Admin Assistant
What do you like best about the product?
I love how organized it can keep an office of 10 people.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not ran into anything the customer service department can't explain, so I do not have any dislikes at this moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have over 100+ projects in a year. With ten employees and everyone doing a little in each project, we needed something to point out who had done what and when they completed it. Asana lays out a good timeline of when things in a project change. It helps so not multiple people are doing the same thing as someone else because they didn't know if someone did it. The reminders help keep us on track with due dates for our clients.
Great task manager
What do you like best about the product?
Asana was the first, and since then the best, task manager I encountered. It is intuitive, clear, and well organized. Very helpful in both a personal and business context.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times when I can tell Asana is trying to train you to think a certain way rather than act in a way that makes most sense for the user. If user-friendliness improved it would be the best product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task management, group projects, team accountability
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a task manager for group projects, you really can't get better than Asana.
Easy to use project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to break up larger projects into more manageable tasks, and it makes it easier to assign tasks to specific individuals.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like there are too many notifications, but this is a minor thing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps make tasks and responsibilities for projects clear, especially with a team that has members based in different locations.
Asana is great software to use in a multi-level corporation where communication is key.
What do you like best about the product?
For the purpose that my company uses Asana, I appreciate the that we can keep up with the timeline of the tasks that the user submits. This transparency helps me to see where that task is on another team's radar and if they are actively working on it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can only say that I dislike the home page and how it doesn't entirely update. I have plenty of overdue tasks, but they never show up on my actual dashboard. Due to this, I have to write down the task info and follow up without any notification.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem we are solving with Asana is delegating assignments to other co-workers and the communication barrier that comes with these tasks. After our company switched to Asana, we have noticed a higher communication rate since it is visible to everyone with access. It brings a sense of emergency and responsibility for completing those items.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your company has multi-level departments that all collaborate together on tasks, then Asana is a good fit. It has made such a difference in communicating between purchasing and sales departments within our company.
Delegation and collaboration for your team in one place
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can assign tasks to other members of the team and track overall progress of workflow and it has a very clean interface . It also helps you keep track of your own work related tasks in one place which increases focus and helps you meet those deadlines. You don't have to worry about forgetting something if you get into the habit of entering tasks here and setting due dates.
What do you dislike about the product?
I almost didn't know where to start. It's a simple interface but I wish there were suggestions for how to get the most out of it. I also wish there was a way to set reminders for the tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping keep our small team organized and focused on what each person is good at. We can easily delegate, collaborate, and manage overall productivity to ensure maximum output.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you do a walkthrough with your team and set a clear process for how you want to use the task management system so it is used consistently. It won't work well if everyone isn't actively participating.
The easiest way to manage team projects and tasks
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a very great tool for managing your client projects. We can manage the team’s workload and schedule helping by Asana. We can run Asana on mobile and navigate it very easily. Asana's look is very simple and effective. Asana is a complete solution for managing projects and clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need some improvement when we are trying to attach flies
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can map out project plans on a timeline so we can see the relationship between tasks and keep work on track. Asana is an excellent collaboration tool for helping teams manage all kind of tasks.

Asana is excellent app for managing client projects. It is very easy to use. Asana user Interface is very simple and effective.
Good but still in its infancy
What do you like best about the product?
SaaS platform, Easy to use/simplified UI, Animations, Cost effective, Regular updates, Boards, Documentation and support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Needs more work on simple usability features, too simplistic, Better visuals

Keeping track of projects and delegating work, documenting, writing user stories.

Good lightweight management tool
Streamlined communication and projects for us!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana takes big daunting projects and lets me delegate and break them up into specific roles and tasks for everyone involved. We have several remote employees and this makes communication and delegation overall just so much simpler.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana can be weird to manage through the "inbox" section. I have had hiccups finding direct messages, but that is really the only issue I have encountered thus far!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a small team, but 4 of our 6 team members are remote. This can be challenging for a multitude of reasons, but asana makes everything more clear as far as expectations and tasks each person is responsible for. It has been a huge benefit to our team because it makes accountability a lot easier as well as keeping tabs on who has completed what.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the plunge! Asana is worth the money! I was overwhelmed with it at first, but as time has gone on I have fallen in love and couldn't exist without it!
A Good Tool for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Recent improvements to the Admin Console have increased the ease with which you can administer Asana. The use of templates for projects works well, as does the recurring task functionality. Our use of Asana has increased over the last 12 months as we have got a better understanding of its uses.
What do you dislike about the product?
My big dislike was the Admin Console, but that has been rectified. At this time, there isn't anything that I dislike. In terms of things for improvement, I have sometimes found it hard to navigate the help section/files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Asana for all of our projects, both print, digital. We also use it for tasks related to all facets of the organization. It is the central tool for our project management. We have realized better tracking of projects and deadlines, it lso allows our team to see what is on their plate in terms of workload/project tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a good product that is very useful for project management and team collaboration.
Makes Keep Track Much Easier
What do you like best about the product?
Asana allows you to schedule out multiple different tasks and apply due dates and subtasks. You can create different team projects so everyone is able to see where each individual is at in the projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that after a project was completed, it didn't completely disappear. Sometimes we needed to backtrack to see when something was finished or initially assigned and with it completely gone, it made it more difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped us keep long-term projects in order. It held everyone responsible for their own tasks and would send a notification once completed so the next person knew when they were able to start their portion.
