Asana and a great chance to organize your business
What do you like best about the product?
Availability, visualization, customization and control. These elements of Asana have helped us beyond measure!
Availability: The fact that our demands are stored in 24/7 app that I can check my task for the day and upcoming day from anywhere with a computer / smartphone and internet connection have enabled my team to keep track of what is more importante to us. Moreover, its app for smartphone has been improving each day.
Visualization: Once we learn how to look into our projects and tasks on Asana, it became very clear how to organize and prioritize what we have to do in order to achieve our goals. Staff can easily know what tasks need to be done, managers create demands connected to larger goals, and the officers can have an outlook of how things are being carried out.
Customization: At first, we saw Asana as a project and task manager. As we got more in touch, we learned how to use its many tools and integrations to explore other features, using it as an Intranet for common documents access, multidepartmental controls and ease to data access.
Control: With Asana, processess which were scattered through ERP, e-mails, WhatsApp is becoming centralizes in one plataform. With key information in one place, decisions are taken with more clarity.

What do you dislike about the product?
As I stated before, the app for smartphones has been improving. However, the experience still needs to refinement when we talk about how to find what you need fast, as we have in browser version.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Information which was all over the place is one in one platform. The professionals who need to see the development of a task or project don't need to ask around to see who is more up to date, they may only access the project on Asana and see for themselves.
That alone is a major gain. More than that, people who are on the operation, understand what needs to be done by when - clarity is key to success.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
When I was comparing Asana to other similar platforms, our choice was towards its native integration with JOTFORM, support and price / method of payment.
I also read some specialized sites and they pointed out between Asana and Wrike, but I felt Asana would be easier to set up and offer the features we were looking for at a lower cost.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana has become the tool that has helped us the most to stay connected and get projects done during lockdown. It offers so many features that lead us to achieve our goals without being tedious and without problems of understanding.
What do you dislike about the product?
How limiting it is in some respects and the lack of access to customization makes me feel that the platform is only for purely work-related duties.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps incredibly in the realization of collaborative work; you can distribute the work easily; you can monitor the progress made by each of the members, making that, besides being extremely comfortable, everything is completed more quickly and effectively.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You will quickly notice that the level of production will go up, just as it has happened to us. It will really optimize the construction of group projects both at work and in the academic field.

The best thing is that it is a tool that increases group performance, absolutely improves organization in the company.

I like that Asana can have mulitple users and checklist to mark off when tasks are complete. It's helpful to be able to easily add stake holders on multiple projects.

I wish there were more features included on the freemium account.

Asana is a very complete application and has little (or no) detail to highlight. However, it can improve the fact that at certain times, when there are many scheduled tasks, it is not possible to prioritize one over others and in turn, that these are first on the initial screen.

A tool like Asana is very useful in project planning in any work environment. It is very powerful, because it gives the opportunity to assign tasks to different people (in a group) and to be able to observe the development of each worker, according to their area, competencies and / or responsibilities.

Asana is fully recommended software. If you have a wide-ranging project with well-defined and clear objectives, there is no other tool that better organizes your ideas and objectives, to develop them within the agreed time frames.

I am able to see what I need to complete in live time, and it makes me feel awesome when I finish a task. I can also have boards with coworkers so we can see from a larger level all that needs to be done.

What do you like best about the product?
The user management is amazing it has allowed us to assign tasks from a general project and also see each user that is registered within the project. It has also allowed us to review the activity history of each employee. We were also able to automate the creation of Gantt charts when needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Asana is not so useful for organized file storage, as you have to have a microscopic view at times to review the files that can be stored in each task, making it tedious to use. All this can be improved thanks to some update they decide to implement in the future we need integration with notes as a whole and different types of media for project organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to perform collaborations using a limited project capacity which gave us a project tracking with time zone structure and complex team structures. We have been able to plan a logistical execution for each project individually and also plan the time in which it will be developed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
At the end of the tests we were able to evaluate all the possible tools for the use of team collaboration. It is necessary to manage the ability to review progress in the project itself so that the workflow is faster and the documentation of notes and processes can be done through the system's configuration boards.

they are so many options and ways to customize your tasks and calendars. great way to organize the office by departments and teams. helps me stay organized. allows me to see others progress.

at first it was pretty hard for me figure out how to use the website at first. some of my coworkers also had a hard time because there is so much you can do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
knowing where individuals in your team are on tasks assigned to them and also letting others see my progress. also me to prioritize my work better.

i recommend it and there are great options some of which are less expensive
Good enough project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to setup and tool itself is very flexible. You can organize your needed workflow here in minutes. Also ticket format is flexible and you can put as much info as you need. UI is nice and modern. I believe it is best UI for such tools in the market. Applications are nice as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that there is no ticket number. You cannot refer the ticket by something short, you either need to tell whole title or provide the link. On other tools you can just say "Ticket T-78" for example and "T-78" is enough to identify what are you talking about. Here such trick will not work. Every time you need the link.
Second is opposite side of flexibility. A lot of flexibility gives a lot of room for error. You cannot enforce validations on format and you cannot enforce validations on workflow. So this tool will need more discipline from your colleagues.

Project management is easier with Asana. Benefits are that it is somewhere in the middle between Trello and Jira. If Trello is too lightweight and Jira is too complex for you, then Asana is your choice.

If Trello is too lightweight and already do not mets your needs, but at the same time Jira is too complex and you thing it is too complicated, then Asana is your tool of Choice. It is somewhere in the middle of Trello and Jira.
