The Spreadsheet Killer

What do you like best about the product?
Asana helped us evolve our project management processes and even become our marketing calendar organization tool – projects never felt so streamlined.
What do you dislike about the product?
When using a template that includes many recurring/ongoing tasks, the system can get clunky with those that are dependent on other tasks, as well as with task ownership.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management, managing a marketing calendar across media and channels, tracking team progress.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I've tested other project management tools like Trello, yet Asana has a clean and simple design that allows for easy management of projects, tasks, and entire cross-channel campaigns.

Asana is a good way to keep track of passwords.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana lets you categorize things really well. New hires with access can easily look up new and important info, such as company logins and passwords for apps we use day to day.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can get a little overwhelming - if it's not someone's job to curate your asana board (who wants to do that?) you can end up with a lot of cards to go thru. If you're using it to assign work this is less of an issue, but still a lot of organization up front.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
communication within the team, across time zones, both in office and remote workers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana brands itself as task management, but it is best used as a password / critical info keeper / manager. Use slack to delegate tasks. Sticky notes in your office are still really effective. Asana can be more work than it's worth.

What do you like best about the product?
Helps keep track of project tasks, set due dates for tasks & get things done on time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Updates can be too frequent at times but this isn't a serious issue
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is the best product we've found for managing our clients' campaigns & I believe it's a critical component of managing our clients' and our own success. Without a solid project management tool like Asana, keeping track of budgets and tasks & getting things done on time can become unmanageable long before it will when you have a tool like this put to use.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great for keeping track of tasks, scheduling tasks & getting things done on time.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is great because you can change the way that tasks are displayed. Can display tasks in a list format, timeline format or calendar view. It works great for my marketing agency!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some tasks don't work great in Asana and I prefer to use my calendar. Asana also doesn't integrate well with my google calendar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Asana to keep track of the work we are doing for clients. It helps our company stay more organized with our work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The biggest thing when using a PM tool is ensuring you have the support of your team. Make sure that you keep your team using it consistently

What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most about Asana is that you can use the Kanban Board view so that you can see your tasks in a better more comfortable way and manage them more efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I don't like that much about Asana is that some of the functions are a little hard to find.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana has been very useful to manage from little simple projects to bigger more complex ones.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You can use Asana to manage any kind of project you want.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana is an online software with which I can manage my activities, I can focus on what is really important and what must be completed on time, it is not necessary to read tutorials to start Asana since everything is very intuitive, it allows me to organize My activities in an interactive calendar that notifies me by email when I need to review any activity that is about to expire.
What do you dislike about the product?
In order to obtain statistical options in Asana, you must purchase additional add-ons which are very expensive, and the text editing in Asana is very limited and does not offer very advanced options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is the tool with which I have benefited the most from my work team, since it allows me to organize different work departments to achieve a specific objective in time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is a web software that can be adapted to any company, keep in mind that the monthly cost of Asana will depend on the amount of person you have on your computer.

Organization is essential

What do you like best about the product?
Asan is perfect for keeping on track of your daily tasks, as well as, weekly and monthly goals. You can easily drag and drop different tasks and mark them as complete once accomplished.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI/UX isn't the best, especially since it doesn't send desktop notifications. I'm not always going to have Asana open on my computer, so a way to alert me when an incoming task is due would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task management and goal setting
