Recommendations to others considering the product:
Onboarding and efficient usage took some time. We accelerated this by bringing in someone to help with setup, training and transition/upskilling our team which paid huge benefits.
Better than trello
What do you like best about the product?
Because is more organized than Trello. Each tool has its advantages but Asana si more for organazing your team and they work. Because maybe a task to be done it needs more than only one task and one person. So in Asana you could have one task and inside it could be multiple tasks with different owners.
What do you dislike about the product?
I`m trying to think of what I don't like but nothing comes up. I love this tool so much and I use it every day for my work and my projects. You won't regret it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem that Asana is solving is that you could work with your team on one task and you can share other tasks with multiple owners. You can't do that in other tools.
Very helpful in organizing the work of our team

In Asana, your work is organized in a shared workspace, making teamwork easier. Asana can allow you to work in parallel to manage projects more efficiently and collaborate with others. It is intuitive and flexible, as well as fully functional .The biggest plus for us are the alerting options we use when working on large projects and delegating tasks
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana's app for mobile is the only thing I dislike.

A powerhouse project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is really flexible to how your team works. We are easily able to view tasks as a kanban board or a list view. I love that level of detail that I'm able to add and the ability to link to asana tickets.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some features that I wish were available on the plan we use. When we have outside team members submit a request, there's no way to auto-assign them to someone. This leads to missed requests because I don't otherwise get a notification.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana keeps my team organized with all the separate initiatives that we have in-flight. It's the single source of truth for our workload and helps us evaluate when we can take on new projects.
FREE can work!
What do you like best about the product?
Effective project management software that you can get by with using the free version.
Massive personality behind the little quirks that make it a joy to complete small and big tasks.
Massive personality behind the little quirks that make it a joy to complete small and big tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
They know what they are doing when it comes to paid subscriptions. The Premium version gives you some of the powerful features but you'll have to upgrade to Business for a few of the less powerful but more useful features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have an issue with accountable and actionable communication. Asana makes it easy to communicate across different departments and remember that you actually communicated. We use it to specifically connect our returns and warehouse teams with out Customer Service team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure that if/when you demo you specifically differentiate between which features are part of which paid plan!
Asana was a friendly project management tool

The interface is very nice and most features can be customized
What do you dislike about the product?
Subscription fees collection is fixed by the system and no way to pause it or to make it before time,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Documents control, timelines tracking, cases and filing
Keep It Simple...Seriously
What do you like best about the product?
I know I'm probably in the minority here but we passed on Asana as our PM software. It has some robust features like workflow automation and dynamic reporting but the learning curve is too steep for a lot of our users.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've been in project management for over 20 years and the job is difficult enough without adding a complex piece of software where you can't see the forest for the trees. What I mean by that is I know what I'm doing but there are others and stakeholders that don't. I would rather keep it simple, I don't need a project to learn software so I can run a project on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In actuality Asana created more issues than it solved. We went with more intuitive software like Trello and Planner. They do what we need without the burdon of additional training cost and time.
Great productivity and organization tool
What do you like best about the product?
Asana might seem intimidating to use at first but there are ample trainings available and on top of that, they have some awesome templates that help you find the right use case for whatever your role is. Obviously, it's primarily a project management tool, but I work in sales and they have a great pipeline template that helps keep track of deals all the way through their lifecycle. After spending some time with it, you pick up the ropes quickly and it becomes a powerful tool. We switched from a different platform called Trello, over to Asana, and one of the advantages I've noticed is the ability to use different formats. Trello was limited to a kanban whereas Asana has several different formats you can use.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you are not using Asana specifically for what it was made for, like project management, it can be a little bit difficult to figure out how to best use it. For example, I work in sales, and at first glance, there does not really seem to be a good use for Asana for things like tracking opportunities. But after some digging, I found out that they have ready-made templates for a variety of things, including sales. So it might take some work, but those use cases exist for all sorts of roles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana primarily helps me stay organized and on track. I'm not forgetting tasks and therefore not missing out on lost time and money. My performance has improved as a result of heightened organization, and I can keep better track of what needs to be done both daily and for long-term projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
While Asana might be intimidating at first, there's a reason it's the industry standard.
