Very good tool for project management
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has allowed the task review process for collaborators to be streamlined; now it's enough to check the admin panel to find out who is doing what.
It features templates that help create a project of various types quickly. You can divide users by areas, and each area can have its own projects.
The free version allows you to try out many functionalities and is excellent for testing with your work team, so you can decide whether it is for you and whether to invest in the paid version.

What do you dislike about the product?
Asana is very good, however, being able to make checklists in the tasks would be great. Since very often some tasks have subtasks, something like what Trello has would be perfect to implement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps save time. Previously, task review had to be done by asking and in meetings with everyone present, which caused a loss of time as tasks were being reviewed.
Now, by looking at the dashboard, you find out which tasks are assigned and also the ones assigned to you.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is a good option if it's your first project management software because its free version is excellent for trying it out, exploring it, and deciding if it's for you. Its free version has no time limit; that's how we started and discovered that it did fit what we needed. Our company is dedicated to digital marketing and web development.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to “follow” a task that may belong to someone else allows for managers to oversee achievements. Everyone is held accountable
What do you dislike about the product?
Only being able to assign a task to one individual person makes it hard to assign items to whole teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No problems. We do notice that we see higher productivity!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it for at least a month before giving up, and don’t forget that you can make tasks repeatable! Duplicating tasks is also very underestimated.
Switched from Trello to Asana
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to plan in a Kanban board similar to Trello but have such versatility with the way you view that information. I also love having a single place to see just my tasks and check them off. Trello was not as fluid. I also love the view of workload across our team. Its very easy to see where we are overloaded across our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took a little while for our team to get our process in place. There is a lot of flexibility but was a while before we got the most out of Asana.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the ability to switch major departmental projects from one user to another.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is easy for subtasks and comments to get lost in high level tasks with various due dates

I use my personal Asana dashboard for project management to ensure I am completing deadlines in a timely and efficient manner

The interface makes it easy to organize tasks and prioritize. The templates are extremely helpful and the email plugin is convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love for a simpler dashboard that lets you see tasks that are due.

Great software! I would recommend taking the tutorials offered through their website. The videos explain how best to utilize it.

What do you like best about the product?
The user friendliness of the product. The adaptability of the product.

Adding columns is not so easy. If other teams aren’t using it, cross functionally it can be challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration with cross functional teams is easy with asana as long as people on each team use it. It holds people accountable for due dates.

The designs are awesome that the board with lanes are really good.

I think the product could be better at doing scrum and agile like have a burn down and break thighs up in projects like epics

We were able to organize our workload and tasks needing to be completed. We schedules work as well that was reoccurring.
High Quality Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I think that Asana is the best project management tool out there. it is high-quality task management software

There isn't much I dislike! Maybe the customer service. it takes a lot of time to get problems resolved

What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive interface. Great project templating. Multiple types of interfaces. Ability to assign tasks from outlook. Infinite customizability with adding fields and connecting projects and tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
No chat feature outside of projects. Inability to have some employees to have different features than others to mitigate costs by usage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used it for managing all of our projects, scheduling regular tasks, housing our SOPs and as a historical record of changes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get buy in from everyone. Make it known that you are charged by account every month whether people use it or not.
Asana is great for keeping yourself or your team organized.

Most helpful about Asana is that you can have projects with numerous to-do lists within them, additionally task items can be personalized with various things i.e 'due dates, sharing options and more.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be helpful to have a feature to bring all the urgent tasks from different projects to one master list but honestly I've used Asana for 2 years and don't have complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has reduced the amount of paper I need for to-do lists and projects. I always thought paper was the best way for me to organize tasks in a way that made sense to me but the many options that Asana provides has allowed me to transfer to a digital format for keeping organized.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you've tried other organizing technology and felt frustrated with the format or lack of options, give Asana a try; I was very surprised by how quickly it replaced all of my other methods of organizing for my personal life and professional projects.
