Asana for younglings
What do you like best about the product?
The assignation system is awesome! Either is a task or a sub theme, I can see everything I have to do in just one screen, one place. No more notification clutter in the inbox.
What do you dislike about the product?
I get a notification by EMAIL everyone does something, even if it's not adressed to me, just because i follow the task. Pls, enable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organization! I work in a content agency and before Asana, we handled everything by mail. ew. So, this tool keeps us organized and on schedule.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's easy and fun to use! Somehow it seems simple and clean, (even if there's a thousand tasks for you haha) Nice interface and UX!

Task assignment ease, sharing attachments, and having a full overview of your to-dos- daily, or upcoming.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be nice to have multi-person tasking - be it two team-members share the same task and are working together.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping team on track to complete projects and to keep organized with ever evolving plans and timelines.

Asana is used to manage our collaboration on different projects within our organization. We use it to communicate, assign tasks, and track completion of tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
I am a personal assistant to a very busy pool construction business owner. It's hard to keep him on task and have him remember everything. He's also very old school, still uses little notebooks to write in for his notes. So my job is to not only keep on task but to keep reminding him of all the things he has yet to do, follow-up on, make sure he shows up to his appointments on time, etc. Asana is the best way to keep my life organized so that I can help him be organized. Assigning him tasks has been great so he can just go through them one at a time and it let's me know what he's done. It's wonderful!
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I like all the features Asana offers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping our schedules and tasks organized has been great especially with the notifications that help remind me and my boss what is needed to be done. It saves us time and it's great for our business model to be able to keep everything we need in one place. It keeps customers happy when we remember what we have to do.

I didn't dislike anything, I just use other systems that work better for me

I love the organizational components. As a small business that focuses on event planning, it is important to stay organized and on the same page!

There could be a better way to track on-going projects. Sometimes, on-going tasks can get lost.

We had a problem with having to re-create the wheel for the same work each year. We love being able to duplicate projects in Asana!

There's just a lot of features you and so you need to play around with it a lot

It helps the office be more collaborative and allows for us to see the progress of the project or assignment

asana really helps the team to stay organized and also for people who like lists or boards it or like having visuals, this is a great option

Asana makes it really easy to stay organized with the development of multiple projects simultaneously and keep track of progress from each developer.

I don’t like that you can’t have the same project in two different groups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Asana, the team didn’t not properly communicate their work on multiple sub projects at a time and the projected completion date, amount of time necessary to complete, and problems along the way were all unknown. Asana solves all those problems and makes development transparent and organized.

The ability to see what is on everyone's to do list before going to them with a potential project
What do you dislike about the product?
All of the email updates can become a bit annoying, especially when you are monitoring others todo lists.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to collaborate on projects and bring other people up to speed with a mention is an awesome benefit!

Asana is a great tool that allows for collaboration between departments and provides a great way to check employee progress on various projects. The app integrates with many other SaaS programs that our organization uses allowing for an easier workflow.
