Great Product for a Dynamic Team
What do you like best about the product?
This product made it extremely easy to create, assign, and track tasks across my team. In addition, the dashboards are great looking and easy to use. Asana has implemented a drag and drop type feature which make it extremely easy to see who is doing what and change due dates and timelines. They also have great reporting features that allows you to see your whole team and workload at one view. My team also really enjoyed using the app along side the desktop version. The additional features you get on the paid version is worth it!
What do you dislike about the product?
There really was no complaint with this software. I was looking for a more simple solution to assign and manage tasks and this did exactly that without over complicating things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Work load management for a tea of 8 employees working across different areas.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are some additional great benefits with the upgraded version. I was able to see where all our projects were, as well as when assignments were completed and I needed to review. Also used for feedback after review.
Great software for more accountability
What do you like best about the product?
The communication at work it’s easier with Asana. Also it makes our team goals more clear. Overall, Asana has a number of plugins that let you modify your projects to cater to your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana only allows you to assign project tasks to one person. This may not be a big issue for your team, but if you know you’re going to want multiple people to potentially work on one task, this is quite challengingz
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it so much easier to meet deadlines.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana helps my company to organize all project (short and long). Since we have been using Asana, the way we work has changed ... everything is more organized. The workflow is fluid, without the need for many meetings or chats. I also appreciate the fact that the software is integrated with Tmetric, which we use to calculate the time spent on tasks and projects.
All the people who work in the company use Asana. Today we have opened at least 50 projects and 1000 tasks, and thanks to Asana we do not panic. We use a lot of deadline management, tags and comments (which have replaced e-mail communications).
In the past we started to develop our own project management system, but in the end we gave up because the cost of Asana is not excessive, and internal development would have been more expensive. After a first period in which we used the free version, we switched to a pay plan.
The Portfolio function (to monitor the progress of all company projects), which is not included in my current subscription, seems very useful. Maybe I'll upgrade in the future.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana helps manage all project work very easily in few clicks, If you're a manager, track the progress of each individual employee and project, follow up, give feedback. If you're a team member, coordinate with your entire team online. And that too with a sleek and easy User interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Need to fine tune and improve their notification systems a bit. Sending email reminders of upcoming deadlines isn't the most sophisticated way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Entire project management is now off the whiteboard, excel gantt charts and onto Asana. Tasks, sub tasks ,colleagues working along on tasks. It is all online. Separate message thread on each task.

It is a must try. It can really help in managing projects. It even has a cost free version.

Great to help manage your tasks! Keeps you on track and helps you feel accomplished when checking of tasks. Great motivator.

So far just learning to use it. Would love more quick videos of “tips” to get to learn all the features!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One thing I haven’t figured out it how to properly assign tasks to multiple people under a project. Like project has 4 people, but a specific task id like to assign to 2 people, not just one!

Need a way to assign a task to multiple people under a project. Right now only lets me assign one person as the main person. The remainder I assign in comments.
Helpful for team projects
What do you like best about the product?
That you can make subtasks within a task, add followers if it requires more than one person involved. Also, you can drag images, videos and files and comments/notes. It makes it easy for me to delegate tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Your tasks in my tasks section are set in later/upcoming/today. Wish it was sorted by project and chronologically listed by dates. Also a feature to hide tasks that dont have a due date set (in case the task wss on hold).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to come up with a workback for the creative team that allows us to quality check our work. But we dont know how to do so without it doubling the tasks or overlapping the tasks. Also, i believe there is a feature but it requires an upgrade.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the user friendly intuitive interface, and I love how you can map out a launch using the calendar feature
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we could create templates for launches to re-use and or share with others.

I love how it helps me manage my launches and can get everything out of my head onto the app.

I’ve tried trello and dislike the user interface. Asana is easy to use, syncs with your calendars and your phone!

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the organizational aspect of Asana. It is easy to use and extremely user friendly. It keeps myself on track to do my daily tasks and is a necessary tool for the everyday work life.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana sometimes is very confusing when I want to delete something. Sometimes it is more stressful than it needs to be. Other than that though, I don't have anything negative to say about Asana.

Keeping relations with customers. Asana is necessary to build a successful business.

What do you like best about the product?
That it allows you to set priorities and deadlines. This helps to make your work organized. It helps to keep everyone's goals aligned.

There truly wasn't any aspect that I disliked.

Meeting deadlines. This is a major problem that I have been able to solve.
