Efficient Collaboration Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is an Efficient solution for remote communication and project management in a hybrid work environment. The platform facilitates team collaboration and helps team members organize their work and track the project's progress. Also, Asana has seamless integrations with various productivity tools, like Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform requires some experience with project management applications and cloud-based technologies. The main dashboard user interface is a bit overwhelming for novice users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana strengthens communications between team members and helps us achieve our business goals in time, follow the project's timeline, and focus on deliverables. It keeps us on the same page when working collaboratively online via a shared dashboard. It's efficient in tracking project progress, managing teams and tasks, and setting up success criteria and shared KPIs.

Consider the official learning resources like the onboarding tips and use cases.
Asana is my brain's OS
What do you like best about the product?
Love how flexible Asana is and that I can set it up the way my brain works. Also love that parent/sub-task features - very helpful for task templates that need to be automated and repeated. I like that I can add the same task to multiple projects and I like that I can view my projects as a board/list/calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
If a project I'm working on (with assigned tasks and due dates) gets cancelled, I'm not able to cleanly archive the project and remove those tasks from My Tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana as the repository for all of my tasks - no matter how they become my tasks (email, Slack, manually entering them after a conversation, project planning). It frees up my brain from constantly having to remember what I have on my plate and what I need to work on next.

What do you like best about the product?
As I am using Asana since 1 plus year I like the function where I can assign tasks direct with my co worker and seniors.
Also I can add the date and I can create sub task also.

Asana is good but if I have many sub task in main task I have to tap on load more task which not great, and also after working on task If I go back I have start again from top tasks, Asana not puts me where I just come back which is so time taking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is solving my daily task and work routine before Asana I was not managing my time very effectively but now with Asana I am very much optimize and It also increase my work capability.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If anyone is struggling to track daily routine or facing issues with managing their task then Asana is great tool for them.

No backlog & market well to defeat JIRA.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using it to organize my project, to-do list, and checklist. It is very easy to create tasks from your email.
However, it should be nice to manage Sprints, Backlog & the Agile model as well; honestly, I wish to use and recommend this as a professional tool in my organization.
I have used this for test purposes and to refer my company management for using it for organization but didn't find above mentioned things.

User intuitive and clean UI. Frequent updates.

Asana is great. I dislike the overhead of project management. But this is true for any tool.

Enterprise grade and lots of functionality. Great learning center too. Great integrations with slack.

Corresponding with people was a bit limiting. Also wasn't able to easily add screenshots and such.

Alerting me when tickets are submitted for me to do work. Helps me keep track of what I have done and what's left to do.
