A powerful project management tool -very full featured
What do you like best about the product?
I like the range of options that are offered. Often tools, in particular project management tools, don't seem to have the features you need. Asana seems to cover almost all the bases. I love that the whole system doesn't solely rely on due dates. You can manage and arrange your tasks, under my tasks, even if no date is assigned to a task
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Asana had better export functionality. I would also like to be able to group projects within a team (either folders, or groups under subcategories/sections). When you have many projects in, it can get challenging to find and organise them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to manage many complex projects and once. Keeping track of all the tasks that need to happen in the project while also tracking and managing all the tasks which I personally need to do and doing both of these things in a joined-up way.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great tool for managing projects, either individually or collaboratively. It's very powerful, not the features on offer don't get in your way, you can use the ones you need and the rest get out of your way

What do you like best about the product?
It is wonderful to be able to manage my client's projects more easily. There is no need for any other tool to keep track of my tasks, and also it's great when it comes to delegation

They do not have an affiliate program. That is unfortunate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Whenever my Graphic Design team makes some designs for my clients, I just have to go to Asana and download them. It doesn't matter when they were created. I can track my tasks and receive notifications when my team has questions or complete any tasks.

There are so many different ways to utilize it which can be a bit overwhelming/intimidating

It has been super helpful for all projects that require collaboration across many functional areas. It helps understand who is responsible for what!

Sometimes the templates are a bit more complicated than needed.

Asana allows us to manage a project properly and will create tickets, share comments, bug fixing, and many more...

Compare to other tools features are fewer and the cost would be higher.

- Accountability will tack tasks which we have done and other comments too... and will download sheet as well which we have done

A simplistic and well designed piece of software every team needs.

The user-friendly UI and easy-to-understand terminology make it easy to introduce to any new employee or friend that could benefit from it.

To be honest, there is not much to dislike. Take a look at their competition, and you will see that for yourself.

General communication in a team environment is usually quite tricky, but with Asana, it never feels like a problem.
When I have spoken to my Team about the ease of use it provides, we all agree that we would be lost without it.

It has a tremendous free-to-use base, and once you use it for a while, you will see the benefits that the complete paid package can offer.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana enchanted me with its user-friendliness. Everything in this solution is clear, and the application works stable on all platforms, which gives the possibility to work on mobile devices. Using Asana makes the process of planning work and sharing responsibilities much more accessible.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest drawback I noticed is the lack of advanced task prioritization capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Asana, we have identified bottlenecks in many of our processes and are now reorganizing how we work.
An extremely organized project management tool for demand control
What do you like best about the product?
The product roadmap templates they provide are amazing and quite useful. For each project, we use this as a starting point. Also, the work can be viewed in many ways and the interface is simple to use. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and found this tool to be quite useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search feature could have been more effective. Sometimes it takes me to write very explicitly until I recognize what I'm trying to express and have to go a step further to designate a task as complete. This phase, I believe, could easily be eliminated because it adds time to the process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Group roles, where I can delegate users to different projects and tasks, I can create a computerized rule, for example, how to automatically move a task somewhere. And I can easily coordinate illustrations to keep track of what's happening with a quick look at the calendar's perspective.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This platform offers a highly productive user experience. With all-in-one tools and features, dashbaord is quite attractive. It sends reminders based on project and task importance. When someone reaches a certain milestone or completes a certain activity, they are rewarded with unicorns. Overall, it's an excellent platform.

What do you like best about the product?
Automation is the best feature. I can assign a task to anyone, get an update, and set the trigger time ahead of schedule. I like that it gives us the flexibility to customize while giving us the opportunity to create project spreadsheet templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the large number of email notifications you receive as a result of setting up alerts can be distracting and overwhelm your inboxes.

Our company uses Asana as a project management and collaboration tool, including traffic management, file storage and versioning, communication, and finance.
