Best management + collaboration tool for organisations and teams
What do you like best about the product?
Asana articulates the way where team collaboration happens in the real-life into a single app. Especially the way it handles tasks visibility, milestones tracking, team reviews and appreciation, and so much more. It keeps the team on the same page. Other than that, It's easily accessible across the web and mobile, so that when I'm traveling, I can still keep track of the notification.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that could be improved is the note-taking feature. A user could lose track of some important comments or notes if there're too many tasks and structures involved in a workspace. With that said, it prompted another issue where there aren't any offline note-taking features implemented just yet, probably pencil drawing ability I'm expecting to see in the future as well. Overall, I'm looking forward to seeing that down the road.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team used to have communications and tasks that took place in different applications. With Asana, our team productivity improved, our goals and milestones are tracked efficiently. We also used a lot of different plugins integration such as Gmail, Mailchimp, and website form integration. Asana acts like a central system and the base for every product. Besides, Asana Forum provides a lot of courses, education and inspiration on how to setup Asana to best suit the needs of my organisation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Absolutely a good tool for company or team collaboration. You wouldn't regret to use that when you see how easy it is to reform your team communication and centralise it in a single app. Besides, if you do consider security while storing your files and tasks, do use Asana.
Streamlined task and project organization.

Asana is very helpful for the business teams that are looking to save time and get organized. It can be used as a project management tool, allowing users to set due dates, assign tasks and monitor workloads. The best part about Asana is that it's free and easy to use- it provides a simple solution for business teams who want to save time and stay on top of their work. Asana is organizes all of your tasks in one place. It can be accessed from any device, and it's designed to make collaboration as seamless as possible. You can use Asana to share documents and chat with your teammates, so you and the people on your team will always stay on the same page.
What do you dislike about the product?
This software is not available offline and cannot be used when there is no internet connection.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana makes my work easier and more efficient. It has been designed to let people share and collaborate on the work they're doing in an effective and easy way. It can be used to keep track of projects, tasks, and conversations all in one place. This is a great tool for teams in businesses or for personal use as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
By streamlining tasks through task-sharing or an app, people can put their skills to better use and be more efficient!
A great project management solution for teams
What do you like best about the product?
If you've ever managed a team, you know that it's challenging to stay on top of everything — especially complicated projects. Asana makes it easy for teams to organize and manage projects, regardless of size or scope. I really like the way Asana provides prebuilt templates for different types of projects, which makes it easy to get started. I also appreciate that most of the key features are available for free, making it easy to use and test Asana fully over a few months before committing to using it long-term.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there isn't much I don't like about Asana. One of the main downsides had been that there was no desktop application, but Asana recently added one that works well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By using Asana, our team has been able to stay on top of various projects and ensure we aren't letting anything slip through the cracks. One of the main ways we use Asana is to manage all of our external emails and social posts for various campaigns. It's a great way to make sure everyone on our team knows what is going out and when.
Good tool to plan your work
What do you like best about the product?

What do you dislike about the product?
Not very user friendly, sometimes it takes ma a few moment to figure out how things functioning in Asana
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating, Scheduling and managing tasks. QA/QC
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have tried several planning tools, looks like this work the best for architectural design. You can connect several groups in one project (designers, consultants, GC, owner, etc) and you can manage what portion of task is visible for each.
Its been great to align our business to our strategic projects.
What do you like best about the product?
Rules and automation are great. Love how I can set up templates and rules to create workflows and setup. I'm not in marketing but I love the feedback ability + creates a subtask for it
What do you dislike about the product?
The dependency mapping. Lacks autorescheduling in a manner that makes sense and seemless. I've heard of flowsana but haven't implemented. Figured OTB
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Alignment and basic task tracking.
The ONLY project management tool you will ever need
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can structure it however you want to use it. It syncs with Google Calendar and many other apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one downside, I think is that you can't download as a PDF.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest benefit of Asana for me is that you can create it however you want. I love too that you can tag tasks and that you can tag people into the conversations without adding them into the project.
Asana is amazing

What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that asana is a little difficult to grasp at first but once I learned the program it was easy.

