Mastermind of our office
What do you like best about the product?
We have developed a project template for our various design clients. As we only conduct residential design we can apply this template to each project and can track projects' progress easily and clearly. Asana has been essential in keeping on top of all the small tasks that can often go forgotten, but are essential in the smooth running of an office. Being able to assign jobs to staff also helps us to all stay accountable.
What do you dislike about the product?
We still need to have a weekly meeting in the office to update everyone on each project's progress in detail. Asana has not replaced this for us yet...we haven't found a successful way of using it to communicate project updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Planning and managing work in the team. Various team members can log in at any time and see the status of various projects, find relevant files, information and deadlines. Really helpful when staff are away on holiday or sick.

Using Asana as project management tool for our software projects has helped our team to deliver optimum output.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the interactive accountability aspect. The software makes it easy to delegate small tasks to large projects to specific people without items falling through the cracks or confusion on who is responsible for what.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like the individual task user interface to be more user friendly. Not everyone in our company is tech friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Items are no longer falling through the cracks. There’s no finger pointing on who was supposed to be responsible for what. We are reaching our deadlines faster and more efficiently ultimately creating less work for everyone.

Whatever you spend will be made back in efficiency of projects and employee time spent

The ease to track projects and assign overlapping tasks

Creation of boards can be confusing or difficult, once project and boards are created there are no issues with usability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management, team organization.

That I can create personal to-do list but also that I can assign them to others and be assigned items.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. Could be a little easier to use, I am still unsure on the further collaboration tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great for my work to-do lists, keeps me accountable but it easy for some to just change the due date.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure the team has resources to all aspects of asana you are looking to use. Like I said, it's not the most user-friendly but it can be beneficial if it doesn't overwhelm the individuals on your team.

What do you like best about the product?
easy to add new projects as tasks. visually appealing, I like the calendar view because you get overall. Also, the fact that you can upload pictures and files is a great bonus and you can record your voice memos. Its a very easy app for anyone to use. It's foolproof which helps any business owner or anyone complete a task to get to their goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
no reminders for when to do the task..... like something that lets the computer know when to do the task or when the task is ending. like a bell. Having the calendar view be easier to read for specific tasks. Like having it color coordinated so that each task is easily visible. The phone view needs work because It's very plain and you can tend to forget what tasks you have to do. It's not inviting or branded. The computer view is just a bigger version of the phone and it needs some work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
putting all my tasks into one spot so I know exactly what needs to be done.

Project Management Tool Every Should Try!
What do you like best about the product?
In my opinion, Asana is one of the essential tools for every manager. I personally use it to manage my team in a much more effective way. Task delegation and role assignments have become much easier. In addition, Asana provides me with a more integrated, all-in-one platform, which is also a big plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana is not easy to learn. It took me several weeks of hard work to understand everything about it. It might be my fault because I like to learn everything I detail, but I would argue that it is not easiest software on the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time saved with Asana is its biggest benefit. This application can provide users with a platform where everything is gathered together.

Genuinely one of the finest project management tools on the market. Definitely worth your money

There is a learning curve in implementing this software. A full day is required to implement and get everyone up to speed.

Task assign feature need to improve. I think task creator can edit and flowup tasks.

I felt that Asana made it simple to know what projects I had to work on and also see what’s others had to do for the project as well.

I was a little confused at first learning how to set up my account but eventually figured it out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used Asana to work with others on a lot of short term projects for a genetics webpage. It was very simple to know when everything was due and how to space out my work.
