Decent Project Management Software
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is relatively intuitive, especially for those who haven't gone through a tutorial or training. The sidebar is straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana has removed my account from the user list multiple times. When this happens, I no longer get email notifications and miss urgent messages. I'm also then unassigned from all previous tasks and creating a new account won't then sync back to the first account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping everything organized by project when simultaneous projects are occurring has been helpful. Asana does a better job with visual layout than a few other project management softwares.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you keep track of user limits and potential booting of users for whatever reason. This can potentially impact the work significantly, especially during urgent periods. And if it does happen, someone should ideally help go back and reassign all previous tasks.
Great way to organize tasks
What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely loved the calendar feature. We collaborated solely on it with multiple cross-functional teams to ensure that marketing materials were produced on time. It's so easy to create a task, describe it, assign it to the owner of the task. With the calendar, you can also view a full picture of how your month is going to look like. I think it's a must for any organization that has multiple teams working on producing things and depending on each other.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had a very enjoyable experience with Asana; everything was really great. I only would have wanted it to have a way to prioritize and mark specific features in my chaos ideas board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped to solve collaboration between teams and communication problems across teams. Helped to better plan things and ensured that nothing was missed.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is pretty simple to learn and use, but it can also be a really specific and customizable tool based on your teams and how your teams work.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a bit of a learning curve, but once your team(s) get used to collaborating and working in it, it's SO impactful! The time tracking abilities in it aren't great, but not bad either.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were managing too many projects and needed a better hand-off process. Asana solved that for us!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think Asana can meet the needs of almost any type or size of organization. The only types of teams I might not recommend it for are engineers and developers just because I know there are other tools out there more specifically built for that need and industry.

I've been looking for a tool that would help me organize my projects and tasks. Asana is a great tool for just that. It's a digital task management system that allows you to organize your projects and tasks all in one place. It's easy-to-use, has a lot of great features, and allows you to collaborate with your team members on projects. What's more, you can sync it with your Google Calendar, Dropbox, Outlook, and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was more affordable and that some of its paid features were free.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana, thanks to its functionality, allows me to control and plan various projects. Thanks to the possibility of integration with file-sharing platforms such as Dropbox, I can easily share files with team members. The application's interface allows managing time in a very efficient way. Google Calendar can be integrated with the application as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I haven't found any significant bugs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working with a team is much easier using this tool. Its user-friendly interface allows users to quickly determine the work's objectives, functions, and restrictions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Team members with defined goals are more efficient. If the plans are clearly defined in Asana, the entire team will work toward achieving them. Don't hesitate to set your goal. Utilize Asana as soon as possible to make working together easier.
Good, but missing important project management features.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it allows the team to collaborate while tracking their tasks. Also, that it integrates with Instagantt which makes up for some of the project management features that are missing from Asana. It also offers other app integrations with Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
While it has a 'timeline' similar to a Gantt chart, it does not show the critical path or automatically changes the date of tasks according to their dependencies or sub-tasks. Also, it does not allow us to manage resources or integrate with Microsoft tasks.

We have been able to collaborate on projects more seamlessly and manage tasks.
