Great project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to tag people in tasks and keep track of deliverables and due dates. I especially like being able to create and use templates for projects that come up often. It is the only way I can work cross-functionally on projects and keep tabs on everything!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it prompted me to fill in owner and due date on tasks, because sometimes a task is created through a template but ends up not being assigned to someone. I know there's ways to view unassigned tasks but would like it to prompt me a bit more. I also think it's not very intuitive for new users, as there are so many options on how you organize yourself that it can feel overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage projects and they get worked on by almost every team in the company in one way or another. It's the best way to keep everyone on track and informed on where things stand.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's an amazing tool that can do so many things. I think the one trick is making sure you have a good process in place for how you use it and make sure that is consistent across all teams.
Comprehensive Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is the most comprehensive project management tool that I've ever used. It is filled with so many features that we use to ensure that our work gets done. I like the inbox feature and how it integrates with slack so that I can keep up on communications in a centralized place.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is so feature rich that I feel like a novice most of the time. I wish I had time to walk through all of Asana's capabilities because I'm sure I could be better at using the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We work in an agile environment, so Asana helps us ensure all projects and tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great tool for organizing your tasks and projects. It helps your business stay on track.
Asana No More
What do you like best about the product?
Asana was a good way to organize jobs between many people and make a calendar or tasks and due dates.
What do you dislike about the product?
The layout was a little busy and difficult to find what I am looking for sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Assigning jobs to certain people and watching them follow through
Brilliant
What do you like best about the product?
Brilliant ease of use makes it easy to see timeline of workload and dates needed
What do you dislike about the product?
can't export projects into a csv file not always easy to remove members
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
saves a lot of time and task writing
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it brilliant
It's complicated, in a good way.
What do you like best about the product?
There is a lot of detail involved into creating a workflow that provides the company with controlled project management. It allows you to set up multiple projects, simultaneously, and within each project splinter into separate tasks that have jobs for individuals to complete.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has the function to create a calendar, but it doesn't allow you to shrink the size of the projects so you can see over 5 timelines together. The interface is quite bad for that function.
Also, I was using it to create many similar projects, but the template function and the copy/paste function is bad. It made it tedious to create a new copy of the same timeline with the same goals/tasks.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Made it easier for the company to understand how each project should be prioritised and what elements need completing by when. We have a lot of projects going simultaneously, so it is difficult to know where to project our prioritise, but this allowed us to work it out and understand our focus.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I haven't used any other project management software other than Trello, so it's hard to compare as it entirely depends on what you need it for. We needed it primarily for the timelines and I feel there are probably better and easier software available out there. I do regret getting it somewhat, as there might be a simiplar solution, but for the price, it is good. Plus, if you are looking for mainly to use it to give tasks, it is very good in that department.
A Scalable Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of Asana to create projects hierarchy, groups, and visuals that align with people's perceptions and processes is fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana will fail the organization if the people fail to adopt and stay organized. Subtasks of subtasks can bury key to-do items.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Repeatable and scalable projects are easily prioritized in Asana. We can easily roll our best practices into the next project.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is a great project management tool because it is flexible for different groups in the organization. It will also grow and scale with the organization.
Great and simple managing software
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is an efficient, simple and well-designed software to manage tasks with other employees or yourself.
What do you dislike about the product?
You cannot assign one task to many different people. It is only one task, one person - it can be confusing and complicated if you work in a big team that have the same deadlines.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Asana, my to-dos and deadlines are clear. It takes no time to create a task, add a deadline to it, add categories, and it helps me being more efficient.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Anyone should try the free-trial version. This software can be a great tool to a company that wants to improve their efficiency in the management of tasks and deadlines.
it help me to organize the task so that team will receive the task
What do you like best about the product?
I allow to post the task and can give the time frame to complete the task, It a very useful application to check the status of the given task
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost of the software is too high, they have to give some discounts for the start-up company, they have give some time frame as free
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we have resolve lot of problems using asana , by giving the task on time and work will be completing on time
Asana Review
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ability to get assigned tasks by other people and have a deadline be assigned for when an assignment is due. This is very beneficial for multiple tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an option in being able to collaborate with people for tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently I am being assigned Salesforces trailheads as an intern. It is nice to have the due dates feature like I mentioned before.
Asana rocks
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to have boards or lists - user preference. Highly customizable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of the good features are locked. We're a small company so I don't get to use some of the ones that I think would be good for us. NO DESKTOP APP!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BEST project MGMT tool. Trello is great for scrum/ agile/ kanban engineering. But with SO many details in event planning/ marketing/ campaigns etc. I find Asana has the customizability I'm looking for in my project mgmt has that Trello can't match. And for the engineers that want the ability to board- with Asana they can- everyone wins.
