Organization for Internal Teams!
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Asana is the ease of creating and completing tasks. The platform is extremely customizable when it comes to organizing tasks, projects, etc. It's easy to add individuals to the tasks and assign due dates to keep everyone on the same project on the same page!
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that I dislike about Asana is the lack of notifications outside of emails. The main Asana timeline can get lost when you have so many projects and other tasks going on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem we have solved with Asana is tasks being completed in a timely manner. Without Asana, we would not be nearly as organized and many tasks would be forgotten which would be devastating to our line of work.
Making sure nothing falls by the wayside
What do you like best about the product?
Asana helps me organize and visualize any sort of project that I may be working on. I love color coding, teams, report building, custom fields. Probably my favorite thing is my inbox - I couldn't get through a workday without it. And I love Asana Academy - I couldn't have learned the program so well nor have shared that knowledge with my team without it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that subtasks could be added to multiple projects. I feel that the reports feature could be better - it is difficult to pull a report from both tasks and subtasks and present it to my team in a way they understand. I have found every integration that I've used between Asana and other programs to be lacking, especially Slack and Outlook, and feel if more time were devoted there integrations could truly make work more efficient. I find messages within projects to be the most underutilized part of the program with every team I work with and think Asana could benefit greatly from an internal instant messaging system. A big hassle is that annually repeated tasks regularly repopulate to an incorrect date, which means all of these tasks need to be set to a new date manually. My team uses Asana so extensively that it's very easy to lose track of a task or comment that I'm not actively a part of - some kind of bookmarking feature would be very beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As far as benefits, I can't even count them. I'm amazed how much I can share with different people or teams across different projects. It makes it simple to bring in third parties who only need access to certain tasks. Asana has made our hiring process more streamlined, our Marketing more efficient, and Operations easier to track. Over the past two years my team has began preparing for all meetings in Asana and creating an agenda that anyone can add to has made meeting time the most productive it's ever been.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the integrations, project tracking, portfolio and strategic goal features
What do you dislike about the product?
I like it all. I sometimes wish the mobile app had a few more features as the desktop
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Less emails
Great tool to structure your tasks
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is user-friendly. It is easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't experience any inconveniences while using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps to structure my working flow, prioritize the tasks and do not miss details.
Pretty Good for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Everyone can see everything clearly, I like the colors and interface. It's fairly intuitive, and we can have confidential boards for various teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's only as good as you set it up - so if you design it in a funky way, it's going to be hard to use. While it's fairly customizable, there are limitations. Also, we have a hard time tracking and adding up numeric things (or automatically counting how many days a process has been going on, etc). There might be workarounds, but we haven't found them. We haven't found a great way to track notes in reoccuring meetings, where we need to reference the last week's notes but not just copy them (because this causes umpteen redundant tasks). Getting everyone to adhere to the desired process (like checking off boxes when tasks are complete) is challenging, too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're trying to track all our projects, and take notes in meetings, and track tasks. It's been helpful for teams who need to keep each other updated but don't want a daily standup meeting.
Controls our business from one central place
What do you like best about the product?
Perfect for remotes teams to co-ordinate and achieve our teams business goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a couple of things - colours for text and being able to sort by multiple fields at once, oh and also being able to use formulas like spreadsheets within a project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Too many problems to mention have been solved by using Asana. We co-ordinate 90% of our business with our team across the world. Ev erything is transparent and we can make changes on the fly,

Streamline your business in one platform today! Use Asana!
I endorse Asana often for anyone interested in learning how to manage a project efficiently!
What do you like best about the product?
Have you ever seen the big picture of a project and wondered how to put the details in its place? Asana lets me get as specific as I want, with all the different players involved, while still having the great scenery in view. Think, for example, a single domino starting while knocking over two dominoes, then four, and then more. It's like the ability to spread a wildfire with a single spark of imagination.
Asana is as easy to use as one wants it to be or as heavily complexed like a team of developers working together on a giant project.
It's all up to the designer of the journey that the manager creates. It's all open for development with endless creative possibilities and strategies that the team can implement while staying on track, focusing on tasks at hand.
I've had a chance to look at other platforms, and none of the other platforms gave me the opportunity asana did to become a certified user. Asana invested in developing a proper learning strategy for its me to implement and become an efficient user. It also uses its platform to do it with, so it walks the talk.
After going through their training, I appreciated how this platform allowed me to learn and build my management skills. It's extremely useful in business and life.

