Great Project Management Solution
What do you like best about the product?
This software provides the organization and progress tracking needed for collaborative projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a slight learning curve. Things may not be as intuitive for everyone; some coaching is needed while implementing this software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana integrates essential tools to help solve disorganization and gives direction to all team members. Transparency among members of companies is realized.
Beautiful and Functional Task management
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to do both board and list views is my favorite feature. Secondly, the amount of 3rd party integrations is best-in-class.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I don't like about Asana is that some other softwares have better at a glance views of the current state of all tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The amount of enjoyment I get using software is of utmost importance to me. If it isn't beautiful, clever, and easy-to-use, I don't stay with it. Asana is all of those, so I end up using it more than I might if it wasn't. I still need to use it more than I do though.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is the most fun task management I have used.

I love being able to break down my tasks into their most finite components

Unfortunately I am unable to assign multiple team members to one project

Delegating tasks and being able to easily see my projects

i like how granular one can be when laying out projects in Asana. adding tasks, then subtasks, allow you to really cover the smallest details.

there are several different ways to layout projects in Asana, but that tends to complicate things. many people on the same team will use Asana in different ways; while the flexibility is appreciate, it can at times add confusion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
in our company, we use Asana to track longer term milestones. it's been great to keep everyone on the team looped in to what one another is working on.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoyed that Asana was accessible through my browser and fairly responsive; I don't have to wait for a page to open as long as I do with other CRMs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Almost everything. The layout is confusing and feels like a puzzle. The management of tasks leaves my users feeling lost and confused as to what they should be doing next. It's ended up creating many more problems than it's solved as far as management goes.

I was hoping to solve simple task management problems with Asana, but I am struggling to come up with a benefit for this review.

I like the ability to easily outline major projects and their subtasks, assign dates per subtask, and easily assign them

Sometimes it's not as intuitive as I'd like in terms of figuring out different views of your projects (list view, calendar view, etc)

Sometimes it's not as intuitive as I'd like in terms of figuring out different views of your projects (list view, calendar view, etc). The benefits are outlining projects in a way in which our entire team can see where the sub-teams stand in terms of projects and priorities
Great project tool for small teams and clients
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that Asana has a clean interface and integration with email and calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much that I dislike about Asana. We've tried other project tracking tools and this seems to be the best one so far. As a small, remote team, every connection matters. I like that this tool is so easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We put all of our customers on Asana so they can see transparently into how much activity is being done on their behalf. We are a service-based business so that added clarity is helpful and helps build trust.

Bigger projects required a lot of organization. Asana does that for us

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is extremely easy and intuitive to use. I’ve used it both as a member of a team, and as an individual, and it is consistently my favorite tool to manage projects, create to-do lists, and stay on track.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free version of Asana has amazing features but it’s a little difficult to find the free option when signing up for an account. At first glance, it appears that there are only paid options available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When it comes to running a business there are so many different things I need to keep track of, from to-do lists and timelines to content marketing ideas. Asana let’s me manage and organize all of these various items In the same platform.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Watch at least one tutorial up front, not because the software is difficult to use but because there are multiple ways to set up your boards. By seeing all the options prior to starting, you can make an educated decision about which option best suits your need.
