Great for project management!
What do you like best about the product?
I like having collaborative boards, as well as individual ones to track my own projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their "Daily Roundup" emails are annoying - until turned off :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Asana to manage tasks as a team.

Asana is perfect for managing tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
We find a lot of value in the ability to easily see what our colleagues are doing on any given day and be able to review and suggest edits to their priority list. Having the ability to have multiple people "follow" a task and get notified when something has been updated or changed has been very helpful and extremely efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would prefer if we could have multiple people assigned to a task or different parts of a task but we are able to have followers on tasks so in the meatime that works just fine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have cut down the number of meetings we have for project check-ins substantially! Asana has replaced our need to notify other colleagues when we have finished our part of a task or suggesting edits. This has made team collaboration easier to accomplish and very time efficient.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is a great tool that would be useful for any organization to manage their projects and promote team collaboration
Helps my daily processes immensely
What do you like best about the product?
Asan has made it very easy to train our new employees. We can keep track of all of the trainings they are supposed to do once they begin and easily share it with the next new employee. It is also very useful to track other processes we have, like onboarding new customers. As a software company ourselves, we have developed a process for onboarding customers that we have been able to keep track of in Asana.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am unsure of anything that I currently don't like about Asana.

We are keeping track of all of our process and including helpful information.
Impressive communication and project management
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to communicate with my team on different projects and have a record of all communication

There was nothing I disliked about asana. It was easy to use and simple to implement

Communication issues and tracking projects and documents. It has helps keep everything in one spot.
Useful for smaller groups
What do you like best about the product?
Versatility. This application is helpful for communicating on teams when a lot of things are being done by a lot of people. It is easy to organize also.

It seems that even the paid version has a limited number of people who can be in the company on it

Communication across many locations and people to stay up to date on project timelines and who is doing what
Attractive cross team collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
We use Asana to communicate and manage projects with our design consultants. It keeps communications in one place and keeps me organized so that I’m getting all of the approvals I need on our work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were multiple views and ways for me to organize tasks.

It has consolidated all of my to-dos into one place and it keeps communication with outside partners in one clean space.
useful but tedious
What do you like best about the product?
I like the way it organizes tasks and is useful for overall project management. It is clear whenever my boss sends me stuff to do. As a small company, it was very useful when organizing our tasks and coordinating work between departments.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's tedious having to constantly update my tasks, especially when they are broken down to a very miniscule level. It just gets repetitive and while it is usefule overall, it can drive me nuts sometimes to have to long in that often
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management is the main one. Whenever we organize a project, we break it down using asana and it has been a valuable tool, especially for interdepartmental coordination. Since we are a small company, it made life a lot easier for us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would reccommend using it on a smaller scale with less than 50 people- whether that takes the form of a small company or a project team in a larger company. I find it useful in the beginning stages of project development as well as to keep track of progress and make sure everyone is moving at a good pace. It is a useful tracker but make sure to sync it with other applications to limit the amount of back-and-forth work you have to do and to make life easier for yourself as well.
Easy project management
What do you like best about the product?
Asana allows me to easily manage all of the tasks for my projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of the best features require a paid subscription, but I suppose that that’s to be expected.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps me to easily manage my projects and get things done faster than simple to-do lists and spreadsheets.
Great for a beginner/ small business
What do you like best about the product?
Very user friendly. Interface is very easy to use. I would recommend for any start up or small business who is organizing a team for the first time. This would even be helpful to students.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the plans could be a little more affordable. Especially for entrepreneurs.

Organization. Task completion. Project enhancement. Team building. Overall increase of effectiveness.
