I love that it's a virtual check list that a bigger group and work together on. It's incredibly helpful to remain on track and consider everybody responsible! It's cutoff time work is critical, that way you can close the circle on any forthcoming tasks and guarantee fulfillment. The task include is extraordinary as well so there is clear assumptions set with regards to who is answerable for each undertakings.

It takes some time to get used to; however, once you have it down, it's incredible! Great tool to get tasks done that doesn't overcomplicate project management
What do you like best about the product?
With the core focus of Asana being tasks, I easily plan and track progress to results. Everything I work on in Asana is related to getting a task: completed, modified, deleted. I like that all the features (advanced & basic) enhance what I can do to get a task done, and this is what makes it great to use Asana: that I don't get lost in overcomplicating project management, and I'm still able to categorize/group tasks, add tags, include links. Whatever Asana decides to add in the future I know it will stay true to completing tasks, so I'm confident it will continue to be a great product to get things done.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike any of the Asana features. It is clear for me that this is a task management app, and that Asana's limitation is to keep the focus on getting tasks done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to let team members know what I'm working on and what I'll be working on in the next weeks. They do the same and that helps avoid extra messages on catching up... So we shift more on to conversations about how all tasks come together.

There isn't a whole lot that I dislike about Asana. Sometimes, notifications can get buried in the inbox, but that's really my only complaint. If you are receiving notification emails and checking your inbox frequently, it shouldn't be an issue.

What do you like best about the product?
I like it can be simple to admin the tasks as well as to admin tasks assigned to others.
I like that we can create monthly reports to see how much we have done in terms of a "tag" or "section", for us is important to keep the records and to create reports. For this purpose we have the option to download a CSV even if we are free users.

What do you dislike about the product?
I also disliked the daily messages or notification sent to my email would not say I like its free version, which is pretty limited.
We previously used premium, but license expired, and we were downgraded to free version automatically, we felt the change specially in how much users we could add to the project, but I mean, that is not the end of the world.
I also disliked the daily messages or notification sent to my email which are activated by default

I find it very useful to transform my Emails into Asana tasks just forwarding it like an email.
Additionally, I have found Asana very good to manage ongoing projects or tasks that you do not necessarily create for delivery or with a deadline. In my case I simple forward the email a received for a request to my project in asana and then I can set the periodicity I will be working on the task. which are activated by default. My team uses Asana to keep historical records of the request we received. We have used it since 2017 up to now.

Great for staying organized!
What do you like best about the product?
One of my favorite things about Asana this past month, has been the organization it has created to my workflow. I am constantly able to see when things are due, what needs to happen first, second, third, etc. It has allowed me to stay MUCH more organized when I am collaborating with coworkers with the way it is set up. If you are looking to get or stay organized, Asana is for you!
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside, that may not be a downside for all people, is that you receive a lot of emails. I know that you can unsubscribe to these, but I still want some of them. I guess my request for this is that I will be able to receive only a limited number of emails, without canceling them completely. I will say, the emails giving reminders to complete tasks, are quite helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Asana, I have stayed on top of my work like never before. I know what needs to be done, for and from each department. I really have realized how much time I have been saving, because Asana figures out what I need to do for me! Without me sitting around, trying to recall what tasks need to be completed, I can just look at my workflow.
