Works great for organizing tasks
What do you like best about the product?
I like that to do items are super clear and everyone knows what tasks they need to be working on.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that I can't easily rank to do items and track how my coworkers are completing items.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm calling to action to-do items for our to dos, assigning due dates, and following up clearly when items are not completed. I've benefited because asana makes it very clear what task is in everyone's court.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great place to store all your to do items cross functionally across teams

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use interface. Ease of discovery. Screen Layout was very intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing model gets quite expensive are your collaborative team grows. The cost is twice that of other less-featured solutions. You need to make use of all the features for the value to be there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Colaborative progress. 3rd party integrations into Gmail and Outlook. We lose momentum on projects and Asana has helped greatly with keeping projects on track and identifying where the roadblocks exist quickly so we can keep things moving along. It does help to identify individuals who are not keeping up.

I have been using asana for quite some time and I have all I need so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Asana, we're able to track all steps in our project. Saves us so much time as well from having to move to different platforms for messaging, for calendar, etc.

I have tried other project management tools and Asana is by far the best. Very user friendly, complete with all functions I need to manage my projects

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the collboration features and being able to flawlessly connect and manage work flows, add due dates, create a master marketing calendar and that the program generates my task list to focus on prioeities.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn't anything that I don't like.

Asana helps our team become more efficient with our timelines, collaborate and manage all aspects with easy to do lists and dates to keep projects on track and out colleagues accountable.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a tool to manage your projects, tasks and subtasks, it has excellent tools and functions that give you an excellent experience when using this application, such as an excellent timeline view, custom fields, forms, panels, it allows you Add the start dates to your projects, you can use the progress view or advanced information search, it also has excellent functions such as administrative controls, priority support and also allows you to create private teams and projects. You can also run large organizations, it allows you to integrate with restricted applications like Salesforce and Adobe CC, and you can customize your rules.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I dislike about Asana, because it is a tool to manage your work, your tasks and perform work among a group of people, and it allows you to keep track of all your tasks and all the information related to them too, as well as expiration dates. Asana is really a very flexible tool, you decide what job to track and how to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Now with Asana I can handle all my work in a much more expert way, allowing me to handle complex projects such as creating a product launch or a marketing campaign, and it has an excellent help guide which includes tutorial webinars and much plus. Ana shown to be an extremely intuitive tool, she also has excellent worksheets that help throughout the process.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend it because it is a software that over time has incorporated unique tools, which allow you to customize Asana in your own way, which makes it an extremely flexible tool. Asana is not a simple traditional project management software as it is designed to handle all types of project-based work.
Asana: More than meets the eye!
What do you like best about the product?
Recently, Asana updated their UI. It's broken down into 4 sections: Work, Plan, Workflow, and Company. This change really helps you categorize everything you have in Asana and quickly find what you're looking for. Asana has also introduced AI into several areas of their platform. The areas where I use AI are in the messaging/response area and the project creation area. This is very helpful with day-to-day tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
My company is on the Starter plan, which includes many features, but I wish the plans were broken up more clearly. Several features are partially included with the Starter plan but require upgrading to the Advanced plan to use them fully.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used Asana for three years strictly as a task management solution for our Event App. Recently, I have started to use Asana for several different areas of our business. Asana allows us to keep everything in one place and also allows us to integrate with Google Forms and Zendesk. Asana solved our issue of having information in several different places. Asana has helped us stay organized and operate more efficiently.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana can be used in multiple different ways. It is so easy to communicate directly with employees and clients directly from each project. Asana will keep you organized and it will keep you on track to meet deadlines that you might have. It is easy to invite outside users to specific projects, and you can also control the access for each user.

What i like about Asana is that its very easy to use,intuitive 24/7 customer support via live chat and emails.

So far so good,its been 4 years since it as was successfully deployed in our organisation and i can say i have no drawbacks.

Asana helps to keep all projects in my program,organized and on track. It saves time reducing distractions and work more productively by centralising teams work.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to manage different projects with all of my team members and supervisors. You can share mockups and designs in the projects so that it is a one-stop-shop!

I dislike that you can create tasks within a task, and sometimes it can send you down a rabbit hole of never-ending tasks. It can then be challenging to stay organized.

We are solving the problem of not having the proper communication on all of our different projects. Asana makes sure that everyone is up to date and aware of what is going on.

I recommend that you give your teams a game plan of how to implement and use it. That way, there is a standard for every team, and there are no inconsistencies.
Best software for project management
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to use the platform. From project creating, tasks creation, collaboration, etc - it's all done within the application. Inviting people from other organizations to collaborate is also really easy in terms of levels of permissions. The user interface is great as well. Everything in thte software is very intuivtive and makes sense as a logical next step.
I am a big fan of "the quote what doesn't get tracked, doesn't get managed." Asana is the best tool to track and manage all sorts of projects. I'm a fan of the dependencies as well as their reporting. This allows me to spot bottle necks in the process and communicate with the necessary parties to get it taken care of.

What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of many things I dislike. I would, however, appreciate it if they created a solo plan. Also, I don't like the fact that I cannot update more than 50 tasks at a time, and if I select more than 99 tasks, it just says 99+ as opposed to an actual number. Project management, task management, team alignment. If today's day and age, where the workforece is becoming more and more remote, it's imperative to use software like this. Asana makes it easy collaborate with team members globally. The dependencies feature allows you to spot bottlenecks so you can meet with the individual or team to get to the bottom of the issue and get the task done.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out. When you compare it to other competitors like Monday.com, you'll see that Asana comes out ahead. In terms of UI, ease of use and community support, Asana comes out ahead. I enjoy going to their local meetups to learn more about their product. Asana Academy is also a good resource.

Asana isa good collaborative tool. We can work with several colleagues on it.

With Asana, It is very difficult to use. It is not intuitive enough.

With Asana, I can manage my team's tasks and overview what is left to do. I can also prioritize my tasks and see them on a timeline.