I am able to do more work without the hassle of getting projects confused. It makes the work flow easier because it helps keep everything organized.
Asana Helps Our Remote Team Stay Together
What do you like best about the product?
We are a small (9-employee), fully remote organization. Asana helps us run meetings efficiently and keep projects on target. When we have a challenge arise (e.g. we were having some handoff/communication issues from sales to project management), Asana makes it easy to visualize a workflow. Using rules in board view, we clarified the process and have not had the same issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana can have a learning curve for employees, and can feel overwhelming to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving workflow and project hand-off issues. Asana helps us communicate between roles/departments, especially using board view and rules. Asana also helps clarify the various pieces of a project and who is working on what. It helps us set clear deadlines and helps folks see the bigger picture of projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana provides a great deal of resources and trainings. I would recommend you attend a training to see that it's right for you.
Asana - Organization that Goes Beyond the Expected
What do you like best about the product?
I'm the Marketing Strategist for a financial institution with over 450,000 members, I have ADHD, and I LOVE Asana. It's simple to learn and capable of so much. Asana has what you would expect from any project/team management tool (create tasks, project templates, assign individuals, due dates, etc.), but it excels in so much more. The user interface is clean, modern, and easy to navigate. Beyond the expected, Asana adds features that enrich the experience and simplify project/team management. I am a huge fan of applying rules that automatically organize tasks across different projects, and add comments to or change the status of tasks when criteria is met. I love the different displays that are available for projects. I use the timeline display (Gant chart) to plan and organize our campaign calendar for the year, the board display to monitor and update the statuses of campaigns I am developing, and the list display for task management across teams.
The Asana mobile app is the perfect companion for continued management when I'm away from the desk. I love being able to add and update tasks when I'm on the move, comment on updates, and know that my team is on top of things.
The Asana team is absolutely fantastic! They are active in their efforts to improve all that Asana can do, and do it by listening to the needs of their users. I appreciate all of their outreach and encouragement to simplify life. The Asana community is also a great resource for learning how others across the spectrum are using Asana to accomplish great things.
Asana enhanced my ability to succeed so quickly that I jumped on their ambassador program within a few months of becoming a user. It is seriously so easy and useful. Productivity has nearly doubled in every area of my life that I use Asana. I primarily use it at work but also for my personal life, and now I have my church leaders using it as well.

What do you dislike about the product?
Whenever there has been a feature that I desired Asana to have, like task templates, Asana has always been 10 steps ahead and adds or updates the desired features in a timely manner. One update that I'm still waiting on, but know is on their radar, is to have guest/stakeholder accounts for those who would benefit from viewing and commenting on tasks only but won't count as one of the available but limited seats on my team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because of its clean interface, Asana has become the single source of truth for all of our campaign communication. The My Tasks tab helps members easily identify the tasks that need attention. The Portfolio tab helps us quickly understand the health of all campaigns that are running and in development. I am able to keep a pulse on 5-10 live campaigns while developing 3-5 more at the same time.
It's a time saver! The archive allows us to quickly find past projects or tasks to reference. Project and task templates remove the tediousness of creating new projects. Automated notifications help projects progress on time, if not faster.
One of the biggest problems Asana helps solve is team member accountability. Everyone knows everyone's tasks, and the organization of it all promotes on-time work and keeps stress levels much lower when the workload is higher than normal.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
You will move mountains if you commit yourself and your team to use Asana as your single (or at least primary) source of truth.
A great tool for project management!
What do you like best about the product?
The advanced features make this platform so useful - portfolio management, dependent tasks, status update templates, and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
These features should be available to everyone!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps our team workplan and provides transparency across the organization. It's been invaluable for asynchronous communication, tying discussions to the relevant project information.

Just go for it!