What do you dislike about the product?
Considering that managing projects within Asana begin with its usage, it does come with a learning curve. Asana takes some practice to understand but so does any other platform. With the proper training and a little patience, the team comes together as fast as the members can adopt this technology. Naturally, some members will learn a bit faster than others.
Considering that individuals learn at different timetables, I'll be the first to say that I learn certain things much faster than others. It's the same thing with this platform. Some members will catch this quickly and painlessly. In contrast, others will struggle to implement it at first.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana's helped me learn how different team members' strengths are developed. It also lets me refine strategies that the team members can check since I can create a template and use it each time. A template evolves, yet certain templates are great starting points. Also, when actions are redundant and new members need to perform them, Asana lets them have a starting point to follow with key descriptions of tasks and specific links associated with them.
This is a great thing because when the new team members come on board, they'll need guidance. Sometimes, automating the process is much more efficient. Yet, there is still some coaching involved with the usage of this platform.
Hey, this is with anything, however. The creative process takes time. Patience can go a long way, but we know that time can mean the difference in a big way.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I was in a program with Verizon and many other entrepreneurs. Some were new, and others had experienced. Since I took the time to learn how to use Asana two years ago, I remember how excited I was about becoming a better manager.
I met an entrepreneur who was struggling to manage her projects. She was looking for a better way to manage her social media management business, so I told her about Asana. I told her if she was willing to go the extra mile and learn the platform and if time was not an issue, to try it. I guided her towards the certification of the platform. She followed my suggestion, and she went forward with Asana.
Considering that when a person becomes efficient with this platform, they can implement it with their own business. They are also allowed to assist new Asana users in developing their skills. This is great for natural coaches and leaders. So its a win-win if the person moves forward with the knowledge and practices. At the same time, you don't have to go that route and use the knowledge for your own business.
If this is something that sounds interesting to you? Then give it a try. Take the time to learn it. Consider this an opportunity to self educate yourself as I did in how to manage projects differently. Possibly, more efficiently than what you may be doing now.

Asana powers our workday success
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to build quick project plans from templates and assign my teammates so everyone knows what they're responsible for.
Celebrations in Asana make you excited to check things off and keep pushing for the finish line.
Rules help automate the project management so I can spend more time finishing tasks and less time managing the project settings.
Most recently, the rollout of Work Week so tasks don't assign on the weekends have been great. Asana is constantly improving, not staying stagnant, and listening to it's user base.

What do you dislike about the product?
We'd just gotten on an Enterprise plan when not long after, they added another Enterprise plan and some of the items we'd joined for moved up into that higher bracket. I wish there was more availability in our legacy Enterprise plan for some security settings and app settings.
I also wish we could integrate Salesforce into Asana for automatic goal tracking.
Aside from that, I LOVE everything about Asana.

We use Asana for everything from planning our annual 5K to planning out our IT infrastructure projects. Our marketing plans are moving forward as a result of all our projects and nested portfolios. We even plan our meeting agendas in Asana. Maintenance, HR, and Volunteer Services are all now onboarded into Asana as well, enabling automation and less manual work for those teams.
Our donation revenue has grown increasingly over the last few years and Asana has played a big role in that through powering our productivity.

Asana has made it simple and easy for us to be on the same page and move our work and organization forward. I've been in a lot of project management tools over my working career and hands down, Asana has been the best to work with. I've used it in almost every use case imaginable and it's always more than met our needs. The Asana team is also committed to continuously making the tool better and better and listen to their community of users as they implement new solutions and enhancements.
Easy Task-based Management for Projects
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can create a project, tasks within that project, and sub-tasks within that as well. It makes it easy to breakdown responsibilities, expected timelines, and keeps everyone accountable.
What do you dislike about the product?
i really love everything about this software. Can't think of a downside.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accountability and organization for my team—we stay on task and are all updated at the same time. It also acts as a documentation tool that we can reference back to whenever there are questions about a project or a dispute that needs resolving. It allows several different departments to keep track and record their work all at the same time for any other department or team member to review, making client communication a breeze.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We haven't dug into them yet, but I do see value in some of their paid features. I also highly recommend thinking through what your internal workflow looks like before creating projects/tasks/subtasks and templates. It will make it much easier to remain consistent and for the platform to work for you.
