Powerful Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Asana collaborative management features makes it a powerful tool for project facilitation. Asana includes the ability to track team progress, manage workflow, track budgets and expenses, along with many other features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana was not able to handle the management of comprehensive graphical work. I also wished that notifications we more detailed and in-depth to ensure the user knew what task the notification was in reference to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has allowed our business to work together more fluidly and manage all of our workflows from one place. Asana has been the key to ensuring our company's productivity.
Simple, easy to use interface, no significant learning curve
What do you like best about the product?
It's a breeze to set up a portfolio of tasks, make task assignments, and monitor progress from a single dashboard. Ideal for small teams and does not require a software install and configuration of a project management system. Asana can be used either over a web interface or a desktop/mobile app. Cross-platform availability ( form factors, operating systems) has been crucial for us and Asana delivers in this context.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana is a cloud-based task/project management system. So, cloud outages at one of the major public cloud providers could impact its availability. To date, we have not experienced any outages but that possibility seems likely. Asana works well for simple tasks/projects with few dependencies but complex tasks/projects might require a comprehensive project management system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We typically use Asana to manage a portfolio of tasks/projects for a small team of 3 - 5 members. We have gained better visibility to outstanding tasks/projects and our ability to drive them to closure has improved since we adopted Asana

- Getting used to it takes a bit of time
- Paid plans could have been cheaper like 5 dollars per month it could help small businesses like us to get started easily
- The android app seems to be buggy

- Managing tasks
- Checking the progress of each task and project helps u to identify whether we could finish it before the deadline

- It's good to manage your daily tasks and monitor your overall projects.

Good for Task Management and Resource Sharing

- Similar to ClickUp and slack so we could get used to them quickly
- Mobile apps are available both for Android and IOS to help to check important updates easily

- Mobile apps aren't as good as web application often face issues with it, and it lacks functionalities compared to web application
- Asana is a bit expensive if you're a new startup and needs to spend 11 dollars every month to use the product

Excellent Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is an excellent tool for not only managing tasks on your team but also for cross-department projects as well. It streamlines and organizes all tasks for projects/assignments, so everyone is on track for what is due.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not see any cons of using Asana, as it has helped our team organize and manage all of our assignments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Definitely an excellent tool that has helped us manage our assignments by assigning team members to tasks, setting deadlines, and managing the timeline and status of projects.
Great platform for managing projects with teams.
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is the perfect platform for organizing projects and assigning tasks to teams and people. UX and UI makes it very easy to navigate and being able to integrate into Slack is a huge plus.

I can't think of any downsides to Asana. Many recent updates have improved the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can create a full calendar of projects, tasks, and sub-tasks for different teams. Asana helps us be way more productive and has increased performance and made things more efficient.

Tasks can organized quickly and easily thanks to asana

The "look and feel" of asana is too simple
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems that I am solving are to see what I need to do every day; it creates a very specific organized calendar that can be reached from any device.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend companies to do a POC of Asana to make sure it fulfills their demands.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is being able to manage my tasks with ease and integrate work with the whole team. With Asana I have control over all deliveries. Unlike other platforms, I still have access to reports, and follow-up via board and calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
A point of improvement would be a level of responsibility option, so not everyone on the team will be able to change the due dates. Changing the date without prior request hinders task management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems with the organization of tasks that used to be late and we had no control over it, today we have a complete management of delays, delivery dates, and the people on the team who deliver their tasks on time. It is more comprehensive management of services.
