Great for a growing team!
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to collaborate with my team, multiple project view options, dependencies allow for approval processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that you have to purchase bundles of seats when you run out. I want to add them one by one as we grow and not ten at a time. Some of the functions of dependencies are great, but the ability to customize workflows for assignments and processes would be beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration via email can be so chaotic. Asana allows our team to have a single source of truth for projects, events, programs, and requests. We used to use a google slide deck to update our team on different activities. Asana enables team members to log in anytime, anywhere, to find all of the information they need. With international team members working opposite hours, that means they can keep working without having to wait until the next workday for an answer.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is an excellent project management and collaboration tool for a growing team! We've scaled from 5-10 users to 40+ in the last year, and it continues to be a valuable tool to keep us on track!
The great world of its own creation by Asana.

What do you dislike about the product?
I'm just amused that I have no set backs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making it our daily task management tool and involving all team members to work towards a similar target.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It has been there for years. There is no excuse as to not use it for anything to do with projects and tasks.
Tracking and organizing projects is easier and more professional.
What do you like best about the product?
One of the things I like about Asana is how easy to use its task list, it is very modern and practical, you can list all kinds of tasks you can think of and then do them, you can set an alarm or reminder which will help you to be more productive and keep in mind all the projects you might forget, another feature is its excellent compatibility with other operating systems and electronic devices, it is a very convenient program.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software has not let me down in any way, it has fulfilled everything I needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has helped me and the team I work with to be more efficient and productive workers. Asana supports us with a variety of state-of-the-art and very practical functions which makes our understanding, knowledge and skills much better at work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a software you can rely on.
Task organization at its finest
What do you like best about the product?
I've used various systems to organize my task list and keep projects in order: Salesforce, Google Calendar, and more. But Asana is the best I've used at managing my work to increase my productivity and my team's productivity. A large part of this is the ability to make task and project templates which I can repeatedly use instead of recreating a project with 20 tasks that each have five subtasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I want Asana to give me alerts and reminders. I can look at my task list and calendar, but I'm not in Asana all day, so it would be nice to have the option to have it pop up when I have time-sensitive events that need to begin. A lack of reminders doesn't stop me from working, but it would be preferable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team used to assign tasks using Excel Spreadsheets. That is not an ideal way to track progress and assign tasks. Asana helps us save hours each week by helping us see what we need to do and when in a friendly and comfortable user interface. I can view my tasks in each project differently, from a list to a calendar or a kanban priority board, and each of these is useful for different reasons in different projects.
ASANA..... THE REAL MASTER FOR TASK AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend Asana as a great platform for time tracking, task and project management.
Couldn't work without it
What do you like best about the product?
Excellent for task-heavy teams like us with guests that need to see only specific tasks on specific projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The webhooks that are available via Zapier, Integromat, and Automate.io lack some key data.
This makes our workflows significantly complex.
Asana offers some automation features in the app called Rules but they are quite basic and they don't cover our needs.

More frustrating than dealing with your cable company -- Deceptive pricing & poor onboarding
What do you like best about the product?
So far it's been a good project management tool for our organization
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing is extremely deceptive. We worked with an account rep before signing a 2 year contract for Asana Business. We told the account rep that we needed 60 users, but we might need to add more in the future. A month later, when we went to add 5 more users, she said, "No sorry, you can only add in blocks of 10 users." This is mentioned nowhere in our contract. It's mentioned nowhere on Asana's pricing page. The Asana T&Cs make vague references to "pricing tiers" but they also say the tiers will be shown on the order form -- which they weren't. When it takes a few clicks and less than 30 seconds to add a new user to a software program, there's no logical reason why Asana would force you to add users in blocks of 10 (or they told us the blocks increase to 25 users once you get beyond 100 total users!). It's downright deceptive that they don't disclose this during the sales process or anywhere on the contract or pricing page.
Additionally, when we were onboarding, Asana refused to allow us to schedule an onboarding call with their team until after our contract went into effect. That's right -- we had already signed the contract. But they wanted us to wait for an extra week to even be able to *schedule* a call with their team.
Quite simply, they are a pain to do business with. It's really a shame that they operate their organization in this way, because they have a good product. But with all of Asana's fine-print "gotchas", working with them is more frustrating than dealing with a cable company.

Get everything in writing.
Perfect project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is relatively easy to understand and mostly gets many features in the free version, I have used asana for the last few years, and I'm feeling good having such a tool for my internal project management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Privacy is not that good with a free plan, so I need to upgrade from a free to a paid plan for some projects. add more security-based feature in free plan as well
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I found that with asana, many project-related issues like assigned tasks give deadlines flow, and status for each job easily managed.

Highly recommended to all small scale company
Asana Explanation - Multi-collaboration Platform that keeping groups and an organization together
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a beneficial software to have, particularly when your staff has gone entirely remote recently. Asana is my favorite project management tool since it allows me to organize work and tasks over several teams or departments. Asana tracks who is accountable for every job and clearly defines the phases of an assignment and the deadlines for each step.
Collaboration on several tasks is made possible by using just one platform, and it interacts with a lot of additional items to make it even more helpful. Products such as Discord, Hub, and Firefox are examples.
Working with others is very simple, which is my second favorite feature in Asana.
Asana was clearly designed to be used by groups of individuals.

What do you dislike about the product?
This could become stressful while working on a relatively simple application that does not require these capabilities. Even when I'm using it alone or for a short job, I tend to become overwhelmed by the number of options available, and I don't always take advantage of all of its features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the help of Asana, my organization and staff have been able to address a variety of challenges. For the monitoring duties for the actions required to accomplish them, we have already been employing this software. It is beneficial to have everything organized to allow me to understand who's really focusing on what and then when it is ready.
In addition, we all can make suggestions in a single location that may be referred to in the later if necessary. This feature is essential because my firm has transitioned to a remote environment for the time being. It allows all of our departments to keep in touch. They are constantly introducing new things and updating their software, which would be a real advantage.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'd suggest asana if you're looking for an easy-to-use solution for tracking and collaborating on projects. This is the appropriate tool to use.
Great project management tool for business and personal
What do you like best about the product?
Super user friendly, love different view options (list, table, etc.), Instagantt integration, easy to collaborate with others
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have an easier way to toggle between accounts, but maybe this is doable in the desktop app? I generally use the web app
