Asana made my work much easier
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is quite beneficial in interaction between users and customers. In this particular project manager you are able to easily assign duties to individuals as well as attachments. It instantly presents the user with information that is up-to-date via e mail. We are able to develop a calendar and customized views. We are able to observe activities and add followers. We are able to also look at tasks of staff and set goals. We are able to also set permissions for users and projects which means you are able to use them and very easily speak with some other end users.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe it's so easy to get lost in a system or perhaps not know all its characteristics unless you've a specific command structure. I still believe I have to do a lot more analysis to create the best value of this particular tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Due to the number of functions offered by asana, it is very easy to get lost in the interface of this solution
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Find a means to explain the tasks of yours by organizing them from numerous points of view. For many giant projects we make use of the calendar view, and for tasks split into sections, the calendar view.

The ability to see join status and the ability for the multiple people to edit things at the same time.

The authentication experience...Single sign on integration isnt good

What do you like best about the product?
Asana allows all teams to list the different tasks to be done. Then to mark them when they are at the "in progress" stage and finally to note them "Completed" when they are finished. In addition, we can affiliate a task to someone, change people, add followers, put a date, add categories, add files ...
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana is a bit complicated for some features. I don't really like the calendar that lists the tasks. Also, for the last few months, we don't receive email at all when a task is affiliated to us or if there is an update of the task. So we set up Asana to receive notifications directly in Slack. It works pretty well and it's convenient. But if email could work again, it would be even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana allows us to organize ourselves. The main goal in our company is to be able to see the evolution of the different projects and to know which are the next priority tasks. This is a real asset to work in good conditions.

If you are looking to a way to find in only one place all tasks and projects of your company, don't hesitate to try and use Asana :)

What do you like best about the product?
Allows not only to build a creative PMS, but also to collaborate. Thank you for managing projects and working in general. Very easy to use and helps with collaboration.

Be very careful about your personal data and information for those who want to sign up for the free trial because they clearly want more than your usual for their actual product and service.

I began using it just recently, though I love it a lot, it helped the organization of mine a lot, at this point we are able to understand about all new activities and tasks in progress, on the additional hand, we must check out whether we've simply entered this platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana isn't really beneficial as a task management tool which calls for conditional and complicated use. Traditional pm program like MS Project is able to manage projects better compared to Asana.

Task management for the team has become much simpler and more efficient

Asana is a super easy to make use of platform, you do not have to be a pro to make use of this good program, it enables you to handle the projects of yours, save time and find results that are good, as well as provides a free choice which enables you to make use of its features before purchasing the item.
A Multi-collaboration tool that helps keeps teams and a company connected!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is such a useful tool to have, especially if your team has become fully remote. I like Asana because you can manage tasks and different projects across multiple departments and teams. It keeps track of who is responsible for each task and provides clear stages within a task and due dates. You can collaborate on so many projects with just this one tool but even better than that is it integrates with so many other products. Products like Slack, Hubspot, Google Chrome!
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I do not like about Asana is that I find it is not suitable for small teams or single projects. Because of its too many features and options, it can become too overwhelming for a very basic project that doesn’t need all these features. I tend to get decision fatigue when attempting to use it individually or for a small project and often do not use all of the tools it is capable of. Another dislike is that tasks can only be assigned to one person.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company and team are able to solve many problems by using Asana. We have been utilizing this product for our OKRs and tracking tasks for the tasks needed to complete them. It is so nice to see it laid out in a format where I know who is working on what and when it is due. Plus we can all share ideas in a centralized place that can be referenced in the future. Especially since my company has moved to fully remote for now, this product helps all of our teams connected. They are always adding new features and updates which is nice!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend if you need a system that is easy to use and somewhere you want to track or collaborate on projects. This is the platform to use! We use Asana for a ton of projects on a individual team and internal company basis. We currently started using the new goals feature to help track our quarterly OKRs and it is making it easier to stay on track and know who is working on what.

I enjoyed using Asana. It's streamlined and helped us stay on schedule and manage projects across large teams with many parts and timelines, even when very specialized information was involved.

There is no time tracking feature with Asana and you cannot assigned tasks to multiple people.

This completely online tool is the best, it allows you to create different workspaces, and within each of them, as many tasks or projects as necessary. I use it on both a personal and professional level, and I couldn't be happier. It can be used individually or collaboratively, it allows you to organize notes, ideas and reminders. It has beastly capabilities, and the best thing is that you can adapt them to your needs to make your life much more productive.
Once you have completed your projects, you can view it as you prefer: on the calendar, with the Kanban method, depending on the category or collaborator of the project you prefer ... This is what makes Asana the perfect tool for tracking any project.

This app is really practical in any type of business environment, although it is especially effective in the IT sector. For us it is vital to know what each member of the team is doing and to be able to divide the tasks in an efficient way. In addition, it allows colleagues who are located in different cities to synchronize and communicate quickly.
