Asana keeps my tasks and projects organized
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is easy to navigate and has an intuitive interface. The search feature functions well so its hard to lose anything. Forms have helped to standardize incoming requests. The ability to switch between list and board views within projects helps speed up some bulk actions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Bulk uploads can be a bit tricky. When setting task dependencies, it only allows you to select from the last ~10 tasks that were created/edited. For a while, Asana allowed the use of Portfolios, which increased how organized our team's space was, but then they revoked that feature so we lost any progress made there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team uses Asana to track projects, plan and assign sprint tasks, and organize incoming team requests.
Helps with Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Asana allows for very organized project management and collaboration amongst the team. We can indicate which tasks we have completed, as well as, seeing which tasks are yet to be completed amongst the team. I also really like how you can move tasks through different steps as they are finished.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how cluttered the tasks are. It makes it look unorganized and difficult to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has held each member of the team responsible for their tasks.
Way for me to be organized
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I am able to be more organized at work. I can save my files or document to do lists for the day and it is easily accessible.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't like that I cant share my documents as easily as I can with google suite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Every day of work I had to come up with a daily schedule for my interns to complete. I also had to utilize asana for my weekly to do list. It was definitely beneficial.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use Asana for any weekly projects or to do lists to get done. It is easily accessible.
Lots of information to sort through...
What do you like best about the product?
The idea behind Asana is great. It's a good way to organize information that is being shared between different organizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe I didn't have enough experience, but the view I had in Asana seemed jumbled and full of information. The design just seemed a little dated and hard to understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is great for big projects that are being worked on by lots of different people and multiple organizations. It's nice to be able to communicate on specific topics at a time with a team, and I like that all correspondence is saved in one central place.
Easy Collaboration Difficult Integration
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to collaborate cross departments. Has a lot of flexibility when it comes to different views to track project progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
Does not track productivity
Needs a better dashboard to monitor all project at the organization level as well as team level
Does not integrates natively with SF. You are able to push tasks back to Asana from SF. But the user needs to toggle to and fro SF and a automation and process workflow are not leverage 100%

We can easily create tasks, assign them to an indIvidual and have followers. It also created email alerts of due tasks. We can create templates of recurrent projects that can be reutilized without having to build from scratch.
Easy provisioning and de-provisioning, specially because it allows SSO.
You can conduct searches on several filters and run reports on how many task a use have.
We are able to hold people accountable since it also created visibility for followers to see the status of the tasks. We also can quickly mark as complete without having to enter the tasks. It it very easy to use.
Templates / customization and collaboration are three strong points

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Driving adoption is key to do this is important to ensure no one is adding tasks on paper and use it a center item on any meetings. At the same time, use the comment section of the task to provide updates or even ask clarification. All conversations can happened in the comment section.
Easy to use project management software that caters to multiple learning/organization styles
What do you like best about the product?
I love how customizable Asana is. You can organize your projects based on many different organization/learning styles. This becomes very useful when you are transferred a project from someone who has a different style of organizing than you, so you can edit the style to suit your needs. It helps me keep track of the 15 client accounts that I'm running and can help me have a big picture view of my tasks in multiple views (calendar, project, combined views, etc.).
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly love this app. I think the only dislike is that sometimes I can have too many little details in each project and lose track of some of these things. But that can be fixed by using a different view for how my tasks are displayed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of all of my client accounts using Asana allows me to stay very organized and have everything online so that I can share my progress with my colleagues and management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I find it helpful to categorize my tasks within each project using sections and the tagging feature. This adds some colorful visual cues for easy identification for the types of tasks I have to do.
Great tool for bug tracking and project management
What do you like best about the product?
Tagging is the best in this part in this application
What do you dislike about the product?
The views are not configurable easily. We've to manually change them
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking projects in my current job. Asana is helping me track everything end to end with respect to my tasks. I'm able to manage multiple environment tracking with the app and share tracking information with my colleagues easily
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It just works!
Perfect for Large Teams with Multiple Projects
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a fantastic task tracking service and should be used by any company looking to organize their workloads. My team, in particular, uses it for a multitude of different projects and company departments. We are able to keep everything very neatly organized despite having lots of moving parts within our company. The system has lots of options that allow any team to suit it to their workload, and maintain transparency across departments.
What do you dislike about the product?
For whatever reason, you cannot assign tasks to multiple people like you can in other services like Trello. This is particularly frustrating when working on a collaborative team. It is possible to create subtasks that can then be assigned to users, but this seems like an overly complex solution to a simple problem. So the biggest dislike I have with Asana is that some options are more complex than they need to be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team is using Asana to track tasks across a number of different projects and company departments. We use Asana to keep track of all milestones in our project, upcoming, current, and some past. We also use it as a way to keep everyone on the same page regarding workloads and what needs to be done company-wide. The greatest benefit to Asana is keeping transparency across a company. Everyone can see what is being worked on, by who, and how long it may take. This makes meetings much simpler and easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is a very streamlined service for task tracking. There are a great number of options to take advantage of in doing so, and is thus comparable to other platforms like Trello. There are some downsides to consider, but everything is a balance of positive and negative in this life.
Asana - great task management
What do you like best about the product?
This app is perfect for managing tasks and projects across multiple teams and groups. You can create different teams based on real life teams as well as groups for projects and sub tasks required to complete those projects. It makes every day work life a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a little bit of disconnect if you are tasked with something but not following the project or if you are mentioned but not following so things can still slip between the cracks. It's not the worst thing and as long as you follow the tasks it's fine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Large group projects, especially those with long lead times, are easily managed using Asana. There are ways to create subtasks and upload different files to support the tasks and get opinions from other teammates more easily. You can check off tasks or like them to confirm you see them and it's overall a great way to handle work business easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great product that links to your email and can easily make your every day tasks as well as large projects super easy. You can do a lot with Asana and team up with people and communicate projects so much easier if you use this.
Simple streamlined to-do list, but not great for project management
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease in which new tasks can be added to Asana, and the recent update of adding a Due Date to tasks (this was my biggest issue with Asana before). I also like being able to color-code different lists.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Asana is great for adding and organizing tasks, it's not great for project management. It would be nice to see some more GTD-like features. I would also like to be able to set reminders for myself and be notified when logging in. I also would like if completed tasks stayed visible for a while, so I could see the progress made on a given project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is my go-to task list for work. As soon as a task comes up through email or in a meeting, I add it to Asana and later I remember to tackle it.
