LOTS of integration opportunities
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has integrations that connect directly with versioning systems and direct interaction between the business analysts and project managers with their developers. Developers can interact with product sprint boards and immediately provide updates via the different integration points within their workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does require the team to be diligent about updating their progress. The alerts via emails become annoying and eventually get ignored. I would advise project managers to take ownership of the project boards and update it themselves.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having multiple concurrent projects with disparate teams is difficult to manage. This tool centralizes the operation of a PM team, and someone can track related within Asana without going into the projects themselves. Workloads can be quickly generated at the press of a button for each development resource.
Love using Asana!
What do you like best about the product?
I think Asana is the best project management tool that is out there. Love it!
What do you dislike about the product?
I miss the free version, but our organization is big enough now that we need the paid version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management, task management, overall organization and team communication.
Intuitive UI, easy for non-technical roles to adopt
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use, has been one of the easiest solutions to adopt cross-departments
What do you dislike about the product?
Many integrations are browser extension overlays; this isn't an issue unless you are using their desktop app. Making integrations work across platforms would increase adoption and allow us to integrate more
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management, client visibility, cross-department work management, intake request processing, managed services, professional services, marketing engagements, etc.
Project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to learn. Easy to add other users. Easy to navigate. My favorite thing about the app is the unicorns and rainbows you get when marking a task as completed.
What do you dislike about the product?
There may be too many options. You can put comments in tasks, in messages, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is used primarily to ensure we stay on target for project deadlines and people are held accountable for their tasks. Once a project is completed, boards are marked as closed but the details are always accessible, which I like.
Asana is so Easy and Helpful!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a great tool for organizing our company's internal and external needs. I can set tasks for myself, teams, and outside vendors. It allows for project streamlining and provides me with a history of past projects, which is easy to search when looking for historical data. Also, who doesn't love the flying unicorns across the screen when you complete a project!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have any complaints. It has always been easy to navigate and use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross-Departmental organization. Ability to bring in outside players to specific projects. Overall it keeps us organized and saves time.
User friendly, automation functions could use some improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I love that asana is so simple to use, but has robust features for building out to-do lists, timelines and documenting additional details
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it is very easy for details to get buried several layers deep within the interface.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick reference of upcoming tasks and deadlines, with all the pertinent information right there!
Great Project Management tool
What do you like best about the product?
The scheduling, reminding and multi contribution capability are great
What do you dislike about the product?
Too many notifications, also takes some time to getting used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better inter team coordination and quicker outcomes and tracking
Strong Project Management Software with an array of integrations
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is easy to use and learn and has a ton of integrations to fit in perfectly into your marketing stack.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much I dislike about asana. Creating and sharing reports/saved views could be a bit easier to find.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps manage all tasks, processes and projects I am working on.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Would recommend checking out asana to see if it integrates with other tools in your stack. If you are getting started Asana is a solid project management tool to get started with and also works well for marketing calendars.
Free version is enough for small teams. Useful in managing projects
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Quite straightforward. I can manage tasks and projects and also see other team members' tasks on Asana.
Mobile version is also a plus point.
The recent update which allows me to view my tasks in Kanban mode is great.

The recent update which allows me to view my tasks in Kanban mode is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much.
I would say sometimes, it's not consistent between the mobile version and web version (e.g. the ability to add assign a subtask to a project)
I'd like a desktop version to avoid distracting with the web.
Also, the more feature Asana gives for users, the better it is.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need to know what tasks my team members are working on at a time. I need to have different views: by person, by project, by team. Asana is helping me all.
Also, Asana is having many templates to manage the team. So I can take advantage of those templates

Recommendations to others considering the product:
great low-cost option for a small team (at least). Take advantage of the templates. You can manage your whole workplace around Asana.
Nice productivity tool that doesn't overcomplicate workflows
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use, works across multiple devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
No major dislikes. Everything works great so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was having trouble staying on top of lots of tasks at the same time. Asana has helped me better visualize what needs to be done so that I can focus less on organization and more on execution.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great tool. Definitely a crowded market, but I didn't need to try any alternatives.
