Useful but not exceptional
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the ability to assign tasks with dates to my team , and to track the progress of a project. The interface is quite fun and it is nice to be rewarded with some animation when completing a task.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like the constant push to upgrade to paid ASANA- we are a small nonprofit and cannot afford it. I also do not like the bombardment of emails even though we are tracking tasks through the app. I feel that often the user interface, while fun, can be a bit distracting and cluttered, especially when doing a complex workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The best part of ASANA is that I can assign tasks to individual team members, however it is frustrating that I must make subtasks to assign it to multiple people (this may be solved by upgrading to the paid version, but unfortunately that is not attainable to us. Multiple tasks and groups allow me to be able to organize by project and team members, but that is not always prudent to the task at hand; it would be better for me to have actually have fewer options and clutter.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend looking into ASANA's unpaid version before buying. If there is enough there for you to manage your business you should go for it. Since there are limits on the free version, make sure that your organization is small enough to fit into ASANA entirely.

there are not a lot of other project management features besides a to-do list. no timeline, issue tracking, cost analysis, etc.

Asana is a very versatile and truly functional tool.
I love the administration utilities it provides and the ease with which I can use them, in addition to its intuitive and user-friendly interface. I like Asana a lot, since with it I can keep the tasks and activities of the team fully coordinated, organized and always underway, also, it allows me to manage each task according to each team member, it allows me to validate the results of each one by measuring the times of fulfilling each task executed, as well as offering me the possibility of sharing files, documents and data that allow others to carry out their assignments. Another point is that it allows me to prioritize and categorize tasks, to be able to assign the accomplishment of the most important tasks and their daily development, as well as allows me to see the tasks and sub tasks in organized tables and tables.
This tool is one of the few that allows to keep a total control and administration of the tasks and projects. Men love Asana.

My only non-negative point but if the prices are observed, from 10 dollars per user, I would like it to be a more accessible price since in my company there are more than 100.

I am pleased with this application for being an excellent methodology for planning and directing the software manufacturing processes.

The application is a dynamic, energetic and cooperative tool in my work activities so I have no comments to add about it.

Asana is a wonderful work tool for the assignment of special projects which makes it collaborative in terms of: stability, equality, proportion and harmony that must exist for the amount of activity that can be assigned to a given project and its team. It is of great benefit to promote the performance allows the visual verification of the tasks of the team members and the possible excesses of tasks.

I recommend this application to be complete for the programming area, and follow-up of activities in work teams that need to be completed in periods of time previously defined.

Create team sync meetings to go through tasks, keeping communicating in the Asana platform to make sure there is knows where tasks are in the process.

The subtask feature is great for dividing up work within our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inbox feature could be easier to view. Also after deleting a member who no longer works with us, she still shows up on lots of assignments.

Dividing roles up for different projects. Not forgetting about certain tasks within a project. Being able to kick tasks back and forth as they progress helps things move along efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to not only manage tasks but also contain threads of conversations to tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI for subtask details can be hidden. I offer a suggestion to expand and contract/hide them more easily, perhaps just the description field, with a character limitation of course, and then a go-to-task button to see the rest including comments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management and scheduling priority. The Inbox and My Tasks gives a good overview of load and timeline requirement as it aggregates with other projects, keeping in mind other workspaces (clients).

This is a good option over a few task managers if you don’t want to create separate SaaS account for communication, e.g. Slack.
