I use Asana to track credentialing documents and deadlines—it keeps me organized.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Asana is how it lets you organize tasks, set deadlines, and store documents all in one place—making it easy to stay on top of everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful part of Asana is the help center—there’s no live support or number to call when you need immediate help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As someone who does medical credentialing, staying organized is non-negotiable—and Asana has been a game changer for me. I use it to keep track of all the critical documents, deadlines, and payer-specific requirements. Whether it’s expiration dates for licenses, follow-up reminders, or storing files like W-9s and malpractice insurance, Asana helps me stay on top of everything in one place.

The ability to assign tasks, set due dates, and upload attachments directly to each credentialing workflow has helped me avoid missing important details. It’s flexible enough for both ongoing projects and last-minute updates. Highly recommend it for anyone juggling multiple clients or working in a detail-heavy field like healthcare administration.

Asana is the only platform that will make your business thrive.

What do you like best about the product?
I like using Teams the most because I can organize everything neatly for each project. It's very easy to use, and I can integrate it with Slack through Asana. When a project is updated, it sends a notification to a specific channel created just for that project, which helps ensure my team stays on task and works effectively. Teams also help my team stay engaged and monitor their progress, so they don’t fall off track.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven’t thought much about what I dislike about Asana, but pricing is one area that feels a bit excessive for a small business like mine. That said, I still have many reasons for choosing Asana. I believe Asana should revisit its pricing structure to better support small businesses—ensuring it's both reasonable and aligned with smaller budgets, rather than feeling overpriced or out of reach.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
N/A

Fluid & Useful Work Management Tool

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy using Asanas app. The process to setup a project was pretty simple, templates are helpful. Task templates have made life even easier. I like the rules, and workflows I can setup that has made automation of some tasks really easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've had Asana totally crash on me when I try to integrate it with slack. Every time i try to use an external connector like Slack or Salesforce, the task i am setting up has crashed and I've had to start over. It usually takes 1 or 2 tries before setting it up, which can be frustrating. I would also like the option to choose the channel after the rule has been set. For instance, the rule will run pop up appears for me to select the slack channel and msg goes out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves a lot of time with the way the projects can be setup. The templates make it easy for us to duplicate our projects and resources.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes too many options/features. I really need to take those Asana courses available on the site.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to collaborate with less unnecessary communication.

A strategic platform with room to grow. Great potential for cross-functional project management

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a powerful platform for managing cross-functional work. Its flexibility allows us to design templates, workflows, and automation rules that support both internal and client-facing needs. The ability to use different views (list, board, timeline, etc.) makes it easy to adapt to different project types and stakeholder preferences. We also appreciate its strong collaboration features (comments, subtasks, and integrations) which keep teams aligned and transparent.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana’s current limitations in template flexibility, reporting depth, and calendar integrations present challenges. Many of our templates require manual revision, and automation rules can be unreliable when scaled across projects. Reporting dashboards lack the robustness needed for historical tracking and executive-level insights.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps us centralize project communication, increase transparency, and reduce reliance on disconnected tools like spreadsheets and email. It's solving the problem of fragmented project visibility by providing one source of truth for timelines, updates, and risks. It’s also streamlining how we manage recurring project workflows and enabling our Delivery Operations team to create scalable project structures.

What do you like best about the product?
It is an intuitive software you can start using it without any prior knowledge and if needed the support team is very accommodating.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some amazing features, mainly AI related ones are only available with subscription. I wish they would give out free tokens weekly like some other AI services do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it's helping me keep track of the different projects I'm involved in.

Asana Scales Client Delivery

  • May 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is incredibly intuitive. Whether it’s an account manager creating a new onboarding checklist or a designer tracking creative revisions, the learning curve is minimal. Most team members get up and running without formal training. We implemented Asana across teams within two weeks. Templates helped us replicate processes across client accounts quickly. A bit of upfront effort was needed to standardize workflows, but once that was done, adoption was smooth.
Support is responsive, especially through email and the knowledge base. However, live support/chat is missing in some plans, which would be useful during implementation or when troubleshooting workflow issues. Asana is part of our daily rhythm. From internal huddles to weekly client reviews, almost every task, comment, or follow-up is logged and tracked in Asana. It acts as our agency’s central nervous system.
There’s a rich set of features—Timelines, custom fields, Forms, workload management, task dependencies, and automation rules. However, some advanced features require a higher-tier plan, which might not be viable for smaller teams.
Integrates well with Slack, Google Drive, Zoom, and even HubSpot (with third-party connectors). That said, some integrations (like real-time reporting in Data Studio) require workarounds or paid tools like Unito or Zapier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Notification Fatigue: If not configured properly, the volume of email or app notifications can be excessive, especially across multiple projects.

No Built-in Time Tracking: This is a significant gap for service-based agencies. We had to integrate a separate tool to track time on billable tasks for client invoicing and resource planning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana solves one of the biggest challenges we face as an agency: lack of visibility and alignment across cross-functional teams working on multiple client accounts. Before Asana, we relied heavily on Slack threads, emails, and scattered spreadsheets, which often led to missed deadlines, unclear responsibilities, and communication gaps.
