Invaluable Tool for Teamwork
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is intuitive and allows for easy collaboration on every surface you would use in your day-to-day.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get unwieldy if your team is not familiar with how to use the software. It can also be a bit of a learning curve if you are used to managing via spreadsheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have streamlined our video production scheduling, merchandise creation, and design projects with the implementation of Asana. We have found that it is extremely helpful to minimize context switching between applications and repositories.
Great Project and Task Management
What do you like best about the product?
It really helps to improve your productivity, you can see exactly what is happening, who's responsible for each task, when it needs to be completed. It makes the work clear and easier.
I also like some functionalities like the cronogram, the panel, advanced researches, custom fields.
These functionalities make Asana different than the other similar tools.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think Asana should automatize more the Goals feature and to provide a dashboard on the Portfolios just like there is on the Projects.
Also, on the cronogram view, we are not able to see the sub tasks, a lot of customers complains about it because they compare with instagantt for example, but of course I know they can simply integrate their Asana and then the'll have this view.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I organized better my demands, I have more time left because I focus on what I have to do and a really good point is that I can share my work with my colleagues and we are all always on the same page.
Now the whole company is more organized and people track their work goals better than they used to do before.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
People always come to us and ask what kind of solution they can use to better manage their work, they normally already use other similar tools, but they're looking for more, more features, more information inside only one place.
If you're looking for the same, you've just found it, Asana meets all the requirements, you won't have any problem with security and you can easily centralize all the work in only one enviroment.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana's easy-to-use user interface is my favorite part. For someone like me who is a visual learner, Asana's colors, design and overall look & feel make me feel excited to do my work. I also love that they make automations/formulas/functions easy for the everyday user to understand. There's no confusing "Excel style" formulas that you have to memorize. Asana's system is intuitive and a joy to use to bring my projects to life.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Asana allowed licensed users the ability to share their projects with non-licensed users along with more capabilities. I know that I can share certain things with unlicensed users, but in my experience the limitations hinder my collaboration needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am problem-solving for team/internal collaboration, as well as my time management.

I like being able to quickly see my tasks.

Lack of due date roll-ups between subtasks & parent tasks.

We have been able to identify tasks that should be combined with other efforts and have become more agile in our deployments.

Easy to use as it has standar templates and can be manage from your computer, phone and tablet

Everyone in the company needs to have an account in Asana to be able to see the projects different from other tools that you have public views

Able to see the work the team has without micromanage them, manage their workload and reduce number of meetings.

use the free versión first to understand the tool and attend Asana events to learn from others how to use the tool

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that Asana is flexible and scalable. Asana has a robust learning library as part of the Asana Academy. Templates and now rul;es and triggers are super helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I want more automation with goals and better integration with Google Chat/meet. I'm not too fond of the minimal reporting features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm running multiple departments, marketing, technology development, legal, and compliance. It's is especially helpful for remote teams.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Anyone who has a business and works with more than 1 or 2 people should absolutely use Asana regardless of the industry they are a part of.

The ability to assign tasks and create dependencies!

It can be difficult to find tasks that are not specific to my workload, but might be tangentially related.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has been hugely beneficial in working remotely. We have both partial remote staff and we were all moved to work from home during the pandemic. It helps keep track of conversations surrounding projects. It also improved cross-team functionality through visibility.

Great interface. You can use python to tweak your needs.

With many projects, the dashboard looks cluttered.

Use ASANA, with Fulcrum and Power BI intergration to track billed time, invoices and revenue collection
Asana is GREAT!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has genuinely changed my work life. It is so helpful to begin my workday by bringing it up on my screen and referencing back to it throughout the day. It is like my virtual to-do list and helps me remember to do many tasks that would fall through the cracks as other things come up in my day. What I like best about Asana is how useful it is and a fantastic assistance for me to complete my tasks. There are many features, like adding due dates and the ability to sort my most pressing tasks to the top of the list. I am also able to make reoccurring tasks, and that has been extremely helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There has not been anything that has come up yet that I have disliked about Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving many problems with Asana. I can remember tasks that are monthly, bi-annually, and annually because of the feature where I can set tasks to reoccurring. There are a lot of benefits to using Asana. Having to-do lists where I can constantly add more tasks, sort, and check them all off the list has been excellent.
Great product for projects with lots of tasks and/or deadlines
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to get started with it; you can use for small one off tasks or larger more complex tasks. I had never used before starting my current job and I feel up to speed and comfortable already!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not everyone who needs to use it is currently using it; I think it can look intimdating at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping better track of deadlines; sharing updates in real time. Tracking changes and ensuring the entire team is viewing/staying updated.
