to access when working on projects. You can create more than one project template whether you're working on multiple simultaneously or making a new one without deleting a completed project. For the projects that you create, Asana allows you to customize how you want them built. You can start a blank project from scratch, use a template from the library, or import your spreadsheet from another software. You can make your project public to all board members or private, making it only available to the project members you've invited. By default, Asana has three lists for your board: to do, doing, and complete. You can use these lists to add tasks, assign members who are in charge of completing them, and add a deadline with the help of your calendar. Asana permits you to change how you want the project to look, where you have the liberty to keep the default list view or change it to a board, timeline, or calendar. You can add tasks and due dates to any of the formats that you choose. You can then invite your teammates to collaborate and stay in sync. You can automate your workflow and track your team's progress.

While working on projects, you can seamlessly move any task from any of the lists to make updates to their status and how close they are to completion before the deadline. If you're in multiple projects, Asana does an excellent job of showing you a comprehensive list of upcoming tasks, overdue tasks, and completed tasks in all of the projects you're contributing to. You can communicate with other members through the chat, share files and images, and stay on the same page while you work on individual or collaborative tasks.

Asana has a built-in reporting feature where you can see the statistics for the completed tasks, incomplete tasks, tasks completed in the current month, and overdue ones. You can extract this into a PDF for sharing, which can come in handy for emails. You can create portfolios for your team to showcase all the projects you've completed and how far the ones in progress have progressed. Asana enables you to create goals for your team besides projects that you can work towards. You can create a progress bar up to 100%, where you can update all the sub-goals when they're complete.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Asana is excellent for project management, the other features for creating reports, goals, and portfolios aren't very user-friendly. The lack of tutorials can make it challenging for beginners and people who haven't ventured into trying anything besides the project management tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business problem Asana helps us solve is that project management, productivity, and staying on track with our tasks without missing deadlines. We can remain organized and work on our projects with excellent communication all around thanks to Asana's notifications that cannot go unread. Even when there are multiple tasks to do, you can remove any ambiguity and know what to do by attaching images, files, or writing sub-notes for the tasks to provide more detail. While some tasks require a higher priority than the rest, you can add priority levels and deadlines to them, and Asana will position the tasks in the list accordingly. When multiple tasks are being assigned to us for projects, daily work, or requested client services, Asana helps me manage them all and assign members to do them. This greatly removes the stress of having to complete tasks within the deadline as there will be no confusion about who's undertaking which task. We can also share files seamlessly that are relevant to the project or specific tasks when collaborating. Asana can also be integrated with many other applications such as Zoom for having a single windowed work interface.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you and your team are looking for good project and task management software, Asana is the best you can get for free. It's cross-platform and accessible on any device for managing tasks and staying on the same page as the rest of your team.
