Great for Collaboration, But Overwhelming Setup Options
What do you like best about the product?
I like that different departments can work together seamlessly and simultaneously. I like that it can be used as a living and breathing "Source of Truth" for projects that multiple stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me the downside is the vastness of it all. The endless setup options actually spike my anxiety because anyone can set up whichever way they want, and differing naming conventions for tasks etc can lead to confusion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problem was multiple projects living in multiple places, and not having a central "Source of Truth". We are working on making this the definitive place we keep information on projects so anyone involved can check status, etc, whenever they need.
Clarity in Contract Management, Needs Time Management Fix
What do you like best about the product?
I like seeing everything very clearly listed in Asana, especially the dependencies that are within it. It just helps me keep a project going because I can see all the steps very clearly and how they play into each other. The automations that they have are really nice too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't like that in the year in review it said it saved me a bunch of time because sometimes managing it is a lot of time. That felt like a disconnect. Sometimes I'm wondering if it actually does that. I feel like sometimes they tote AI a little bit too much. There's something about humans managing things that's nice too.

Asana helps me keep everything in the contract organized and process steps clearly, making it easier to see dependencies and manage contracts effectively.

Progress tracking and due dates help teams stay aligned and on schedule. We utilize Asana every single day for every single project our team has, which says a lot about the program.

Asana can feel overwhelming due to the number of features and views available. New users often face a learning curve during onboarding. Managing notifications and settings can become time-consuming.

Intuitive Project Management That Boosts Team Productivity
What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Asana is its intuitive interface for managing tasks and planning projects. It simplifies the process of organizing work, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring progress across different teams. The various visual views—such as list, board, and timeline—make it easier to see priorities and deadlines at a glance. Additionally, the automations and integrations help minimize manual effort and ensure everything stays in sync. Overall, Asana enhances collaboration and transparency, allowing teams to remain aligned and productive.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of Asana is that its wide range of features and configuration options can be overwhelming for newcomers. Many advanced tools, like timelines, goals, and reporting, are only available in more expensive plans, which may lead to higher costs as your team grows. Furthermore, if projects and rules are not managed thoughtfully, it is easy to experience notification overload.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana addresses the issue of fragmented work and limited visibility among teams by bringing tasks, projects, and timelines together in a single platform. It streamlines coordination, clarifies who is responsible for what, and allows us to monitor progress in real time. As a result, our collaboration improves, deadlines are less likely to be missed, accountability is strengthened, and everyone remains focused on shared priorities. Ultimately, this leads to more efficient execution and better outcomes for our projects.
