Asana is great for keeping track of tasks and Workin with a team.
What do you like best about the product?
It's really easy to assign tasks to teammates, collaborate, and keep track of important things.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not very customizable. I often wish that I could reorder tasks that are all due at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team uses Asana to onboard new customers that use our software.
Asana: A Fun Way to Get it Done!
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is a project management tool that provides an excellent user experience. However, anyone can benefit from Asana, not only project managers. It is an effective tool to keep track of personal tasks and collaborate with coworkers. I love how easy Asana is to use and their aesthetic website layout. I am able to quickly record and manage my tasks throughout the day. Additionally Asana allows you to collaborate with coworkers, making it a great multipurpose tool for not only your own projects and tasks but shared ones as well. Asana cheers you on by sending periodic celebrations across the screen when you complete tasks, motivating you to get more done!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike about Asana is the occasionally difficulty in sorting my tasks into personalized sections. When I try to make a custom section for my tasks to be placed under, it can be difficult to create this custom section without it becoming a subsection of another header. This has separated my tasks and made me take time to reorganize them back where they should be. So while it is easy to sort my tasks under their pre-made headers, it can be confusing to sort them in custom headers on your own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Asana I am not only solving day to day problems at my work, but particularly solving the issues that come with tracking tasks over email and on paper. With these methods it is easy to become disorganized since all your tasks are not in one place. You can have multiple pieces of paper floating around with tasks written down or tasks to be done only in your head, both of which have the potential for error. Additionally it is hard to keep track of what needs to be done with a group over emails and direct messages, so with Asana I can collaborate with others and ensure group tasks or organized and what needs to get done gets done.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend others considering Asana to use this tool. It is not only incredibly easy to use, organize, and collaborate on tasks, but also very aesthetic, modern, and fun to use.
Great for teams
What do you like best about the product?
Transparency is key, I can see what all my teams are doing at all times, and also keeps a log of the work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tough to see visually, no content repository, images get lost in threads, same with attachements
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making people work on the same system forces us to figure out solutions to problems eariler in the project process.
Pretty good tool for project management
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is easy to organize and get set up with
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really I dislike about using Asana
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving a ton of problems with project management and assigning tasks
Not as intuitive as some similar software, but effective nonetheless
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how tasks can be organized and delegated across the team according to each project. It keeps the team managed and in line with what's required of them, and helps my assistant organize her life on the fly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface looks similar to other things so can and does get misused as a messaging app. The iOS app works pretty well, but I wish there were reminders that were better implemented within each task. Also, with the roll out schedule of certain projects it can be possible to have numerous dates upon which certain things are due, and rather than being able to compile each task underneath each project in an organized fashion... the user typically ends up with numerous tasks leading up to the project that is due.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working within a large group and delegating tasks across an organization within specific projects, helping the organization maintain clarity and vision as we all move forward together. The biggest benefit is giving substantial information and clarity to each team member about what is expected and what is needed at any given time.
Great tool for efficient project management
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how I can add a ticket to multiple projects, tag them and even add subtasks. The project backlogs are highly customizable too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really dislike the latest update, that is why I didn't give Asana a one-up higher score. It became harder to open and move around tickets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think our whole team works more efficiently, everybody is kept on the same page and knows what's going on in other parts of the business. It's great for looking back to historical tasks and share knowledge.
Great experience

What do you dislike about the product?
I didn’t like how it was glitchy sometimes

Asana, a little too complex
What do you like best about the product?
Helps keep the whole team organized on a task. Checklists everyone can contribute to.
What do you dislike about the product?
It gets a little confusing. I don't always know where to find tasks that people send to me.

If you can use Trello, you can use Asana
What do you like best about the product?
I love how organized Asana makes me feel. It's also great that it's so close to Trello. I'd been using Trello to keep me organized for years and so making the transition to Asana was pretty simple.
I also really love the cute little graphics that are provided in the program. It's such a simple thing, but it truly makes me just so happy. Right now, leading up to Halloween there is a "Spooky" theme where an adorable little bat flies around and lands on a line and moves when you move the page. Their other themes are also quite charming, there is a winter one where snow falls and collects at the bottom of the page like snow would actually collect. I know that is such a silly thing to find joy in, but it's the small things that really just brighten my day - particularly when they follow the basic laws of physics. I think it shows that the company is in-tune with not only their client base, but people in general.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I find frustrating is how often Asana seems to go down. You'll be working on a project or setting up for a team meeting and it'll be down. It's not everyday, but it's often enough to cause issue at times and certainly often enough to be frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving the issue of staying organized on the many various projects I have going on any given day as well knowing where I'm at on all those tasks without having to dig around for an update. It's easy to give my team a quick update after an even quicker glance at where my "cards" are at. I just love the simplicity and that I can share cards with my team so they know what's going as well if I'm out of the office.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I feel like it's just intuitive, don't over think it.
Great way to manage your tasks and your team!
What do you like best about the product?
Setting to-do tasks and deadlines for myself and our team. It allows me to keep it all online so I can assess my list of items to do from anywhere even if I am not in the office.
What do you dislike about the product?
Other people adding items to your tasks without my approval so there will be items that I already have on my list that are added again. I would like to have an approval button or a way to chat back to the assigner to let them know it is already on my calendar of tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are creating tasks for our team and able to view what other team members are working on. I also assign tasks to other team members when I need them to work on something.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start slow and use it for your most important tasks. It is easy to add everything especially if you are someone who loves to-do lists but this can quickly become overwhelming when you aren't meeting your deadlines.
