Efficient Workflows, Needs Better Data Export

What do you like best about the product?
I like the shared communication and workflows with rules for automation in Asana. The ability to change views, like calendar, board, and list views, is also really helpful. We use sections for 'pipelines' that automatically add rules and approvals at different stages, which is great for processes like hiring and content creation. This allows team members to see previous notes and track what is scheduled for delivery, with tasks being reassigned to the appropriate team member at each step.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find exporting data from Asana terrible, very messy, and basically unusable. We should have had more clear guidelines for how to use it, as we encounter some team members not using it at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana to share tasks and approvals within my department, automate workflows, and track processes. It lets us see project stages and reassign tasks efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?
We use it as a task manager to manage the daily workload, the clean and efficient look, and the option of customizing the rules for my needs are amazing

I would appreciate more flexibility with the rules

We use Asana from the very beginning, so I'm not sure what problems we would've had without Asana

What do you like best about the product?

I have no negative and complaint about Asana's digital features and tools resources, I have really provide for easy operation utility and fast implementation.

Asana has facilitated the automation for my project management processes, solving problem of imbalanced workloads and fragmented communication. Using its issues tracking and resource allocation tools, I have been able to improve the quality of my professional operations, ensuring commercial practices and strategic goals.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is clean and easy to understand at first. Creating tasks, assigning people, and setting deadlines is simple. It looks nice and feels organised when projects are small

As projects grow, it starts to feel cluttered. Too many tasks and notifications make it hard to focus. Some useful features are locked behind paid plans, which limits flexibility over time

Asana helps organise tasks and track who is doing what. It’s useful for basic project coordination, but for more complex workflows it didn’t feel strong enough for long term use

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Asana is the user interface, it is very intuitive and easy to navigate even for new joiners. I really like the 'Timeline' view because it helps me visualize the project roadmap clearly. Also, the ability to create subtasks and assign them to different people makes breaking down big tasks very simple. The integration with Slack is also very seamless which we use daily
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the notifications can get frustrating if you are with f many projects, Also, I feel the reporting features could be more advanced in the basic plan, right now we have to export data to excel for deep analysis. The mobile app is good but sometimes it is a bit slow to load when data is huge
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were struggling with managing multiple projects across different teams and relying to much on emails and spreadsheets. It was getting chaotic to track who is working on what. Asana solved the visibility issue for us. Now we can track the progress of tasks in real time and it helps in reducing the internal meetings for status updates. It brings clarity on deadlines and ownership which was missing earlier in our workflow

What do you like best about the product?
I like the unicorns in Asana. They're fun and they reinforce accomplishing tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The layout can be a bit overwhelming sometimes. I could maybe use clearer visual delineation between tasks and between sections.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana for tracking tasks and projects at a nonprofit, keeping tabs on tasks so I don't have to remember everything.

What do you like best about the product?
Powerful features, ability to customize it just about any way you need. Great user interface.

There are a few seemingly simple features I see requested in their forum that have not been addressed in a long time.

Easy way to keep track of progress on big projects, easy to summarize work completed, cross-functional visibility into collaborative projects.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Asana intuitive and really appreciate how it helps organize tasks by internal company team. The user interface makes sense and it’s easy to add different subtasks, and assign other people to projects. This ease shortens the time needed to assign tasks, which gives me more time to execute them. Setting up Asana was very easy too; I just installed it, created an account, added it to teams, and I was done.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the integration with Google Calendar to be lacking. Right now, standard Asana doesn't integrate with Google Calendar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana for project management as it helps to organize tasks and keep deadlines in mind. The user interface is intuitive, making it easy to add subtasks and assign tasks, which shortens the time needed for task assignment.

Smooth Transition to Effective Task Management with Asana

What do you like best about the product?
I use Asana to track due dates for licenses and inspections, which helps ensure we can see upcoming projects and prepare for them in advance. I find it easy to use, allowing me to take time off without needing to update someone on my project status. I like that I can write my notes in Asana and they become available to the team, improving our communications. It’s also easy to onboard new staff onto the app. I have Asana integrated into my Chrome and Microsoft tools. The transition was smooth compared to using Excel for project tracking, and the setup took about a week with a lot of tasks under our department. Since then, it has been smooth sailing. I really like Asana and wish my company would upgrade our membership.
