What do you dislike about the product?
When I used the application in 2015 it only used to have desktop application and no phone application. They should have phone application, so that people can access it on the fly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking project deliverables. Easily collaborate within your team to share workload and complete the project deliverables. Track who is doing what deliverables and send reminders when objects are going to yellow or red categories
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a nice project management app and I would recommend it to people.
Great Productivity Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is fantastic at keeping you organized in whatever way works best for you. Everyone has a different way that the stay on task and knocking out their To-Do's and Asana has the flexibility to help anyone stay organized. There are multiple features available for the free version of Asana that it is not necessary that you wait until your manager gets the budget to pay for it, just try out the free version!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only frustrating thing, is something that makes sense, I wish I had access to the paid features, however, I understand why I don't.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I solve my day-to-day productivity issues. It keeps me on track and focused on those action items that are more important so that I am able to prioritize my day.
Do you like Trello? This is the Super Verison!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is basically the beefed-up version of Trello, it's great if you have different people using the program for project management. Its also good to keep track of where projects are heading.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I do not like about it is there is a bit of a learning curve with the program. So if someone has never used Trello or Asana prior, you will want to give some training to understand how the program is used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is really focused on keeping track of current projects our marketing team is working on. This is great for a remote team that we have to communicate different projects we are working on.
The Best App for Managing Teamwork
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to manage teamwork, separating by project and stage of each one, subtasks, dependencies, status, reports, overdue tasks, allows you to have control of everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has a complexity that requires some time to adapt and understand, perhaps a brief training, but once you get to understand it, it is one of the best of its kind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The tracking of team projects allows you to visualize the status of each project and its responsible parties, making the team's productivity much higher.
Asana user review
What do you like best about the product?
I like the best the simplicity of the interface, it affords clear visibility of tasks and it's easier to follow them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure is it actually possible now but I remember that I was not able to join different companies/organizations with the same account (from the same device).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As magazine editorial, we're using Asana mainly for publishing schedules. The main benefits are an organization of each task/project, assigning it for different collaborators and ability of tracking the hole process.
I occasionally use this in my bussiness world
What do you like best about the product?
How different people can get in there on and communicate. I like the feature of seeing other people's calendars.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only issue was getting started, but once I got used to the program it was alright.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The calendar is the only thing I have used on there and it was very beneficial
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a program where all employees can meet, this is the one
Useful planning tool with a simple, modern UI
What do you like best about the product?
Love the simplicity of the tool, it doesn't try to complicate my life any more than it is already (and it actually helps to simplify it). Much more modern UI than Basecamp, with a lot more flexibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anythign offhand that I dislike. Asana has great flexibility for different views, dependencies, and linked items, so you don't have to update the same information multiple times in multiple places. It's a HUGE time-saver for me (compared to basecamp and Microsoft Teams)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team communication and collaboration is much easier with Asana.Love being able to set more than one assignee to a task. Also love being able to see capacity for team members across multiple projects, to get a sense of overall workload.
Love the simplicity!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is simple enough for those looking to keep themselves organized but robust enough for those who need the automation and project management organizational structure.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you prefer Gantt charts or want dependencies to move when predecessor tasks are changed, Asana may leave you feeling frustrated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps with organizing project management across several participating departments. It has replaced Smartsheet for us as well as reduced email.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
there are several options out there. If a business consult with your various departments as the benefit of Asana comes from when multiple departments use the tool.
Asana Awesomeness
What do you like best about the product?
The integration with other apps , such as excel and salesforce. It makes reporting and project management easy! The different portfolios and custom rules make automation great!
What do you dislike about the product?
The constant email forwarding, this can be made easy so that I don't have to change my settings but only get notified If I am mentioned on a task
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tasks and breaking down of internal email. Easy for people to manage their quantitative vs qualitative work
Great for managing big agency tasks, but needs (in my opinion) a ton of UX Updates.
What do you like best about the product?
The versatility of having multiple boxes for past, current, and future tasks being due. The long length task list. Multiple project management based on client is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of human personalization - this task manager feels very robotic when it comes to implementing task names and topics of things being due - making the interface a bit more simple with fewer tabs would be beneficial I think.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Too much navigation - a lot to learn in little time can lead to tasks being overlooked & looked at as if they weren't completed -due to just not knowing how to sign off on a task completely (when apparently I did complete a task and click submit?) Confusing more often than not in my own personal experience with this software, great idea though.
