Intuitive, simple yet powerful
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplistic and clean UI and UX of the whole product. I like to use it for mostly to manage all my projects and the powerful dashboard allows me to do so with the portfolio dashbaord.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although I love all the features and products, I'd love to see more of the integrations with development tools such Altassian suit and other which are similar to those.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most important things that I try to use Asana for are bringing transparency and streamlining the day to day work of my team members. The other benefits are avoiding unnecessary meetings when it can be a simple update on a task. So save a lot of time and effort and make everyone's life easy.
Flexible Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Whether you hold a black belt in project management or are just starting your journey toward organization, you will find Asana offers a variety of options to help keep you and your team on the same page, and encourages intuitive communication.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to report here. My only concern is that Asana might forego logical upgrades to its platform in order to avoid stepping on the toes of other integrations, such as Flowsana. While Asana introduces updates frequently, there are a plethora of possibilities that I'd still like to see be fleshed out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing can be complex, especially when coordinating projects across multiple teams with varying deliverables. Using Asana lets us identify priority tasks and use agile strategies toward the completion of our initiatives.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Having used alternatives such as Trello or Asana, I can say that Asana is the most intuitive of the three. However, every use case may differ, so be sure to do your diligence to see what works best for you and your team(s).
One of the best project management tools for my team!
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to manage all my projects (personal, and work) from 1 place, and getting notified on all my devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
the pricing is kinda high. I hope there's a life time deal ^_^

Filling behind deadline maybe?
being bombarded with many deadlines without proper planning.
So, here I can plan everything, and stay ahead.

Asana is the engine behind our team's daily operational success!
What do you like best about the product?
There are a few things that make Asana the tool of choice for us. The first is how easy it is to share tasks across projects, which we use a lot in our line of work. Beyond that, Asana is always adding new features/tweaking the efficiency of features to make them work even better, and everything released seems to have a purposeful use for our team. Finally, it's easy to navigate and keep things organized within Asana.
What do you dislike about the product?
In day-to-day use there honestly isn't much - if anything - I dislike. The system has enough options to change functionality from user to user that if one way of using something doesn't fit, you have another option to make sure the platform works for you and your use case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Asana to solve scheduling problems for both client program delivery and for our team in terms of supporting that delivery. We run all of our program operations from design to delivery through Asana to make sure we don't miss a beat.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're on the fence about Asana vs. another platform, don't be. Choose it and start using it to drive operational success. You won't be disappointed.
Great tool to keep track of all my tasks and for team collaboration within & across departments
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is that you can set up rules to automate the parts of a process that are usually recurring. Also, the board view really helps me get an overview of all the tasks since I am a visual person. With plain text to-do lists, I easily lose track. The possibility to have different projects but then also your personal area in which you can organize your tasks is very helpful. That way, everyone gets to organize their projects as it helps them best. We are all different, so our preferences on how to organize tasks also differ. I find it super tedious to adjust to someone else's way of organizing tasks, but of course, when you work together in a team, you'll have to do that - also on Asana to a certain extent. But there are leeways with the "my tasks" section for example, which is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that there would be more options for the "my tasks" section. For example, it would be great if I could organize all my tasks into projects for myself. Also the possibilities for subtasks are currently a bit limited. I wish I could order subtasks by their due date or apply rules to subtasks. Also, it would be great to define specific positions for tasks. For example, pin tasks at the very top of a specific section as it might include instructions on how to use the boards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A better overview of all the tasks that are still due, how much I have to do in a specific time frame, and just generally to not forget any tasks. Before I used to write down a lot of tasks that came up in meetings or conversations on a piece of paper, which is easily lost. Now I can quickly write it down in the "my tasks" section and later take the time to place it in the project that the task belongs to or fill in more details.
Automation through rules also makes things easier. Certain steps that would have to be done manually over and over again, now are done automatically.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great tool for team collaboration and multi-team tasks management.
Asana Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Conversations and Calendar view. Also assignation of tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Management of internal /external tasks. It is difficult to manage internal tasks which you don't want your customer has access to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
management of projects and separated emails for the tasks
Recommendations to others considering the product:
To use the free 1 month version at the beginning and test it completelly
Asana valuable product
What do you like best about the product?
Asana was key software in my list for my software development projects. This tool helps me to track my work and was easy to use for my team also. With the help of this tool, we distribute our work among us and were helping us to track each and every progress in terms of personal and project.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is a good tool for project management but there is a scope for improvement in terms of the web and desktop version UI and handling the user categorical data like there should be more categories in terms of process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this tool for our project management and as a progress tracker so we frequently use this tool as a whole team activity tracker. We also use this tool for setting our future goals and task for the project.
Project collaboration at it’s finest
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to share and invite teammates to view the same boards and tasks. I like that there are built in reminders for tasks and that it's easy to see who is assigned. Being able work collaboratively on projects is something important for remote teams
What do you dislike about the product?
I do sometimes want the ability to move or create boards an projo, combining different work flows. I may not be aware of how to, but being able to hyper link back to docs instead of drop in long urls in tasks would help. Sometimes it's not always intuitive how a particular style will fit a project
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborative project work and with that, visibility and accountability. This is something that's not always possible with other tools normally used by remoted based teams
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Spend the time with the account rep or in the tutorials. Don't dismiss them as there's a lot of smaller features that are easy to miss
Hands down the best project management tool available for any business size
What do you like best about the product?
Asana gives visibility to every team companywide and allows cross-functional teams to communicate more efficiently. Every task object can have several useful relationships, from related OKRs and KPIs to blocking users that are keeping you from completing a certain task. Different views allow you to configure each project in the most adequate way and allows contributors to work in the way they feel more comfortable. Asana also integrates directly with Zoom and HubSpot, which are part of our tech stack, so it is really easy to work with. They also offer an Ambassadorship program that allows you to showcase your knowledge of Asana and have access to more resources within their community.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much to dislike about Asana. However, I do think that the team could implement better workflow actions. Right now, a lot of standard actions that you would expect from a project management automation tool are pretty crude and most of what needs to be done can only be achieved through an integration called Flowsana. In an ideal world, I'd love to see all Flowsana actions implemented natively onto Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using Asana for two years now across two different organizations. In both organizations, Asana has allowed us to build ticketing systems to control marketing requests and give visibility of our work to other internal stakeholders. On top of that, repeatable project templates have allowed us to operationalize and replicate gtm strategies for new product launches.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Evaluate and compare your tools and how they might/might not be redundant in your tech stack and how it integrates with the rest of it. In our use case, Asana has been great because it excels in its integrations, ease of use and compatibility with the rest of our tech stack. I can't imagine myself working without Asana anymore. As a matter of fact, I started using it personally and used it recently when moving apartments to create a checklist!
