  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Asana offers the best in group communication. I may create activities and sub-tasks and, thanks to Asana, I can now delegate tasks to my team, which has helped me improve my team performance. My team is kept up to date with who is working on a given task so they can follow up on tasks that have already been completed. By prioritizing each task, the team can work faster and more efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Displaying sub-tasks and subtasks is not very pleasant and you have to click on each one when you want to see a sub-task. There is also no measurement of the efficiency of the tasks performed. The date and time of completion of previously completed tasks is not displayed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has proven to be extremely helpful, giving me the opportunity to personalize and build my business and make it as efficient as possible. The tool can be combined and rewritten and in my task I get amazing results immediately. This software allows me to create more effective teamwork in our team.

This product is commonly used in organizations. It can meet the needs of your team and contains elements that will work for you and your team.

Easy to use Project Management Software

  • April 19, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Creating a project and adding tasks is pretty easy. It provides a dashboard view of the tasks which is pretty helpful. There are multiple visualizations like list view, dashboard view, timeline view which provide a variety of choice to users. Customizing the board is pretty easy and new columns can be added pretty effortlessly. The calendar view is pretty awesome in visualizing which task is due which date. The overall experience of using asana felt more fluid over using Atlassian JIRA. Asana also has integration features with Jira Cloud, Slack, Salesforce, Office 365 etc which makes it more flexible in integrating with any existing products a team may have.
What do you dislike about the product?
Atlassian JIRA offers distinguishing the task types as stories/epics/tasks/spikes which offers more visibility on the type of tasks on the dashboard. I must have missed it here but could not find anything which differentiated the task types while creating them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana provides better visualizations and tasks tracking over the way our team currently uses Atlassian JIRA's dashboards feature.
