What do you like best about the product?

The constant updating of the look and making things harder than they were.

I am always up to date with my work project, know what the next task is and can easily delegate tasks to someone else.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Asana visually appealing and intuitive to use, which makes managing projects less of a chore and more engaging. The interface is designed in a way that even someone unfamiliar with the tool can understand and navigate it effectively from the start, which minimizes the learning curve and gets things up and running quickly. I particularly appreciate the AI project updates, which are extremely beneficial in keeping track of progress without having to manually search for information or request updates constantly. This feature enhances the overall efficiency of the project management process by ensuring that I am always informed about the latest developments with minimal effort on my part.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the lack of a master timeline or the ability to view all projects in one Gantt chart as a significant drawback in Asana. Additionally, my attempts to integrate Asana with other tools have been unsuccessful, which limits its functionality and the ability to coordinate with additional software effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana for project tracking and timing work. It is visually appealing, easy to use, and the AI project updates are great.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Asana is incredibly easy to use while being robust enough to handle complex and layered tasks, which makes it versatile for managing various business types, groups, and users. The app provides solid task management coupled with an activity log and the ability to attach storage, which is instrumental in organizing my work and personal tasks. I appreciate the improvements in design, particularly how the website and desktop app have become much better, enhancing the overall user experience. Additionally, Asana's flexibility and ease of reference on mobile make managing tasks on the go convenient, even though there remains room for improvement in the input process. I also value the seamless integration with other tools, such as the Google Suite, which helps maintain a cohesive workflow across different task types. The ease of initial setup is another highlight, allowing for immediate productivity without cumbersome onboarding processes. Overall, I find Asana to be a highly recommendable tool, evidenced by my readiness to advocate for its usage and my high likelihood of recommending it to friends or colleagues, rating it an 11 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an easier way to clean up duplicate tasks or things that are basically the same. Lots of input, but sometimes quick and unorganized input makes it so that I don't know what I created or where I stored it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana for task management, keeping an activity log with notes, and attaching related documents, improving my organization and efficiency. Its flexibility and ease of use make it suitable for diverse business types, although task duplication could be managed better.

Effortless Task Listing and Quick Organization

What do you like best about the product?
I can create lists very quickly to jot down all my tasks before they're forgotten.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that only one form/application can be created through each project board on the free version, which is what my work uses. You have to create a new board to make different vendor applications/proposal submissions for the same project.

Also don't like how to notate that there are additional comments/notes/info for a task in Asana, you have to use the comment feature. If you input info into the description box, you won't know it's there unless you click on the specific task. So info gets lost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving task management/keeping tack of projects/sharing vendor applications and storing.

Effortless Task Management and Collaboration

What do you like best about the product?
I like how effortlessly i can manage my tasks with the help of Asana. I usally work on collaborations with brands as a content creator and it does have deadlines, so i can easily create my to do list based on particular dates, and complete my work easily before the deadline. I love the details it provides, like which tasks are pending, overdue and even send you notifications of pending tasks, so i can keep a track. I can even work with my manager and distribute tasks with each other, the thing is i like how fun it makes task handling work. Love it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the important features require an upgrade, for example, auto notifying my team members about the pending tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me to be more professional by allowing me to complete my projects on time. I can focus on content creation without worrying about the pending things as it helps me to keep everything in place and everything planned based on the due date.

Effective for Task Management, but Pricing Challenges for Small Teams

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Asana for its effectiveness in managing tasks within our church and staff. The platform's ability to assign tasks and organize staff meetings has significantly enhanced our efficiency. The feature I find most valuable is being able to open Asana and immediately see what tasks I need to accomplish for the day, which streamlines my daily workflow. I also like the customizable rules provided by Asana, which allow us to control the visibility of information according to our needs. These capabilities have made a substantial difference in how we organize and execute our responsibilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it challenging that Asana's pricing structure doesn't offer flexible options for small teams like ours. We run a small church and need to add more users, but the plan jumps from five users to ten without intermediate options. This results in a significant increase in cost, which is difficult to justify for just a couple more users. Additionally, the initial setup of Asana was daunting, and we relied heavily on our daughter's experience with the platform to get started. Without her guidance, the setup would have been much harder for us. She was already using it at her church
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to track what everyone is doing and assign tasks, improving our church staff's effectiveness. It provides a clear view of tasks and calendars, enhancing our productivity and organization.

Effortless and Easy, real-time Task management tool

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Asana is that it’s very clean and easy to use, so managing my tasks doesn’t feel messy or confusing. The team can assign task to me and I can assign task to my team mates and see the status on real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I find Asana a bit overwhelming because it has so many features and options, which makes it tricky to quickly find what I need. The free plan feels limited, so to really use Asana properly, you have to go for a paid subscription. The need to use asana doesnt arise in case you are using Teams, since you can keep track of your task on teams. So I feel Asana has limited use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps solve the problem of keeping all tasks, projects, and deadlines in one place so nothing slips through the cracks. It’s great for teamwork because everyone can see who’s doing what and share updates right away. For me, this cuts down on back-and-forth emails and extra meetings, and it’s clearer what needs to be done and when. It helps me to assign task and it is real time so that any task that comes in mind need not be taken on note pad and then be discussed with team mates but can be done on real time.

Helping Shape Stakeholder Management and Collaboration

What do you like best about the product?
In my current role, I have utilized Asana to stay in contact with multiple stakeholders or manage project/activity needs. It is very useful at helping yo keep track of roadmaps and frameworks while also helping to coordinate digital learning rollouts. Since I manage a committee, this has helped me assign action items to various members, and track goals, keeping everything centrally located to our work.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a separate platform. Sometimes individuals and teams do not see the need for another PM program. If everyone isn't using it together, you get limited results. I also wish there was a better storytelling/storyboarding feature. Because of this I have to utilize separate apps to design frameworks, and track assessment, like Miro or Lucidchart, etc. More of an all in one platform would be more ideal and limit bouncing from program to program, especially considering Asana is a PM platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Honestly, one of the biggest issues in L&D management, is dealing with multiple stakeholders across timezones and regions globally. This helps centralize that into one location, being able to consolidate people into groups to manage easier, notify, etc.
