Asana
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is the best project-management software I've used so far. It enables teams from large organizations to stay on track with projects and tasks, no matter the scale. The UI is sleek and simple, with features that make that experience fun (ex. enabling the Tab+B lets you fill the screen with cat pictures)
What do you dislike about the product?
The only feature I wish existed was being able to view subtasks just by tapping on the parent task, like a drop down preview of its subtasks, rather than opening a new window.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to manage multiple projects at once (especially when it requires coordination with multiple teams and functions) can be extremely difficult, so having Asana definitely helps with keeping us organized and on track with our goals.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the time to get used to the UI and features. It can be overwhelming in the beginning, but after some time getting to know the features while taking into consideration how your team operates best with Asana, it's a definite lifesaver.
Easy to use workflow tool
What do you like best about the product?
It has great functionality and is very versatile, the project boards are very helpful to manage deadlines for projects with multiple stakeholders and task that need to be completed. The calendar function is great as it allows us to track projects completed by time and region. Being able to have multiple teams and projects for different regions helps. The subtask feature is great, being able to assign subtasks to team members, set time and dates the task should be completed by and add followers to tasks. Being able to colour code tags is super helpful in differentiating teams, tasks, owners etc
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when I have a task that has been assigned to me it can be difficult to access it immediately, I have to click through several time to get to the task which means I have to go to the email notification to access the task. If you have notifications turned on you can get multiple notifications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it for several things, managing cross functional projects, giving access to teams to have visibility on what other parts of the business are working on. We also use it as a limited version of a content calendar, planning social media, engagement and outbound marketing communications to the wider org. We are trying to centralise a lot of information and automate workflows through Asana integrations with other tools such as Salesforce and Zapier to name a few.
easy to use and track work and results

What do you like best about the product?
I like working with Asana's list interface, it reminds me of Google keep with additional features for managing tasks for your team
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can get a little bit cluttered when you get everybody on but I guess you can manage this by setting some rules on how your team uses the app
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Well it's simplified or task tracking and it has integrated well with our daily scrums and project management
Useful only if your whole team is fully sold on software
What do you like best about the product?
Asana allows a team comprised of multiple people working on the same project to share, assign, and update each other with detailed (the level of which you can adjust) tasks for completion of the project. It is transparent and allows accountability within your team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is a bit lackluster. It would be more useful if some kind of Gantt chart is provided (rudimentary but scaling automatically based on user input of tasks) so that a quick high-level status of the project can be seen.
Also, how useful this product is depends heavily on every single member of your team being dedicated to using the software. If one person doesn't update this regularly, it becomes a pain to use and possibly obsolete.

Group accountability, understanding bottlenecks in productivity, and projecting timelines are some of the primary problems which have been addressed by Asana.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure your entire team is on board with using Asana. A good first step would be to hold a session to teach everyone the basic functions that you expect everyone to know and laying down some ground rules on regular updates of status.
Asana is most flexible application for collaboration.
What do you like best about the product?
I mostly like the flexibility, collaboration flow among the team members, Intelligent organizing capabilities of asana. Also, asana is mobile compatible which enhances the productivity of our team by tracking the milestones, tasks & progress.

New AI integration offer better insights and saves time.
Recently, I’ve been making the most of Asana’s upgraded AI Teammates. Now I am able to pass on boring stuff—like risk reports or multilingual searches—to the AI while only focusing on the parts of web dev and marketing I truly enjoy. It’s a real time-saver.
The Timesheets & Budgets add-on? Honestly, it’s made tracking client hours and expenses way less of a headache. I don’t need to juggle a bunch of spreadsheets anymore, which feels like a small miracle.
And those new Role-Based Access Control updates? They’re a big step up for admin security, especially while I’m experimenting with team setups for things like WhatsApp API and SaaS projects. It feels like everything just clicks into place now.

What do you dislike about the product?
Asana really needs to allow users assign a task to more than one person. Right now, you’re stuck picking just one, which slows things down when teams are working together—especially on web development or marketing projects. People end up creating subtasks or other workarounds, which just adds clutter.
Customer support could use a serious upgrade, too. Users often complain about slow replies, chatbots that don’t actually help, and getting the runaround with refunds. When you hit a snag with something like the WhatsApp API integration, you want real help, not more headaches.
It would also help if Asana had built-in time tracking and didn’t lag when you switch between views. Those fixes would make everyday work a lot smoother.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps track of tasks, we use for software development, so it helps us to release sprints more organized way. It is easy to track the software life cycle. We can track who working on which task and where is it currently. My tasks section is very helpful, where I can see which task needs my attention. Also, the inbox section is great to know about activity of the task you are following.
So you will always be on the same page with your team.
