What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be less than intuitive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lots of details that otherwise I'd have to ask for since I wouldn't remember, precise documentation of my tasks.
10/10 Project Management Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Using Asana has given us the ability to create multiple, separate projects. I love the fact that we can delegate various tasks to our team members and guaranteeing they get a message and a job that is attached to their own profile. It is a way of creating accountability for the tasks they own. Also the email notifications are a great aspect, all in all this great tool allows us to keep things organised and functional
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana has made a breakthrough due to all of the features that have been developed, it is quite a simple and straight forward tool to use and it accomplished a fast adjustment to the Interface it provides, but I have had some negative factors that significantly affected the experience I had with this system, such as the fact we currently not able to create group projects from our mobile devices as well as some notification issues we have experiencing where notifications come through from previous tasks that have been marked as completed, so there is still room for improvement
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This great tool has helped us make our job easier and better, this platform helps us to exchange all kinds of information and material in real time, and also enables us to handle all our tasks and events efficiently.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend you start with the Free version of this great tool and see how you get on, if you find yourself comfortable and need more functionality then I recommend upgrading to the paid version, make sure you have an Active internet connection as well just to make sure the tasks get synced across and information gets loss.
Good for team collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
A lot of tasks and possibilities to choose from and planning tools for PMs
What do you dislike about the product?
Very easy to break or change something, not clear navigation
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking company's projects, solving bugs, keeping deadlines on time
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get a good training before using this system.
One of the best task management app for small team
What do you like best about the product?
In the free plan, we will get a basic dashboard, unlimited tasks, projects, and conversations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana is an excellent software that has helped our organization improve productivity when there are many users in the same project, in the time we have using asana, we have not found anything negative to say about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Flow and task management. It really helps my team to track their progress.
I would seriously be lost without Asana
What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to set up a project and adds in tasks when in a rush. It's extremely easy to invite people to join your organization. I find the option of being able to view tasks in both a list and board view very useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't like about Asana is that you can't assign tasks to multiple people. Teams are the foundation of most companies and it's rare in ours that one task is managed by one person.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use this as a quick way to jot down ideas, suggestions, and tasks when communicating with clients and then I can come back and expand on the tasks with more details when I have more time. Adding in sections to distinguish priority and time-frames is nice as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is literally my saving grace in my ability to get things done, not drop the ball, and stay organized every single day. Easy to navigate great mobile and desktop interfaces great help options easy to toggle between screens allows cross-project interaction
Asana makes task management easy
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to add tasks and create projects with Asana.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could use a better tutorial for learning how to use Asana.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps us to assign tasks to employees. With transparency for all it encourages completion of tasks.
Distribute your work easily with asana
What do you like best about the product?
With Asana I can work more efficiently because it allows me to order tasks and share them with my work team, its interface is very interactive and has excellent animated effects, it allows me to create templates for different types of projects and I can also configure my calendar to not forget any.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to customize the cards more by adding logos or labels to be able to differentiate them more quickly, in terms of their price it is a bit high and it depends on the amount of people in my team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a business tool with which my team and I can work in a more orderly manner, its notification system always keeps us aware of the activities that are about to expire.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Before starting to work your project with Asana, it was recommended to verify if this management software has what is necessary for you.
Straightforward Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is fairly intuitive. You set up a project, add tasks and deadlines, and assign to your team. You can set reminders and gauge your teams progress. It takes very little training to use its basic functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The number of reminders can get annoying. When you are working on a very long-term project, daily reminders can seem unnecessary. Also, functions outside of the basics are less-intuitive to learn.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana simplifies project management. When it is hard to see how you can tackle a 6-month or year-long project, Asana helps you map out your goal.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a project management software, this is it. It is very much worth the investment.
Good but not great
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is helpful in many ways. The most important is setting up tasks and to do lists. The thing I found most helpful with Asana is that i can assign different members of our team tasks and they would get a notification about the update. There are many ways to make sure workflow is organized and every person of your team is up-to-date with all the projects. I do like that the iOS application is just as efficient to use as the desktop web version.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some problems I found with Asana is that is was too simple. When handling big-contract projects there were times I wished I could be more detailed in my tasks instead of just setting up sub-tasks on top of the main task. I personally think the price point is a bit high for small teams. Using the free plan its like I was limiting my team and thus actually making us unproductive because of so. I also dislike that there is no app in the Windows store to use. You cannot download any version to run as a standalone desktop application either. -- which would really be handy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems we are solving with Asana is disorganization. There are times when it is hard for small team to stay on top of tasks. With Asana we are able to do that with ease.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure your whole team is using it. Try other project management software's first. You do not want to get too involved or even pay for one that you do not like. They have a free trial, but that only goes so far. Try others out and test which one works for you.
The free version is good, the paid one is even better.
What do you like best about the product?
Asana manages to keep me and my team on track and in communication, which is impressive. I think this would be really good for all teams, but especially for remote ones. It's easy to manage projects, tasks, and subtasks, see status updates and calendars with all the due dates. With the paid version, you can create project templates and milestones that are very useful for saving time. Asana is very customizable.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you have a really small team, you might be paying for staff you don't have, as the minimum number of employees is 5. Additionally, there is no default way to display tasks. By default, it does not sort tasks by project or due date.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana makes it easy to keep all team members on the same page. It makes it very clear who is doing what and when it should be done.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have used this product for about four years and it has always kept me organized for both large and small client accounts. It has been great overall. I have never had to contact support for anything really and that says a lot about them.
