Asana Saved My Business

What do you like best about the product?
I love all the different features and how groups and share tasks and then assign to new users.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how the free option doesn't allow some of the features for the purchased business feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For the problems, I'm solving my disorganized projects and tasks. Now my tasks are much more organized. A benefit is the one system that communications to all teams on due dates, tasks and communications.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great feature, but make sure you know what the free version entails vs the paid business version before you make a purchase. There are some features, I've missed out on for not doing the paid version.

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy for task management. Visual timeline is amazing. Setting due dates and being able to tag the progress of projects in a highly visible way is extremely helpful. Also love the flying unicorns with a completed task. :)
What do you dislike about the product?
The notification page can be kind of confusing, and it's easy to miss some things that slip by. Also, it would be nice to be able to add multiple collaborators to one task vs. just adding them as followers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps our organization stay organized in the middle of large campaigns with multiple print, deign, marketing, and video piece. It also helps bring clarity to who is owning each project, and keeps track of details spoken about in meetings with the client each project serves.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Come up with an adequate submission and tagging system for new projects that come in to save you some work on the front end.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that email forwarding works for subscribers and clients who may not employ the service in their company.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the limited options for sprints

Task assignments and project updates. Fielding issues from outside companies

One-sided tool but still valuable

What do you like best about the product?
So useful for keeping track of projects, especially with multi-person projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a very diverse social tool. For some roles I've heard great reviews but as a social media specialist it isn't very valuable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our team has many projects that involve different groups of people for each one and it allows us to keep people in the loop that need to be. It also is so beneficial to be able to assign people due dates for subtasks and then see the flow of subtasks leading to the larger one.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you know what you're going to need out of it and that you can't accomplish it with another tool you already have. It is a good tool but might not always be necessary.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to have all of the workflows in one area. Easy to keep track of what needs to be done and what is due next.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is really nothing I dislike about Asana. I recommend this program to all of my colleagues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workflows with writing and posting are now so much easier to handle. Getting the right content up on the right website is so much easier and organized.

What do you like best about the product?
The look and feel is clean and it’s pretty easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
In order to have any of the good project management features you must upgrade. And upgrade.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Their business model seems to be always what “more can we make to sell them.” Any new features cost extra, there’s no general improvement over time without forking out more money.

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to create tasks, share documents and manage project efficiently with my team

There’s nothing i dont like. Maybe adding a chat to communicate more easily with my coworkers.

Being able to prioritize my tasks and plan my days

What do you like best about the product?
The flexible organization and the ability to share / assign tasks to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found anything that I particularly dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just keeping track of my to do list, and also monitoring tasks across teams. I've been much more organized and I have a nice history of tasks, too.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I use Asana to track personal as well as team tasks, and I'm able to easily update tasks and also see team updates for tasks, too.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can really customize my needs with Asana. I can keep track of the different projects I am working on, subcategories within those projects, and even subgroups/tasks within those subcategories! I love how detailed I can get.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana may be challenging to someone who needs a very simple project management tool without all of the 'bells and whistles'.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do sales and was in need of a tool where I could keep track of leads, info about customers, and have a "due date" feature that I could use to remind me of my follow up calls. Asana has all of these needs plus more!

What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can prioritize and assign various tasks. Probably my favorite feature is the many ways to sort and view tasks, from different types of events to all your personal tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't encountered any downsides to using Asana yet.

Keeps our event tasks organized, easy to know exactly who is doing what in the office
