Helps keep my project management on track

What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to use and assign tasks to other team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was one price per month for a team instead of paying per team member. This is only one portion of our business and it's more expensive some other tools we use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us manage all aspects of each project. I just assign tasks to other team members and they see what they have to do instead of us waiting to meet.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As a marketing agency, with every project come many tasks all with their own due dates. Asana keeps us on track and moving in the right direction towards the end of the project.

A helpful prioritization tool in my organization

What do you like best about the product?
Asana has become an alternative to google docs for me. It allows me to share a high level update/status on my work without going too "in the weeds." It also helps me greatly with project prioritization and re-prioritization.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes some getting used to in terms of subtasks and getting the board hierarchy exactly as you would like it. Sometimes, it is tough to show the true status on a big project with a lot of subparts. Perhaps better suited to smaller projects and tasks as opposed to larger overarching ones.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a partially remote employee, it is easy to share a quick project status via my board outside of our weekly touch base meetings. It has helped me streamline my workflow, and provide high level updates to my supervisor.

A great tool to use for all organizations

What do you like best about the product?
It is incredibly user friendly and simple to use. It was easy to onboard the team. It also aids in accountability of tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the Kanban boards were a part of the default/base version. You can get away with making them in the Project Board view, but I think the more fleshed out version of the actual Kanban setup would've been helpful. It's expensive for small teams to upgrade.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Accountability for tasks, seeing where communication failures occurred, tracking individual performance, but overall accountability for tasks and projects.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to assign tasks with due dates and times to emphasize when a project is time sensitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am still getting used to using Asana for my own tasks. I wish it Could interact with my gmail account and live on my email page like google tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We benefit from being able to upload task and assign them to someone. Once it’s complete I am notified via email.

What do you like best about the product?
I think it's very easy to navigate and makes easy to work with a team of people. I liked the organization of the task and being able to keep a thread of comments going. It was also nice to see my coworkers progress and being able to follow it. This made it simple to know where tasks and projects were at within the company.
What do you dislike about the product?
The built in timer always seems to be an issue with our team. I think there should be a clearer way to activate a timer for tasks. Our work relies on knowing time spent on client's tasks so this is important for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's made working with a team super easy and clear. We are able to be on calls and know exactly where to look and find client tasks. It makes it easy to work on a team and keeps everything organized.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it. We had to quickly switch to a new management program and Asana was easy to get started with.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to start new projects, add the relevant co-workers, and assign tasks to them
What do you dislike about the product?
Not straightforward to use. Need to get familiar in order to use quickly and take advantage of all features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me to be on top of the progress we make on each project. We always know who responsible for what and we can track performance in a timely manner much better than before.

What do you like best about the product?
Great way to keep organized and collaborate with coworkers. Easy to keep track of tasks, due dates, and progress on projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the calendar feature was more like Google Calendar. I also would like something that makes it easier to put in tasks that need to be done daily. Recurring tasks that show up automatically the next day even when you complete them one day would work maybe.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping my work and home tasks organized and on track. When I feel like I have too much free time and have forgotten what I should be working on, I can always check Asana.

What do you like best about the product?
The task boards are very flexible and allow you to change views to lists, calendars, or timelines. It's also easy to filter and sort tasks and to create tasks that depend on other tasks, have subtasks and are shared between multiple people. Asana for business also allows teams to easily get an overview of everyone's workload.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be useful to be able to group projects more clearly. For example, 'emails' may require several projects, so it would be good to be able to clearly mark them as related for ease of discovery.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transparency in and across teams is easier since we were previously using different task managers that weren't connected. It also easily allows us to see how much work we can take on as a team.

Great program for small and large teams to keep track of projects

What do you like best about the product?
I found Asana to be extremely helpful in tracking projects. Whether you have a large team or a smaller team, it's a great collaboration tool for creatives. In my experience, it can be used across teams and projects, and is a great workflow management tool. It's very flexible and mobile with great desktop and mobile versions. And the great feeling you get when you check a project as done and are rewarded with an animated unicorn and rainbows is priceless.
What do you dislike about the product?
If there were budgeting software built in to this, this would be perfect for the agency I work for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love the daily reminders I get when a project is nearing a due date - it really helps keep me on top of my to-do list.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have a team that has a lot of different types of projects with multiple deadlines, this is a great program to try - you can even trial it for less than 15 users.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana makes it super easy to organize my tasks and tasks for my team. I'm in it every single day, using different features and making sure our team keeps up with all of their responsibilities. The Board features is my favorite - I love being able to clearly see the progress of tasks and how they are moving through the cycle.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing - I think the tool is great and I can't think of anything that should be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage several people, and before Asana I didn't have a lot of insight into what they were accomplishing each day. I love Asana.
