I finally feel organized
What do you like best about the product?
Clean user interface, very easy to pick up and learn. Works great for project managers and deliverable-creators alike. I integrate Clockwork and Everhour. A million times better than Basecamp.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not super conducive with kanban. The need to task things out to individuals still puts you into a waterfall-like structure. Would also like to have subtasks automatically assigned to boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Forecasting. So great to get a clear picture of each person's capacity every day. I definitely feel more productive and can confirm items on my to-do list.
Super easy and simple to navigate

What do you dislike about the product?

Favorite project management tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a simple and intuitive task management tool for teams. It allows us to create projects, add tasks and invite team members to collaborate on them. There are mobile apps available for both Android and iOS devices so you can easily access your tasks from anywhere. The ability to add attachments such as PDF files or images makes it easy to collaborate with others on projects that require more than just text.
What do you dislike about the product?
You cannot prioritize tasks within projects (right now they all appear at the top of each project). This feature could have made it easier to see what needs your attention most urgently when looking at a project overall - right now there is no clear way of doing this beyond.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration - You can add anyone from your team to projects, assign tasks to them, and share information such as documents, files, and images. Integrations - The integrations with other apps make it possible to automatically do certain things.
Pretty Good Team Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite features are the ability to track each project independently and assign roles to each team member based on project scope. I also love the calendar feature that the team has access to, keeps everyone accountable.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to add/delete team members based on project milestones or completion. Once a person's role in a project is finished, then it would be nice to remove that person from the project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana allows project teams that are working in different locations and time zones to stay coordinated. Each person sees the same info and updates at the same time in the same place. No more spreadsheets being passed around, lost emails. etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would definitely recommend using this tool to companies who have multiple projects and teams that are located in different places.
Asana is very user friendly
What do you like best about the product?
It has multiple configurations users can select from.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great to have access controls per task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management for a large team. Helped keep everything organized.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you can afford the paid version, definitely use it!
Amazing work management tool for collaboration!
What do you like best about the product?
Various interfaces to choose from based on different scenarios. The tasks and subtasks features can also help me to list down all my requirements to complete the campaign.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe can have more automation functions so that we can set up more rules and save more time at work. But all good for now!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Work more closely with my team during remote office. I can easily track the current progress for every tasks and campaigns, and let everyone understand their responsibility in the project.
Perfect for my ADHD, multiple locations, and chaos!
What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love this product. I am a nonprofit executive and literally could not function without it. I love the organization, integration with products like Canva and Slack, and the customization each user can do.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly nothing. It's pricy, but worth it because it makes my staff more efficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am diagnosed with ADHD and have troubles focusing and organizing projects. Additionally, we have a team spread across multiple locations (and adding another soon). Asana helps keep everything on track, and everyone looped in.
Asana is the best for project workflows
What do you like best about the product?
I feel like compared to other team workflow applications, Asana was the most complete and had all of the features that I needed to work from beginning to end on a project with my team. It seems to integrate best with G-Suite and can work interchangeably with the application. The best feature for my remote team was the ability to assign tasks to members of the program without having to email them separately. It also allows everyone working on a team to get updates on projects, rather than needing to hold a meeting and discuss updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was a little bit difficult for some of my team members to get the hang of the program because it is so detailed. But that is more of a testament to their program skills than the program. I would like it if it had a feature that may be emailed you upcoming due dates that week or something to that effect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has helped my remote team work on projects together in teams, and we're able to see the progress of the project tasks without having to check in with one another. The best benefit in my opinion is not having to have extra meetings to update one another on project progress, because we can all see what tasks are completed or outstanding in Asana. The best benefit is that it emails all due dates to the user every morning, so you don't have to go into the program to check and see what is due.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My group projects run during the federal fiscal year, and if you are looking for a program that will help plan out projects that need to be completed within a certain time frame, this is the one that does that. Not only does it to the calendar, but the calendar populates based on the tasks that you have assigned.
Asana gets the job done
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part is being able to be in multiple team/project spaces and to see an aggregate of all of the spaces. I also love that I can create templates for different types of tasks - it makes collaborating and making sure we get all of the information we need very seamless. I like that there are multiple view options. I prefer to look at my tasks on a board; another team member prefers the list view. We're both able to consume the information in the way that works best for us without forcing everyone to use it that way. Lastly, being able to drag and drop things is great
Also, dark mode 😍 any tool that has dark mode is a winner in my book

What do you dislike about the product?
I skipped any sort of onboarding and walkthrough, so that's entirely on me, but without it I had a hard time learning how to use Asana to its optimal level. There's so many customizations and options and it took me a while to learn all of that. Again, not necessarily something that Asana is doing wrong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I head our research team and we use it to track requests for research, their status, and to make sure we're doing all necessary follow-up activities after we close a research study. The benefit we realized is mainly more insight into what each person is working on as well as being able to track requests that get brought up but maybe aren't ready to execute. Before we might forget about it but now we just add it to the backlog and update the status/details when we're ready to do that study.
Our marketing team also uses it for their marketing calendar. I have visibility into that but don't actively interact with that project/team.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't skip any sort of training or onboarding like I did. As mentioned, Asana is very powerful so it's helpful to see everything you can do with it.
Asana is great and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
It is simple to get started with what I want to use it for. Virtually zero learning curve and I can go deeper in to the areas that I need to only when I want to.
What do you dislike about the product?
No dislikes, I'm very pleased with the product and will continue to use it to manage my workflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using it to manage my workload where I have several concurrent projects that I need to track. It's a good way for me to manage priorities across projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a fantastic product with a smart team behind it.
