Easy to use and stay organized
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Asana is super easy to use. You can quickly create projects, sections, sub-tasks, and even sub-sub tasks. You can assign tasks out to individuals, add due dates, make the task dependent on other tasks being done first, and more. The animations for completing a task are also very satisfying. We love how it's very easy to submit requests as well. One person can fill out a form and then it will automatically create a task in Asana and assign it to the right individual.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's hard to get to a sub-task (or a sub-sub task). I wish there was a better view for that, but otherwise, I am very pleased with it. I also wish there was a way to hide all of the task updates. For example, if you edit a description for a task, the bottom of the task will say "John Smith updated the description 2 hours ago." When you make a lot of changes and start adding it other projects and assigning it out, the list gets very long. I wish there was a way to show/hide the task history. It's not that big of a deal, but it is something that would be nice.
One other thing to improve would be the forms. You can create your own custom form, but some of the options are limited. I would like it to be more robust.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are more organized and can collaborate across teams more easily. We can plan ahead and know which projects we will be working on during the quarter. We know who is accountable and where to get information about a project or task.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I haven't tried other project management software, but Asana has a free version you can try out.
Favorite Task Management System for Myself and Our Team!
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part about Asana is the ability to go multiple levels deep for projects and tasks. I like that each subtask can be assigned with a due date. I also like how all of "My Tasks" are separated out so that I don't have to go into each individual project to figure out what I should be working on. Asana is great for collaborating on projects with others - I like how easy it is to drag & drop files into the tasks. Asana performs well on my cell phone and my iPad as well. I like that it updates cross-device so that I can always have the most up-to-date info and also add things on-the-go. I love the ability to forward emails into projects in Asana so that I don't lose track of things and can keep my inbox clear.
I like that the free version of Asana is fully functional and offers great features (although there are very tempting things in the paid version)!
I love the integration with Zapier so that we can use Google Forms to automate tasks coming from outside our team.
I also like the ability to add people outside our organization (like a graphic designer) to collaborate on tasks with limited permissions.

What do you dislike about the product?
There have been a couple instances of Asana going down and I was not able to access the platform at all during that time. It is difficult to commit to using the platform wholly and then realize how totally reliant you are upon it once it's not available.
I don't like that you have to upgrade all users in an organization to a paid subscription. I'd prefer to have the ability to choose on a user-level because we have some team members that use it much more than others and would benefit from the paid portion. But do not want to over-pay for the team members who don't take advantage of it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have had a few problems nailing down Zapier processes, but always able to figure it out. Sometimes the fields as they appear in Asana are not ideal for that connection, but we make it work!
Our team has been able to drastically cut down on email communication back and forth, which has been incredibly helpful!

Recommendations to others considering the product:
When considering Asana, I recommend fully committing to it to test it. It works best when your whole team is bought in. Our Marketing Team all uses it and cannot speak highly enough about it. We have helped other teams implement it in our organization as well and have found the best success when everyone is willing to fully commit for a couple weeks to really test it out.
I recommend playing around with the platform to find what task/project structure works best for you and your workflow. It is different for everyone!

Asana - one of the best Project Management tools out there
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has a limitless number of capabilities for setting up/managing/closing out projects. With a wide variety of how to view/track a project, it can be customized in a way that best suits any needs
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be too overwhelming, but the customization is helpful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to track projects/tasks down much easier, and having somewhere to document/discuss everything creates a great audit trail in case we need to backtrack for whatever reason
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is highly customize-able, and the time to set everything up properly takes time but is worth the investment.
We moved from Clarizen One to Asana and I couldn't be happier
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use - both for the PM & end user. We are able to attach all our files and assets in one place, keep track of our communications schedule for the whole team, and communicate effectively across teams.
And, of course, the unicorns and rainbows flying across the screen when a task is completed is certainly a plus!

What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't connect to MS Outlook for communication within our team. We have had to get used to checking our Asana inbox throughout the day since the messages we send through Asana don't go through Outlook. It's been a bit of an adjustment since we were used to getting notices in Clarizen when someone was communicating with us. But, once we made the adjustment, it's no longer an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's significantly easier to set up projects than Clarizen One. In addition, it's cleaner and easier to determine what tasks are due and when they are due. I also like the ease of searching for tasks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Download the free trial and try using it alongside your current system to give yourself time to evaluate.
Great way for our team to collaborate and manage tasks
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to bring people in to a task by tagging them. I also love that there's a few different ways to view your tasks, calendar is great for content where as list is helpful for working through a project's backlog of tasks.
It's also good to be able to create sub tasks within subtasks, each with their own assignee and due date.

What do you dislike about the product?
I can't really think of any, I guess the abundance of emails is the only one I can think of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps our team collaborate on projects, tasks and calendars.
LOVE ASANA. 10/10 would reccommend
What do you like best about the product?
I love everything about asana. I use it constantly to keep my tasks and daily life organized. I can assign project to other people, see what other people have on their task list, store files and share them. You can make your tasks private or public. Super simple and straight forward.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing that I don't like about asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization. I no longer use a planner since I can easily use this and change things around with a click of a button.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want something to help organize your task list Asana is the platform to use. You and your team can collaborate on projects, you can assign tasks to and vice versa. Super easy to use.
We increased our workflow with Asana.
What do you like best about the product?
You can find numerous ways to enhance performance in Asana, both in the long and short term. To begin with, the interface design is incredibly handy and intuitive, and the primary features of Asana are actually the functions that make folks happy to be organized, like viewing jobs, establishing the actual date and time, organizing jobs within the project and adding subtasks to tasks. Additionally, Asana provides a completely different level of confidentiality for everything you introduce. You are able to manage who sees what, what access is actually available and look for things for the staff members of yours.
What do you dislike about the product?
The majority of the things I hated when I first began using Asana software have been revised. The one thing left for me on the wish list is actually the capability to assign duties to much more than a single person.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've increased the workflow to hold team members responsible and make sure that all stakeholders receive status updates and never have to ask for them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For Asana to help you, the whole staff of her must be on our board. In case several of the staff do not use it, it will not work.
Best project management software
What do you like best about the product?
The Visuals, User Interface seems smooth. Navigating within the app is super flexible, assigning tasks, updating priorities and permission roles to specific jobs can be managed by a super admin.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not satisfied with the pricing, more features needed to be added in trial version, the basic features are just a burden.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All tasks can be managed within a single page, assigning tasks to employees and partitioning the overall workloads is easy and practical'
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Streamlined product, straight forward and yet recommendable!
Asana Review Comments.
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a transparent project management company with a teamwork skills program, which is fine. The needless functions or alternatives really aren't confused or overwhelmed. Asana allows designing, appointing then collaborating alongside teammates conveniently.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have not noticed any challenges with Asana Tool at this point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We should be using Asana to work cooperatively with everyone's project and coordinate and control application data.
Asana Review.

The project can be easily created. Everybody could customize documents as well as append them to activities. Categorizing given tasks for several individuals to be communicated via email.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mostly it appears to work slowly because once users figure out how to deal with several tasks simultaneously.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We get to use the platform, whereby certain activities like role allocations, generating tickets, assigning bugs and so much more can be very easily managed.
